timestamp bad test report

I have a couple of test systems running teststand 4.2 where tests are run the report date and time will not compared to the file creation date and time. It may be "" as little as a few minutes or up to one day. Someone else knows it? Any ideas?

Ski-

When you say it's further and further, could you elaborate on that? The same time to WEAR it first or are they different of UUT first but not correct? If the latter, how far is the time with each USE successive? It's the same interval difference or the difference of the interval are growing with each USE successive?

If the times are the same as the first object to be measured, you probably use to a known, documented in the KB below problem:

Why the time of the DUT report header field remains Constant for multiple DUT when generating X...

The problem described above mentioned that kb is set in 2010 TestStand. I hope this helps.

  • Skip test report and timestamp

    Hello, all the

I am new to teststand and just starting to do some work with teststand.

My interest is to report each step with the data start with a time stamp.

I create subtest in the property of digital type in report d'YYYY-MM-DD-HH-mm-ss as timestamp

These lower level are at the pre-trial stage and pre and post steps get timestamp at the beginning and

post step I get a timestamp at the ens of step.

Training of thing pretty well until I have to report a jumping event.

A step jump does not work so a steps before and after report a timestamp as 00000000000000.
How more to come this problem since I want to skip test report as it is exactly the same thing with 'Not Normal'

is it possible to have a theses f (x) and f (x) at the beginning and the end of the stage of course type

must be run even that step is skipped

    Thank you

  • How can I include results of a subsequence, which takes place in a new thread in the test report from the main sequence

    Hello!

I have ", working with the Version 4.2.1 of TestStand. I have a main sequence, which sous-séquences of different calkls. All these steps are reported correctly. One of the subsequences works like "new thread". How can I include his results in the common test report of the main sequence?

I have variable markes of the subsequence as is required for the test report (it works OK if it's not a new thread). If the digital test, which is performed in this subsequence is correct, I get no results at all. If the digital test could not get a "message in red" who whithout having failed to test any reference to step somewhere in the report of the main sequence or values of vaiables that were not correct.

I tried an option 'on the fly' in the Configuration of the report, but n ' got no useful result. What should I do?

    Best regards

    Hello Pericles,

You can use a queue time for the results of the wire once it ends. Place a waiting time after the call to the thread in your MainSequence at the location where you want the results to add to the report (compared to other results). In the waiting step Setup tab, select wait: Thread the threaded sequence, and then select call to specify sequence call the radio button. You can also use an object reference if you need results if poster somewhere where elsewhere - you would just add an object reference to the appeal of sequence threaded in its thread settings dialog box.

    I hope this helps.

  • Why additional results stage does not meet the test report

I have a file of sequence with several subsequences and I can't using step of additional results. I use the step of additional results in a subsequence and the specified results are added to the report test, but when I use the additional results stage on the main sequence, that nothing is added to the test report.

There that something is off on the main sequence, which prevents additional results to add to the test report? I use the sequential model.

The problem seems to be that the Locals.ResultList variable has been removed from your sequence. No results can be entered only if this variable exists.

  • Test report reminder settings

    Hello

In the test reminder report I am tempted to call a sous-suite which will create a custom (in addition to the default report) report.  The problem I encounter is most of the information for the custom report is located in "MainSequence.Locals."  Is there a method to pass variables via 'TestReport.Parameter' or find it using the RunState stack?

    Thank you!

I don't think you can access the inhabitants of your performance filled with MainSequence - they are ignored when the MainSequence returns the entry point of recall process model MainSequence. Assuming you are using the recall of test report in your test sequence file, if you moved/copied information to the FileGlobals of your test sequence file before leaving the MainSequence, then the recall of test report in your test sequence file could see them.

    Hope this helps

  • Can print wireless test report, but nothing else will print

Hi, when I go to the IP Address of my printer and go to the part of wireless configuration, I can print the wireless test report. However, when I then go to print anything else from my computer, nothing happens. My computer recognizes the printer, and the installation program went well. He was able to print a page of test before, among other things, the first time that I installed it. Now that I restarted my computer, nothing happens when I try to print. Help?

    Hello

When I run the script open (for load tests) reports are get generated in < Repo > / ScriptName/results/< Session > and it contains all the necessary information.

Publient1) but when I ran the same load test reports are not saved @ the above mentioned location. I searched all directories, it seems that the reports are not saved to the local file system.

Issue2) also., when I executed the command line load test with '-localFile = < Filename > .htm ' option, the file is not generated. Here's my syntex:

  • Test reports

    Hello!

I would like to test some of my printing reports.

But if I use a standard way of reporting, it takes a lot of time (go through a very long work).
So, as far as I know, to generate the report, I have to create a business object.
Then create an integration object that is based on the business object.
And then create a report, completed by the data of the object of the integration.

Is it possible to create an applet with two input fields (name of State) and row_id of the business of the business object parent component and a "Generate report" button that does it all?
What is a standard approach for test reports?
How do you test reports in your environment?

    Thank you!

    OK I understand.
Well that's just a guess (haven't tried): you can use the Siebel EAI adapter (request method) to receive the desired data in the simulator of Business Service. Specify the IO BEEP and the data object Id you want to with the request. Then, save the XML output file to a file and use it as an example of XML for BEEP in word.
But I don't know if it works well!

  • Update the dialog box to the test report Option programmatically OR 4.2.1

    Hello

I would like to know, what is the procedure to modify customize the dialog window Option with the default custom report before displaying the window of the user.

We write our own process model to customize the report options, option of database and module management of test users. I'm unable to update dialog with the changed settings.

    Please help me.

I followed the instructions mentioned in the link http://forums.ni.com/t5/NI-TestStand/Programmatically-change-station-option-in-TestStand-2-0-1/td-p/...

But it's customization for the single sequence and also isn't updated report Options dialog window. Please find the screenshot I want to customize.

    Hello

The screenshoot that you posted is done my CVI - modelsupport2.dll with the DisplayReportOptionsDialogEx function.

side code is there a ReadReportOptionDefaultsEx (this feature also will be used in sequence model "Get the report Options")

    It will read "TestStandModelReportOptions.ini".

    So, there are 2 solutions.

1.) ReadReportOptionDefaultsEx of change (not recommend because that change things of OR is bad, by chaninging, you are in charge off)

2.) just to edit the ini file for your needs.

    Hope this helps

  • Apple Hardware Test reports error message

If you want history, scroll to the bottom. Here's the short version: Apple Hardware Test indicates error 4SNS/1/40000001:VeAS-0.000

This page handy tells my that '4SNS' = a sensor problem. 'V' indicates that it is a voltage sensor; and 'e' is short for PCIe. There is nothing on AS - 0, 000 but I'll allow myself that it could indicate the location PCIe 0, i.e. the bottom, 16 channels gpu 'main' slot. If anyone can confirm or correct this assumption, that would be sweet.

Most important: how serious a mistake it is? I have a Radeon HD 7970 GHz 3 GB edition. I'm he put at risk by continuing to use it? I plan to play a lot more, some on El Capitan, but more on Windows, where I can experiment with overclocking my already factory overclocked GPU. It doesn't seem to be a problem in terms of overclocking software is. Reports of tension, times and speeds of fan exactly as expected.

And the main reason I upgraded from my great MacPro1 OG, 1 to a 4.1 is because I intend to upgrade GHz W3520 2.66 in the 4.1 to a 3.46 GHz W3690. With the upgrade of the processor, I had planned to keep this box for several years. This error indicates that this particular Mac Pro is less great, or maybe even a lemon?

The seller is apologetic and will accept a return. Which will cost me $40. I would stay there or is it really not a problem. It was really a lot...

As you stock up on for Apple hardware Test error messages are very cryptic and not really documented.

I don't know of anyway to know if it's a "fatal" flaw

  • FrontEndCallbacks sequence on the launch of TS test report

We have two configured systems, in theory, the same. We started to view the report for test FrontEndCallbacks.seq at startup. Not sure what happened to cause this but we have to stop this behavior before delivering the system. Any ideas what may have caused this and, more importantly, how to stop it?

    Thank you!

It is a full on the report or is - it just that he performed.  There is a difference.  Find it me hard to believe that you would get a report HTML or XML from the Front End Callback.

If you go into the Options of Station on this machine and make sure on the execution tab this Trace in reminders run separate is disabled and also this Trace in the ports of entry is disabled.

    Hope this helps,

  • BatchModel - 10 loops and save the test report after each complete loop

    Hello everyone,

We are using TestStand 2010 and currently using the BatchModel.seq for a quantity of 4 four DUT in a configuration of Burn-In.  Ten 10 times in a loop sequence of customer.  I wonder if there is a way to save the test at the end of each loop data report and create a new one for each of the loops after that.  Is this possible or I asking me too many software TestStand?  Thanks in advance for your responses to this last post.

    Kind regards

    Scott

    Hi Doug,.

    Thanks for the reply.

I will discuss with my colleague who had a hand in the development of this customer file.  This customer file has been developed mainly by a contractor who works for our client.  These sound options as they will do the trick.  The customer file is used to Burn-In, so there are three levels of testing at three different temperature levels.  We strive to find some possible bugs in the code to that contractor that blocks the client file and all data is lost.  This will at least give us some options of data collection in a way that we should not worry if there is an error during the process and at least keep some data.  Thank you for your reply and if there is anything else, with that we have trouble, I'll post again.

    Kind regards

  • Several numerical limit hide the exits "Unused" in the test report

    Hello

I have a question about several limit test digital and output report in ascii txt format:

Example of a measure, that's what I see in the txt file:

    Measure [74]:
    Limits:
    Low: 4.75
    Top: 5.25
    LowExpr: "
    HighExpr: "
    Units: V
    Comparison type: FROZEN (> =)<>
    CompExpr: "
    UseCompExpr: false
    Data: 5
    Status: passed

Is there anyway I can hide or "understand" the unused portion of the output?  In this case I have LowExpr, HighExpr, CompExpr and UseCompExpr.  It will be cleaner and easier to navigate... basically this report:

    Measure [74]:
    Limits:
    Low: 4.75
    Top: 5.25
    Units: V
    Comparison type: FROZEN (> =)<>
    Data: 5
    Status: passed

    Kind regards

    Mike

You're probably missing an indicator which is supposed to be there for some properties (i.e. PropFlags_DontCopyToResults). I don't see enough detail in your screen to see why this is happening, but if you enlarge the column in the middle or mailed this that all expressions are you using, I might be able to see what is happening. You can manually / programmatically readd this indicator for some properties, but it should really be configured by default on the expr properties already so I don't know why it isn't in your use case. The steptype sets the flag when running on the LowLimit and HighLimit are used as necessary for the case in which only one or no limit. It is generally expected the flag already set the other properties in need at the time of publishing.

You can view the source code at:

    TestStand\Components\StepTypes\CommonSubsteps\

to see how the type of step limit multinumeric sets the flag.

    Hope this helps,

    -Doug
