Time zone time/Daylight Savings conflict between Windows 7 and Illustrator CS6

When summer time made its change this spring I started having problems saving files in Illustrator. I'm going to save the files, mainly the format .eps, and Illustrator, it blocks. I changed my time zone to an area that has not yet transformed because of DST, and it works. Unfortunately, I think a new time zone, also, he ends up hitting DST, and I'm at square one. I have searched once the Adobe site and the Windows site to find an answer to my problem, but am having no luck.

My correct time zone

(UTC-07:00) Mountain Time (US & Canada)

I even tried to use Saskatchewan because they do not follow daylight saving time, but she also creates accidents. I tried several other time zones, the two worked so far are

(UTC-06:00) Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey (worked for a little while but a change in the weather a few weeks later messed up)

(UTC) Casablanca (working on that area of time now), but an alert on my computer says that the changes in time to come the 28th

Anyone know if there is a fix for this problem? I feel like I'm short on time, because I don't know how much more time zones will work.

I finally found the solution! My account is configured as an administrator, but for some reason any Illustrator did not open with administrator permissions. I have to go to my menu start, right click on Illustrator and open as administrator. Suddenly, everything works more fast, more fluid and correctly! I do not understand the reason behind all this, but at least it's working correctly now.

  • Sharing files between Windows 7 and Windows XP suddenly stops working

I have a set up working groups between Windows 7 and Windows XP computers.  I don't usually have a problem of file sharing, but suddenly XP computers do not connect to the server from Windows 7.  It will work for a while and then stops.  In order to solve this problem, I have to restart the server from Windows 7.  However, this problem occurs more and more and I would have preferred to find a permanent solution.  I checked all the normal solutions (IE firewall, no passwords, etc.), but I still have this problem.  I'm sure that all my settings are correct, as I am able to connect most of the time, but I know that there must be a solution out there to fix it permanently.

I read a post that I'm not sure is related to my question:

This problem may occur if the IRPStackSize registry entry on the server is set too low. I was unable to connect to the XP PC from any other PC on the network. Set ip 15 and problems went

If that is related, please let me know.

What is a patch that I need to download for XP computers?

Any help would be grateful.  Thank you!

I suspect that the limit is 5 concurrent connections for Windows 7 Home Premium, but I still need to find a reference book Microsoft.

  • How to share files between Windows XP and Windows 7 without password?

Hey guys, I want to share files between windows 7 and windows XP. I don't want to put the password on my Windows 7 or Windows XP account. I am going on my Windows XP perfectly shared files from Windows 7, but I am not able to go on my files of windows 7, the cause of my XP he asks user name and password. I enter the user name and it does not accept it if I make a password for my windows 7 and enter as the user name... I don't know what to do guys any help?

Windows 7 only WILL NOT allow you to share files without a password, it's all just a common sense safety requirement.  It of a very bad practice to run your Windows installations with a null value, a password, give your facility a valid password.

The simplest around your problem is to create an account with the same names and passwords on each machine and so typed the password when the connection is too a problem allow AutoLogon on the machines.

  • Problem to create the Internet connection sharing between Windows XP and Windows Vista.

Original title: Internet connection sharing between Windows XP and Windows Vista.

    Hello

Recently, I plugged a laptop running Windows XP to a desktop computer running Windows Vista using a standard Ethernet cable with the intention of use sharing of Internet connection. The notebook contains a wireless connection that I've routed to the office via the cable said.  While the initial phase of installation went well (I was too lazy to do it manually, so I just used the Wizard "Set up a home or small business network" Windows XP,) I had to turn off the host computer to install a program. When I tried to set up ICS again, I couldn't connect to the Internet by using ICS. After this failure, I tried to configure the properties of TC/IPv4 (IP, gateway by default, etc.) manually, but I still couldn't run.  I am able to access the shared host PC and client files. It seems to me that some service essential to the proper functioning of the ICS may be disabled in some way, but it's just speculation, as I have no evidence of such a service. Help would be most appreciated.

    Thank you

    FG-man

I tried this before using a laptop to share internet with my 360.  problem is there was Nat on the router, and it is in contradiction with the ics.

Anyway long story short I did some research on the Internet and discovered that if you're behind a router ICS will be confllict with her, as ICS also does routing. a much better option is to "bridge the conections ' on the laptop.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/resources/documentation/Windows/XP/all/proddocs/en-us/hnw_bridge_install.mspx?mfr=true

If you go this route, you need to set a static ip address for the office,

Either that or if you want to continue using ICS put the laptop in the DMZ in the router may help, but it will be less secure.

Hope that this helped good luck

It's a scam call caused by malicious software (which is a nuisance rather than a threat). Do not call this number and in no case give some foreign to your PC access.

  • Comparison between Windows Vista and Windows 7

Hi, can you help me please make a better decision?

I am faced with a decision to make between windows Vista and the new Windows 7. I am currently using Windows Vista Home Basic (32 bit) that currently gives me a lot of problems. Now I think investing in a newer version of windows.

Can you please recommend me in terms of:
    1 price
    2. Security
    3. ease of use
    4 reliability
    5. fitness for purpose domestic to small business (Home Office)
6 connection to a network environment that has other versions of Windows, for example XP
    7. the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
    8. the programs that run on windows vista will run on windows 7? I have an accounting program I use so I would like to know if I will not have a problem if I choose windows 7

I have an offer to buy Windows Vista Ultimate and I want to compare it to Windows 7 Home Premium

    1. Windows 7 is less expensive than Vista, version for version
    2. Windows relies on Vista security
    3. Subjective - if you've never customized XP somehow, you should get good enough with Vista or Win 7
    4. Windows 7 has proved to be reliable in the tests.
    5. Since the release of XP, all Microsoft operating systems are good for the environment
    6. Windows 7 and Vista will be connect to XP
    7. Windows 7 and Vista is better than XP
    8. Generally Yes, but there may be drivers that have been coded to search for a specific operating system. It is a business decision made by the suppliers of hardware and software that allows them to continue to support product as he approaches the end of its product lifecycle, or push the consumer to buy a newly released product

If you do not require Bitlocker encryption or the ability to connect to a corporate domain, Windows 7 Home Premium is fine to do the job. You must keep in mind that are supported for Vista "home" versions, and that includes 'Ultimate', will end in 2012, where the support of Windows 7 will be ongoing.

In my opinion, you would be better advised to go to Windows 7 now and miss out on the stage of Vista...

I do not understand the question above, but to answer your question in
the subject line, "what's the difference between Windows 7 and.
Windows 7 Starter? "the Windows 7 Starter Edition is not another
operating system, it's just kind of Windows 7. And it is the lowest

  • I am dual-boot between Windows 7 and Windows 8, but fear the time required to start,

I am concerned about the time it takes my computer to start
I have a system dual boot with Windows 7 and Windows 8, and it takes several minutes to decide to show me the screen to decide which OS to use, and then it restart and takes some time to start [the chosen OS
Isn't time that Microsoft has put some of their skills as computers immediately when starting lit instead of focus on trying to outdo all other systems with stuff
By the way, I have the same comment on the closure, it takes some time to completely close down--another point for Microsoft to put the attention

Unfortunately, the processor is just at the level of the minimum required. In addition, RAM is 4 GB, in which folder page size will be approximately 8 GB. Norton 360 scans all files prior to execution, even if it's a system file. This is the reason for the delay.

Try to upgrade the processor and the rest will be solved.
  • What is the difference between Windows Mail and Windows Live Mail?

    Separated from this thread.

I realize that starting from 7/11, Windows Live is more effective on my Windows Vista system.  I understand that and I have since beengetting my Hotmail acc't workingusing only Windows Live Mail.  This am, I tried to create a new account hotmail for my friend, but we couldn't get it to accept and just stopped trying.  Now, today, I can not send any e-mail because "you cannot configure Windows Mail to use a web (HTTP) that is running Windows Vista based."  WHA?  I managed somehow to get into Windows Live when I tried to get a new account hotmail for my friend?  Also, I also receive a message from the Assistant on "you want to want to leave, you have not created your new account?  (probably not the exact wording).  In response, I clicked Yes and no, and still I can't get out of this Windows Live.  I would like to purge my system of this needless to Windows Live and only use Windows Live Mail.  Can someone help me to do this?  (My knowledge of couputer is at a basic level, so hopefully it won't be too difficult to understand.)  Thank you!!!

(With the HTTP mess), it seems Windows Mail and Windows LIVE Mail are two very different things.

I am not a technician, but try to stay up-to-date. I have known that Vista sucks because it came out, but it surprised me, never have used before today. So I wonder...  Windows LIVE Mail can be installed on a Vista unit, and if so he would remove the format HTTP bug? It's all THE Microsoft, after all! On my PC with Windows 7 HP with complete Essentials, including Live Mail (for PC, to avoid confusion with the version online), I have not had any problems to Hotmail at work, send or receive. GMail also, no problem, the only thing I did NOT like about Live Mail is that it doesn't have the handy function "Sweep" that I love, I just go online to own things very quickly. With only Windows Mail (which I assume is supplied with Vista), it won't let me even try to set-up Hotmail/Outlook account. It's stupid, because like I said it's all EM!

    peace ~

Windows Mail is the e-mail that comes with client program and a part of Windows Vista. Windows Live Mail is a program available for free download; It is an e-mail client, the timing, the Manager contacts, aggregator and newsreader at a single feeding program.

Until a few years ago, it was possible to synchronize the Hotmail accounts with e-mail clients on Windows XP and Vista (Outlook Express and Windows Mail respectively) using WebDAV over HTTP protocol. This method has been deprecated after a long sequence of initialization in September 2009. Before that date, POP3 access has been made available for all Hotmail accounts. At any time it was not possible to access Hotmail email clients accounts. There is no bug involved here, nor in HTTP format or anything else.

Windows Live Mail is built to use a different former WebDAV protocol; DeltaSync protocol allows the synchronization of e-mail folders, contacts, and calendars between client and server.

You may be able to download the installer for Windows Live Mail 2011 of this page: How to install Windows Essentials while offline? Do not try to include Windows Live Writer or Messenger in the installation; None of them will work and you can gum up toward the top of the entire installation Essentials if you do. It may be better to stick to one mail at first. Windows Live Mail 2011 is the latest version which runs on Vista.
