  I need a replacement battery for my laptop (DV6-7028TX) and online there are several places that offer, "Pull on batteries", which are basically ripped off a new computer laptop, as the name suggests and is much less expensive. Does anyone have any experience with these? And they are all good?

  On the topic of hardware upgrades and replacements, for those of you who may have a hp dv6-7028tx, while doing some maintence on this, I spotted an msata slot, (which is empty as stock on this model), to which i added a kingston ssd 60 GB Msata and got the Intels Rapid Storage Technology running. who uses the ssd as a cache for the HARD drive. And staff of his lightning quick with start-up experience and all my regular programs. So, if you have a slot msata and can run Intels RST, I definitely recommend get it! well worth the $75 to the ssd. It feels like a new laptop.

  I advanced and bought 'New battery pull' for $27, and it works well. only 6 cycles and 96% of its capacity. for less than $30, when hp will sell them for $139.00, its really good value!

  The link posted in my first comment, was the battery that I bought.

  In conclusion, regarding the new traction batteries-it works and is well worth the money! (Provide its from a reliable seller.)

You can use a generic but that may require a redesign of the front or just get a car dv6-6000 BR on eBay. Trade on with a few screws on the bottom. Get out and drag the replacement. You will need new software to play BR movies, of course.
