  • Images not showing and "there is an error on this page.

Hi, I maintain a fork of PDFBox, an opensource PDF engine. A user reported that one of its documents created with our library has made a mistake "there is an error on this page" and images were missing in Acrobat reader. I studied the he and the user managed to a given a short example file, I rechecked with specifications and nothing seems off... I also tried several PDF readers then 5 and they are all happily display the document, images and all, except Acrobat (I tried version 9 for Linux and the latest DC for Windows) which gives this error message. Could someone help me to know what is happening? Or at least, is a newspaper or a tool in Acrobat to understand what he dislikes in this document?

    https://DL.dropboxusercontent.com/u/12975533/12-Section_fish_manual.PDF

In short, I think my question is "what to do when Acrobat says that a document is malformed or corrupted so that all other drives don't"?

    Thank you

I got an immediate suspicion on this problem and it reduced, but I think it was really good. The problem is not the flow of the page I think but a color space that is referenced from an image online. R77 to be precise.

The reason why I was suspicious was there is a special case where many consumers PDF are wrong and Acrobat is right; and many PDF creators are too bad but the problem is so rare, that you almost never see. You can see where a string constant contains binary data. This is legal, of course, but the manipulation of the backslashes and returns to the line (both separately and together) is often incomplete or neglected. What we can be sure Acrobat is the search string indexed in R77 as having only 767 bytes, we run. My recommendation, because the implementions aren't in agreement, is to avoid the problem by using hex strings whenever a string contains binary data.

  • Tree of the page of this document contains an invalid node

We have some PDF files that our users add pages and bookmarks for from time to time.

In one of them, once we go to the bookmark n61 I get the message error "tree page of this document contains an invalid node.  I have this same message for each bookmark after n ° 61

I can remove the bookmarks, but still cannot access the pages.  If I try to navigate by paging down through the PDF only a small thumbnail of the pages screens.

When I try to delete the pages concerned, I get the error message, "Dict object EXPECTED."

I tried to extract only the pages above where to start the «problem» bookmarks  Unfortunately, I get the error 'tree page of this document contains an invalid node' when I try to do.

Any ideas how I can fix this problem?  I appreciate any help or ideas about this.

    Thank you.

The document is damaged. If you cannot back up the document from its original sources, and there is no version of the file from a backup, then you can try printing to the virtual printer of Acrobat pdf file to create a new version of the file. This is not the same quality as the original, but it might be acceptable.

Sync to iphoto with Iphone hangs on during synchronization. In addition the google map can be charged when I click on the places of Mediathek. Error message: "this page has not loaded correctly Google Maps. See the JavaScript console for more technical details. »

Perhaps the reason for the problem of synchronization is the problem with the loading of google map?

Error message: "this page has not loaded correctly Google Maps. See the JavaScript console for more technical details. »

Apple has not renewed the contract with Google to access Google servers.

If the old version of iPhoto, which are still using Google's servers for the cards and places are either crashing or hanging.  Places are only work in iPhoto 9.5.1 or newer, who use places of Apple servers.

There is more support for iPhoto from Apple.  You must update iPhoto 9.5.1 with the Mavericks. It would work well, only it is no longer buying this update to Apple.

Perhaps the reason for the problem of synchronization is the problem with the loading of google map?

It is very likely.  If iPhoto work very well when you are offline, then your problems will be caused by the connection failed to Googles servers.

    Hello

I'll try to uninstall IE9 as shown in the link below.

When this is complete and you have restarted the PC, see if you can now print.  If everything works well, try reinstalling IE9 with your security software temporarily disabled during installation.
