TIFF images and print-screen pixelated

I am trying to place a TIFF image or a screenshot on a page in Indesign, but the image eventually even pixelated with very high resolution.   I am currently viewing an image of a web page for a manual training.   I created a file of 600 pixels/inch in Photoshop, press "Print screen" when I was on the web page and saved the file in TIFF format.  When I'm in Photoshop, the image is clear.   However, when I place it on the page, the image is pixelated.   I get the same result when just paste directly from print to the screen.   Advice on how to import a clear picture?

  • Traced using TIFF image and vector art works do not!

Help, please! I'm doing a composite path using the vector stars and a TIFF image. Pathfinder he, nor the route command transparent option works. Ive tried to put the stars on the top layer of most, but also all the elements in the same layer and I do either no results or the message saying "cannot make a compound path. All objects in a compound path must be paths, and they can not be brushed or part of an object. "When I use the negative command of foreground, starts just disappear even if they are on the top most layer.

I have never had a problem like that, but then again, I always made of compound shapes or paths using all vectors.

I've even re-recorded the image to see if the EPS format makes all the difference and not.

My client is waiting on me... any advice is greatly appreciated!

I can pass the file if necessary. Thank you!!!

    Nina,

You can select all the stars and Ctrl / Cmd + G to group them, then change their background (and contour, if necessary) to white if not already (the ones I see are white), and then select the Group of Star and the image below and in the transparency palette dialog box click do with unchecked Clip opacity mask and mask invert checked.

  • Save the map as image and print it

    Hello everyone,

I have a few problems with the registration card to the image format and printing also. I use mapview.getMapAsXML ("GIF_URL") to get the XML query but I don't really know how to send this request to OMServer and get the answer in image!

On printing the map. I'm following example Oracle to the printed card ("http://starbucks.infotech.com.tr/mapviewer/fsmc/tutorial/samples/mapPrint.html"), but get this error: "application of string is too long for no AJAX of Oracle remote access cards.»

Could you please help with card, save and print?

    Thank you in advance.

You can use mapview.getMapImageURL. It will give you the URL of the result map image, that you can embed in a web page for display or printing.

"Query string is too long for no AJAX remoting. Oracle cards', you can read this thread, ask the string is too long for the Oracle Maps AJAX non-remote access

  • PS Newb needs help with resizing the image and print several sheet

Hi, I am using PS CS3 to resize an image, I have so I can print to use as a map for a miniatures game.  I have no problem of scaling of the image to the appropriate size, but I can't understand how to print multiple image 8.5 x 11 sheets.  I thought I saw an option for such a procedure before, but maybe it was in another editing program.  If anyone has any ideas on how I could do this I would really appreciate hearing about them.  Thank you!

Illustrator and InDesign are tiled printing, like CorelDraw. Photoshop, this title is not, but may be a few script for this. In your case, the simplest solution would be to save the file in PDF format and have Acrobat print a tiled (Page scaling of parameter in Acro print dialog box). You just need to make sure that your page corresponds to several pages. Unliek AI and ID, Acro chop only stuff based on standard paper sizes...

  • Images and texts of pixelation.

    Hello

I'm doing an infograhics for a mobile application using after effect cs4. Although I am ading texts / images they are pixelated. How would it be perfect? Any change of preference?

Screenshot of do not display the composition settings or we give information about your chart, or sceneline. It's extremely pixelated so just guessing here, but I think you are looking at your composition in a report of more than 100% magnification.

This example is very good, it seems just pixelated because of the magnification ratio...

Generally speaking, the size of your composition should be at least the size of you final project delivered. A 320 X 240 video is tiny, about half of your screenshot. My standard for all projects is full HD 1920 X 1080 to a minimum. About 1/3 of my projects are twice as bigger. You can always easily return a smaller version, but it is never a good idea to just make a bigger.

The graphics that you add to a project must be at least the size that you want in the finished composition seen as a 2d scale 100% layer. The graph of the phone in your screenshot should be of at least 1/4 the size of your publication.

  • How to convert a Tiff image to JPEG without being FORCED to 8-bit color?

I'm an artist.  I have high quality TIFF images.  When I convert TIFF to jpeg it make me color 8-bit automatically. (Forget about 32 bit - it does not in jpeg format that at all)   The only way that I can return to the 16-bit color is to use the already broken file and bring it up to 16 bits.  IT makes NO sense at all.  Once the jpeg format is broken, how is the world supposed to convert back to the top. ??  So even though it says that you have converted the 16 - bit file, metadata is always about the 8-bit file.

In addition to en plus de tout all this confusion, an image, for example, in the case of so-called converted to 16-bit, gets a lot grow so even the original Tiff image.  It looks good on the one hand and more exposed on the other.  I guess that's throwing in resolution photoshop fake, I'm good?

I'm wasting my time with this 16-bit imaginary conversion?

Is it possible to take the original Tiff image and convert default 8-bit to 16-bit jpeg without value?  I tried all sorts of things.  I even asked my web guy.  My web guy said only 8 bits is unexceptable for printing, same for the web.

Would this have something to do with my computer and the scanner?

I have the memory of 8 GB iMAC OS X 10.8.3 (3.2 GHz).

And I also have a capable graphic arts Epson Expression 10000XL scanner from scanniing to 48-bit color.

This color stuff is really important!  This is IMPORTANT!  I have files FINE art.  I'm already losing so much quality with jpeg conversion. (which I am required to do for SmugMug, in addition to the compression of all my files of 50 MB or less)

Anyone who knows anything that could help me would be much appreciated.

    Aloha,

    -Melissa

First jpeg is 8-bit only it there's no way to register as a 16 or 32-bit jpg, just does not exist. Secondly people print in 8 bit all the time and most if not all web graphics are 8-bit because this is the only way to see because there is no 32-bit or 16-bit monitors to see. All pro monitors are 8-bit monitors.

If you like on the color range and want the range of colors that provide 16 and 32 bit, so why jpg? Jpg by his own nature throws of color just to compress, why it is popular on the web, because of its small file size not its quality. If you need 16 or 32-bit for what it is, it must be in a format that supports this color depth.

That being said, that a jpg to 8 bit image displays 16 million colors, 256 shades of red, 256 shades of green and 256 shades of blue.

Now, here's where I think your information bit is disabled. a jpg image is a 24-bit image that will produce 8-bit red, 8-bit, 8 bits of blue and green.

8, 16 and 32 channel are not total not the color information.

If the overall picture was of 8 bits, the image would be gayscale.

  • Print screen with Snipping Tool does not.

Print screen or capture tool work.  They worked very well in the past, but now neither one works.  Back to zero does not solve the problem.

Screenshot doesn't seem to do anything in the copy buffer because even if the block occurs, nothing sticks in.

Snipping Tool just shows a black with a red around him border screen, instead of the actual screen shot (no matter the option I select IE free Style or whole screen, etc.), I have Vista Home Premium with all service packs.

    Thank you

This should be the final resolution to my problem of Snipping Tool/print screen:

    1. I downloaded and ran the Malwarebytes program as recommended.  And BTW, I don't see this recommendation here.  I'm fairly new participant in Forums, so maybe there's a reason that I see here this recommendation I don't know.  The Malwarebytes has really done his job and even if I run MS Essentials program found Malwarebytes 25 hits of Mal-ware on this PC.  Once I have it fixes these problems, the symptoms of my problem of Snipping Tools became less consistent.

If Malwarebytes fixed part of the problem with the Snipping incroyables.* *.

2 but the final resolution is that it turns out that there is that one Internet site where the tool captures will not work and it is my Bank.  I know that my Bank suggested I run a program called safety report.  It's my theory that is my bank site or report has something programmed into it that prevents screen either with the tool to capture and print screen captures.  If I go into my bank site with Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, the Snipping Tool will not work.  However, the Snipping Tool works everywhere else.  It's all the other websites and in other programs.

The Snipping Tool does not work on my banking site (probably because of the REPORT) and maybe it will not work on other sites closely to secure *.

Thank you very much for the help.

  • Why print preview and print lose lines of text from the image to the screen in the browser

When I bring up (for example) a magazine article in my browser and you want to print it for future reference, print preview and printed image 'lost' lines of text between pages compared to the original image in the browser. For example: visit this link: http://www.pcauthority.com.au/Feature/408318, how-to-make-windows-admin-easy-with-powershell.aspx?eid=2 & edate = 20150828 & utm_source = 20150828 & utm_medium = newsletter & utm_campaign = weekly_newsletter & nl = weekly and select 'Print' from the menu. Print preview that appears - poster in portrait mode or landscape - loses one or two lines of text for the print version wraps useless. Where the missing text? pagination is not identical, and Firefox seems unable to handle it.

I use a HP desktop with Intel i7 CPU 8 GB of RAM and Win 7 Pro SP1. Firefox is V40.0.3

I do not see "imposed by the system of page breaks" encoded in this Web page. It would be difficult for an author of a Web page with an international audience.

You use A4 paper, but what about those of us using letter-size paper? Page breaks may screw up page print to LETTER, from a Web site to THE like this.
And what about the 'zoom' different levels? For printing which is called scale preview of Firefox and Page Setup print.
I put systematically "modest" when printing to save paper, to keep the last page to only a few lines, or when the font size in print preview is too great (IMO) for printing on paper. And the size of police appeared to have worsened as monitor resolutions have gotten larger over the years.

The only time wherever I lost lines of text between printed pages was when I was "pushing the limits" with the paper up and down / page margins. IOW, too small header / footer trying to get on each page as possible. By default, Firefox a. 5 "margins (left and right) with. 5 "header / footer (top and bottom margins) = letter-size paper. With 'A' type of paper using metric would be tantamount to the margins of 12.7 mm on all four sides. The /metric of inches "toggle" is with the size of the paper, the user has selected.

Check the Page > margins & header / footer to see if you have the parameters of ~ 12mm or it they are smaller.

  • Pixelated images placed on export and print (InDesign)

I'm stumped. Indd files containing images placed that just the other day I exported without problems now export to PDF with blurry images. They feel that way too. Seen in "high quality" view in InDesign, they are crispy. They are all 300 dpi images and original image sizes are higher than what they are resized to in InDesign. Some are .psd, some are .jpeg. Does not appear to matter. The only thing that's changed this week is that I have updated also well Photoshop and InDesign. But that does not mess with my files. What is going on???

Export your old settings were probably changed something by using heavy interpolation or compression. PDF/X-4 downsize to 300 ppi for what anyone more than 450 using high quality compression. It changes not colors, however, if you need to convert it to an output profile.

  • Unexplained change in size of the Print Screen saved image

Is not a computer geek, I'm sometimes thrown when my laptop is suddenly something differently when I have not intentionally "asked".

The last thing that has happened is a real nuisance and I would be very grateful if a brilliant person could put me right.

I keep a daily record of the changes to the e-important information by using print screen and save it to a file. normally, this image is saved as a certain size (pixels x 768 1366 pixels) that fits with my view of deterioration. About two weeks ago the same procedure suddenly gave place to an image SMALLER, but with MORE (?) pixels (1366 x 918) without consciously doing me something different. Can someone tell me how to get back to where I was before? It does not help if I increase the Zoom level I print screen; This only translates a picture cutting the edges of what I want to see.

Hope I have explained this in an understandable way.

Alright.  Right after you click on paste, click on crop.  This will ensure the area of the image exactly matches copied dimensions and will be the size of the exact screen of 1366 x 768 pixels.

  • Sony Xperia Z5 Premium screen pixelated when the landscape and square on screen grid points.

When I turn on my new Sony Xperia Z5 Premium landscape mode, I can vaguely see a lot of horizontal and vertical lines on the screen.
But when I shoot in portrait mode, you can't really see them more

I tried the 4K images and video to see if it was only a matter of scale down, but it wans't ' t. Even at 4K, I always saw them.

Finally, I used a magnifying glass, just to make sure I wasn't seeing things, and I, they were much more noticeable under the magnifying glass.

It's rather annoying. I want to watch YouTube or websites in landscape mode, but the screen will look pixelated. Reminds me of the old QVGA screens. Loses clarity and crispness of images, videos, etc.

In addition, it seems to be points, LEDs, I don't really know what they are, in the screen of my phone, without worrying if my phone is turned on or off. They can be seen when the light is reflected by the screen. I did not have this problem on my Z1 or Z Ultra.

If it's a screen defect, please let me know, so I can return the phone while it is still brand new condition.

    Thank you

    Hi guys,.

That's right, the lines are the digitizer behind the glass and is present on all Xperia devices and visible on different angles.
