ThinApp and for the Explorer Shell context menus

I'm trying to understand if I am doing something wrong or if it's just the way it is.

I practice packing with thinapp request, I tried Microsoft Office 2007, Acrobat Reader 9, Winrar, Firefox 3.0.7 Google Chrome and Skype 4.0 successfully.

There are a few differences in user experience that I would like to solve, if possible:

(1) when I right click on a zip file I have no menus to unzip with Winrar.

(2) PDF files are not displayed in preview in Vista, you get just the regular PDF icon on files;

(3) is there a way to hide the popup windows bit down right when a thinapp application is drawn?

(4) when opening a PDF file from the web using IE or any other broser you get the choice to save or open it, but it should actually open the file in the browser instead

I realized that these issued will not be because of my mistakes, but just the normal behavior of thinapped apps; I think just about all support requests I get once I'm going to put this into production simply because things are slightly different than ordinary user's full desktop experience.

Thank you for your support.

Yes. These two features depend on COM objects that are almost always implemented as in-process COM objects, which means that they are inside one. DLL. Since ThinApp virtualizes at the. EXE level, not at the. Level DLLS, it is not possible to expose these COM objects.
