  When I turn on my Machine.It does not display anything and computer remained in quick power Test.Then I disable it and agin Power ON alternately.

  And also in changing of the Clear CMOS jumpers.

  Then after this hard work for some time, it Turnned on with having no. Problem.and then I checked it for closure and again turn on, but no problem.

  This problem came again when I shutdown my computer and turn on after 1 hour or more.

  I Face this problem every day during several times or more.

  I've updated my Bios but this unsolved problem.

  Yes, you can use it without battery.

  But I would recommend that it is glued to, cause the powermanager will load automatically for the health of the battery.

  Also it s quiet possible, that your won´t system running at full capacity, if the battery is glued on.

  If you use a HTTP Post in your application to pass the URL of the Viewer to the discoverer server, then you can provide the password as a hidden input which is not visible to users.

• Equium M50-216: cannot save or use the microphone or "phone entries

  I have an Equium M50-216, with 1 GB of RAM & Centrino 1.7 GHz processor, running XP Home.

  Without apparent reason, I am suddenly unable to use my SKYPE USB ' phone to talk. Audio output is perfect, however.

  I also tried my helmet using the jack on the front of the laptop, with the same result.

  I downloaded and installed the latest driver for the sound card, which is a Realtek AC97. I tried the test equipment of Windows, but there is no evidence of entry he built in sound recorder, audio, or in windows.
  The device driver is properly enabled and reported no problems.

  Is it a hardware problem - as it seems card works OK for output?
  Is it a Windows problem - I can achieve a reformatting the drive & re-install of XP soon - it would help?

  You mean that it's a hardware problem, hmmm I n t think so.
  To me, it looks like a wrong setting

  Please check if the microphone is activated. This should be verified in the--> sound & audio devices Control Panel.
  On the volume tab, press the Advanced button.

  In the options settings, you can switch between the playback volume controls & record.
  Please check everything!

• To the installation of custom (my) Labview drivers created using system driver instruments LabView 8.2

  I spent the day writing a driver for my new general i/o board for LabView using the creator of project pilot such Instrument indicated on the latest LabView tutorials. It works fine on my computer, even incorporated in the Panel 'Instrument i/o' on the toolbar. Really great.

  But! This must obviously be something that I can publish on a Web site or email to people for them to install on * their * computers! I tried to use the configuration settings as described in another tutorial in order to produce a zip file, a source folder and a Setup program. However, none of these export options seems to produce a labview library that can be opened without nasty error message on the files being found. Of course, the files are present in the directory, but it is looking for them in the * original * folder instead of either the file installation or a folder in a directory from the file to the library. It's really quite absurd, so I guess I'm doing something wrong... but I can't find information on how to do this right. When I followed the instructions I can find, it does not at all.

  What I * should * was that, if I created an installer, when an end user with LabView installed ran the installer it would integrate the new Instrument of e/s vi in their panel of LabView. But this does not happen. In addition, when you look in the installation directory (by default not the LabView directory), but a directory in Program Files/driver-name all the files are there. But if you open the library in the directory of the Volume, he complains about the vi being in the wrong place, then load them in the wrong place.

  It seems clear that the behavior of the installer must be to put the appropriate files in the location where LabView research instrument drivers. That is not that this disturbs the bajeezus out of me. Can someone explain me or give me a link to the instructions how to accomplish this feat apparently obviously necessary?   On the "Source Files" category in the specifications of construction for an installer, [LVDIR] represents the LabView installation directory. So, if you create the directory instr.lib under [LVDIR], you are installing in the root directory of the instr.lib. Then, create another folder named identically in your project source directory (so that it can find the files) and mark in the installation directory. On the side of the project view, open 'My computer', choose your lvlib on the left and your installation on the right directory and click on the right arrow between the two panes. This will create an installation directory structure in the correct location on the target.

  I've used Skype without any problem, but had to have my laptop rebooted everything is now going well except Skype. I have installed and uninstalled twice, but it does not recognize my internal webcam. I thought I would try updating my driver, but can't understand the answer what type of product, I have laptop gives 3 options, archive or options, which I can't make sense - someone please help am desperate to get back on Skype.

• Equium M50-164: Question about timer use & battery fan

  Just put your hands on my laptop equium m50-164 today and I wanted to clarify a few issues

  first of all,

  I flashed my bios with the latest version and after restarting, fan kicks at full power and has not extinguished until I put the laptop in standby mode, this seemed to fix the problem but fan seems suddenly in much more than compared to before, fortunately the fan isn't the one 100% , but more like 15-20% every 30 seconds or one minute then goes into silent mode the fan does not reach 100%, unless I have do a reboot :),.

  I know the fan will accelerate faster based on the use of the processor (thermal) etc. but is this normal? I talked to support and they wanted me to have an immediate replacement, but I said that I would wait a few days to see if she could calm :)

  and finally looking at the electricity meter and other software tools there seems to be no calibration of the battery, with previous laptops, I noticed that numeric calculations are made based on the use of the battery and time [i.e. a timer] but with this laptop that I kind find a timer - I would of thought tha any computer laptop has this facility today!

  any advice would help

  If the Toshiba service makes an instant replacement if you should take it.
  Maybe there's something wrong with the hardware or software.

  But as Feliks has suggested, you must first reinstall the Toshiba Power Manager.
  This utility is responsible for the CPU and the cooling module activations.

  PS: The time of battery life indication occurs if you move the cursor over the icon of standby power.

  I have a Qosmio X 500 - 12N and got a major prolem, not always but about 4/10 times, the computer crashes, (not authorized stock, mouse freeze, sound continues to repeat) even if I did not open any program or I do nothing

  I have to shut the power button, so no information is sent to the support system. (and stop cold is not very good for the computer, lol)

  I tried all the updates, drivers, software care pc, defragging, scandisk, cleaners registry etc etc and the problem persists.

  I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and they did to solve or maybe if you could tell me what are the causes of the problem so that I could try to solve it.

  I use the Satellite P500 and it's also big machine like your Qosmio but so far I didn't noticed similar problems working on it.
  It is not easy to say why this happens, but somehow, I think that some background process is blocking your Qosmio.

  Do you have a lot of additional software installed? As you know many of them begin with OS and runs in the background. Try to stop all unnecessary processes and also all of them that you need for your work and you will see if it happens again.

  I m afraid there is not a simple trick to avoid this, and you have to find the reasons why this happen.
  For how long you have your Qosmio?
  Since when this blocking has started?

  Some Microsoft update is perhaps responsible for that. What do you think?

  Have you tried to install and run the system update 4? Update system should give you the possibility to download and install the drivers for your computer and should correct the missing drivers. It will also give you options to download and install other drivers and software from Lenovo. Just make sure that you use the update of system 4.0 for Windows 7 and earlier versions.
