Thunderbird does not recognize my new Verizon smpt settings and I can not send e-mails. Help!
I tried to change my setting smpt for the new setting to verizon, but when I try to send an email, I get a message that Thunderbird does not recognize the smpt.verizon.net as a framework smpt.
It's smtp.verizon.net. You must correct your typo fault.

Before going through the stages of the reconstruction of the base of messages, try to repair the database with my Windows Mail utility and see if that fixes the problem. Not to recognize the new or old password and cannot connect to the e-mail
I replaced the old password used to connect to e-mail to [email protected] last night (Monday, 3 August 14). I went to connect to email this morning and it wouldn't recognize new or old password. It kept giving me an error message that pop.server has not identified any username and/or password and access is denied. Use your tools section reset password and it is not always grateful. (And for some strange reason, I deleted Portal Manager password which showed passwords for this system. Any help to get into the system and correct my incompetence will be greatly appreciated. Thunderbird does not accept the mail account password
I have an Outlook e-mail account. As part of normal security care, I changed the password to it. I can access my Outlook (web) account using this new password.
When I have shot-up Thunderbird, it asks the new password for this account. I gave him. It says that the password is incorrect. I checked in Outlook, once again. All very well with this password.
I deleted this account in Thunderbird. I tried adding the account again - where he was confused - with the new password. It says that the password is incorrect.

Windows Live Mail does not send e-mail
Started getting an error on Windows Live Mail message when I try to send an email, saying that it cannot connect to my server which is Comcast.net. I used a few days ago and it worked fine in the same place. He still receives send without any problem.

Updated Oracle EBS 11i to R12.2.5.
workflow services are running. I checked mail book of operating system level.
After Testmailer, questioned the wf_notifications where the mail_status shows that "MAIL", after awhile it becomes "NULL".
I was approaching the value of preferences and value attributed properly to the user.
Why the value of mail_status is changing with the value NULL of MAIL? How to solve the problems more far.

Thunderbird does not connect with the server
Another recent problem is Thunderbird does not connect with the server. I don't know if sent mail will go out, but I know I'm nothing receive. My internet connection works well for FF or another browser. I checked my settings and they seem OK. I checked the default settings in Win10x64 and they are correct. Any ideas?
Although windows 10 is new for us all. How do solve you. I have other solution with very similar issues.

Thunderbird does not all files except "inbox." and against the info 'aid', there is NO 'account settings' under 'Tools' & I have the latest version of T. I just need to download the SENT MESSAGES, Inbox not only.

If you do not see 'Tools', then you do not have your active 'Menu Bar'.

You subscribe to view these folders in Thunderbird.
You synchronize directories subscribed for a copy in Thunderbird.
What you do in a folder for example imap: delete, will occur on the server, so viewing via webmail or Thunderbird folders appear identical.However, in your case, it seems that you have created a POP e-mail account.
E-mail POP accounts can only connect to Inbox server and download server Inbox for the Thunderbird Inbox pop e-mail account.
It's not a quirk of Thunderbird; This is how all Pop mail represents the work.There is a work around to get "sent" in the folder mail sent from server in Thunderbird. You just do it once, because when you send it through Thunderbird, it will put the e-mails in the folder sent TB pop mail account and not on the server.
Thunderbird creates a "Sent" folder when first send you an email.
So, if you have not yet sent an email, please send one, even if only to yourself.Then, move all inbox emails in the appropriate folders.
You can create new folders to organize them.How to create a new folder:
- Right-click on the name of the e-mail account, and then select "new folder."
- Give an appropriate file name and click "create a folder".
When the Inbox is empty:
- Logon to the Web e-mail account by using a browser.
- Move all emails "Sent" in the "Inbox".
In thunderbird:
- Click on 'Get the message'
all the "Sent" emails must get downloaded from the server Inbox anto your Inbox in Thunderbird.
- Then move all your emails in the 'Sent' Thunderbird folder.
You should now have all these emails downloaded from the server and display in Thunderbird.

Thunderbird does not not with my IMAP server despite download update
Since the last update that Thunderbird does not sync with my IMAP folders. It won't matter of new emails, copy sent emails etc and it takes forever and I mean to always load:

It seems that the sync IMAP of Thunderbird (31.1.2) is somewhat in conflict with CalDAV Lightning (3.3.1) synchronization, in my case with ownCloud (5.0.17) server.
Whenever I'm * online * AND the lightning is * activated * Thunderbird freezes.
Seen lightning * disabled *, sync IMAP works just fine as it should - and has done in the past.
Be * off *, lightning and even just CalDAV synchronization to work very well.
It seems to be the combination of the two that makes it ununsable.
I run THAT TLS secure IMAP on port 143 and self-signed HTTPS on port 443, with the same certificate.
I was able to reproduce this on a second housing with a nearly identical configuration.

As soon as I connect on Thunderbird, with any action I take, immediately I get the message "Thunderbird does not respond.
It is and will always be a problem in Microsoft. I got exactly the same problem with MSE and Thunderbird at the time of Thunderbird 3. I've spilled the Microsoft Junk and have not looked back.
There are a lot of free anti virus alternatives of MSE. Almost all of them offer more features and better success rates when catch bugs

Thunderbird does not delete messages!
I tried many Linux e-mail clients. The best is Thunderbird. Of course, it's not flashy out of the box and requires some adjustments to get it as good as the products Ms. But get there eventullay.
