Time of beginning of stream / or server not found with FMIS upgrade

I recently upgraded from FMS 2 - FMIS 3.5.  Through our videos stream of internal network like a dream!  However, to access them from outside our own network of the ways they take 20 seconds to load, or sometimes just get a message saying that the server is not found.

It wasn't a problem with the FMS2 and there were no changes to the firewall settings or something like that since the old server was running without problem.  I have new server set to use exaclty the same ports, but wonder if there are a few other parameters that could be the cause?

Setting in network is not really my area of expertise, and I have no idea where to start looking to improve things.  Can anyone offer some suggestions as to why this is happening?  Would appreciate any help.  Thank you

This 20 second period makes me suspect and the question with links in the port. It is typical for the Flashplayer to take about 20 seconds for the attempt on port 1935 to exhale and try to use port 80.

In your fms.ini, you have the adaptor.hostport of the value? Also, is there anything else running on the server that could handle port 80... Maybe a HTTP Server? If so, what is the environment? IIS, apache, windows, Linux, etc.?

Also, in your event logs, you will see errors of FMS, suggesting that it cannot attach to a specific port? In windows, it will appear in your event viewer... not sure about Linux.

You could try connecting to the server with a port defined in the url...

RTMP://mydomain.com:1935/application/instance

and

RTMP://mydomain.com:80/application/instance

If you find that either do not always succeed, he suggested that a port is occupied by another application, or FMS is not mandatory to all IP addresses or ports configured for a reason any.

Looks like it's something on the computer. There are cookies that must be removed individually from the Firefox profile.

To do this, go to the Firefox Menu, tap Preferences, then tap privacy and then delete cookies or cookies see the. You can search the sites that gives you problems and remove them. Restart Firefox.

It could also be that you add a DNS server for your connection. 8.8.8.8 is google, but I don't know if this would affect given that the server is not found, not that there is no link, that's why it does not sound like a connection problem, but a cache problem. I use mozilla firefox and windows xp home edition. I connect to Wildblue satellite internet. For the past 2 weeks, I feel a constant need to refresh the page, when I try to start firefox or click to open another tab. I get "server not found" error page where I click try again several times. I had internet connection problems resolution which took place nothing. I unplugged my router for up to an hour and everything seems Ok for a very short time, then the whole process repeats. At this point, I am at a loss. I don't know if it's computer related or linked Wildblue because all that was fine until this past 2 weeks or more. I pay a lot per month for this flat internet and so I would like to get this resolved.

You should probably Wildblue call and see if they can diagnose their link and see if they have problems.

  • Server not found (well Yes.) Another)

    Hello wonderful people to support,

I know that this fault has been raised countless times previously. But for me? Currently a problem.

My "Server not found" error since frequency increased significantly in moving on Windows 10 x 64 (from Win 7 x 64), composed at the same time to install a new version of Firefox in early June and subsequently updated to current 47.0.1.

At first I blamed the sites themselves (the server down?), but as he became more persistent, I tested the site with another browser and everything was fine.

I tried almost all the suggestions listed in the FAQ section section help for this type of error (including disabling the firewall, disabling all browser extensions & add-ons, Cache, DNS Prefetching, compensation for malware Checked). The only step I still have to take is "Reset Firefox" because of its recent nature resort.

Often, a Web site that are not accessible due to "Server not found" can properly be consulted a few moments later (within 30 minutes) without adjusting a single setting of the browser or system.

It is not a constant problem that 95% of the time Web sites to connect without a problem, but it is a problem.

    Yours faithfully, Jason

Have you tried flushing your DNS? Your DNS converts URLS to IP addresses. She recorded these IP addresses in a table so that they are accessible later. Flushing your DNS will delete this table and can solve the problem.

If it does not help the issue, please try to reset your Internet Options in Windows and reset Internet Explorer. I know that sounds strange, but sometimes not valid settings in the Internet Options or Internet Explorer can prevent Firefox to work properly.

Please let us know if you are able to solve the problem.

  • WRT54GS2 v1 connection expired and server not found

OK I got the connection expired issues and server not found on both my PC and my Laptop.I I use Zoom ADSL ISP x 5 provided. series 1605. I have a router Linksys WRT54GS2. I followed the installation program in full and was surfing without delay. The problem started there when I bought the router and plugged in about 5 months. I already spoke with technology specialists to my ISP and they said that I have an excellent DSL connection and they have not seen any problems at their end. I had disconnected the router completely my network and removed the Ethernet cable and hooked the cable directly to a DSL modem and had no problems until I plugged the router in the modem. I factory reset the router a few times and implemented accordingly to make sure everything was good. Well, I still have errors in time-out for laptops and PCs. I have tried almost everything in the book and I'm out of ideas. Am I missing something here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried changing the settings through the router and nothing seems to work. I checked both PC and laptop computer for viruses and nothing. I talked to my ISP and they tell me that my DSL connection is excellent and which was not disconnects or connection has expired at their end. It is located between my router and two computers. An Ethernet cable is plugged directly from the computer to a DSL modem. And an Ethernet cable is connected directly to the rear of the router. I am just totally stumped. The internet is totally fine when I cut out the router completely. I have no disconnects when the main PC is connected to the DSL modem with router disconnected completely. I have reset the router completely and followed Linksys technical support online for the T and I still get the connection has expired. Initially, I got a Belkin wireless router and thus became the message timeout through it. I thought something was wrong with this one so I went out and bought a Linksys WRT54GS2 router Linksys Wireless G. can someone offer some advice or ideas that I have not already tried? Please? The wife and I are really frustrated.

  • Error: "DNS server not found" when you try to access the internet.

original title: network WIFI DNS connection issues

    Hi all

This is my weirdest experience with WIFI connections so far. So let me explain.
I have several WIFI connection to my modem/router that work very well, 2 phones and 2 laptops work just great, wirelessly.
Now I have this new ASUS wireless adapter to my PC and it gives me a headache, and the ASUS support... Well, what kind of support?
When I turn on my pc, my pc connects to the router with full connection bars. But there is no internet, I'm getting DNS SERVER NOT FOUND, this happens every time when starting of the pc. But when my pc has already started and then I reset the router, I get internet with good working DNS and then everything works. But of course, when then restart my pc again, it loses DNS and I can restart the router once more...
I have tried everything I know, manual setting of DNS does not work, renewing the ip and dns cmd of hot flashes do not work either.
    My setup
    ------
    Windows 7 Professional x 64
    ASUS PCE - N15 11n Wireless card
    DHCP enabled
Dns and ip automatic (ip4/ip6) parameters
    ------
I really hope that you guys can help me, it drives me crazy and the problem continues to exist for a month now.

    Hello Serellyn,

Have you tried to change the wireless channel that your router is running at? There may be interference that could prevent the internet connection:

Take a look at step 6 in this article. He further explains this problem as possible:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/athome/Setup/wirelesstips.aspx

If you need assistance to change the settings of the specific router, you will need to contact your router manufacturer or your internet service provider.

  • Server not found

EVERY Web site I click on give me this error on my Mac Book Pro page:

    Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at www.weather.com.

Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

    What is rong?

You have security software that would block websites?

Try disabling IPv6 (also check other possible causes).

  • Work around for server not found problems on FF36

I found a work around for all people with server not found problems with FF36.

If you manually set your DNS network adapter to an external DNS server (as opposed to your local ISP) then the problem disappears. I set mine to use the google DNS servers:

     Preferred: 8.8.8.8
     Alternate: 8.8.4.4

No idea why this works, but it is 100% success on my desktop PC, whereas before I could not connect to a Web page with FF36 without updating the multiple page and a lot of frustration, although FF35 was fine and back to FF35 turnover was as beautiful.

Something has changed in FF36 and how it manages the DNS or the mode of operation with certain network cards.

There is nothing to do with the Add - ons, profiles or software firewall as I tried all these things and that the DNS change makes a difference. I even copied on a full profile and directory of program files to work for Mozilla on my laptop which saw no problem and the problem still exists on the desktop, which is why I started watching the network adapater since everything between the working PC and no work was identical.

I hope that this will help the developers to identify the real cause of the problem and fix it in the next version.

AG - your problem looks different you had FF36 work.

Considering that the problem of many of us that when we spend FF35 in FF36 we get a lot of server is found errors when you try to load Web pages.

Sometimes they load and then they stop loading and then if you click Refresh a lot that they sometimes then charge again, or you have to wait a minute or two and then they load.

For some reason any using an external DNS server {see # 698286 answer ~ J99} has stopped this problem completely, as does return to FF35.

We need an expert on to Mozilla DNS resolution to focus on this. [*] See my note under ~ J99 Seems to me that you use an external DNS server adds some latency to name resolution and maybe this is necessary for the network card in the PC that encounter this issue to resolve the addresses of Web page.

Obviously something changed in FF36 FF35 to cause this problem. I'm open to Mozilla contact me by E-mail if they want me to try something else to help pin it down.

    *

    change Note the John99
Mozilla can consider WHETHER we are able to provide evidence to support this. We must be able to complete a report of bug with right steps to reproduce (STR). Developers should be able to see themselves the problem before we can expect to focus on this.
