Incorrect fonts after LabView installation on new computer

I just got a new computer and installed LabView 2010 (same version as on my old computer).

On the new computer, it seems that all the fonts, on the front panels and block diagrams, are too big. See the attached images of VI even open on both computers. My old computer is running Windows XP and the new Windows 7 computer.

What could be? It would be a lot of work for me to manually fix the fonts.

If you don't set a specific font for your group, the "application font" used by LabVIEW is all that is defined for the windows theme.

Obviously, the two machines stand out here.

I agree that the fonts are one of the weakest points of LabVIEW, so if you feel the same way, voting for a few related ideas:

  • install after effect in a new computer

    Hello

I buy software adobe after effect and after that I bought a new computer. How to move the effect on the new computer?

You don't move from one machine to the other Adobe applications, you must install it on the new machine in the same way you did on the first machine.  Your license allows you to have two machines with active facilities, so if you want, you can keep the first machine as a backup.  If you do not want a backup installation then you can turn it off by opening a program and choosing disable in the menu help.

  • Download of old Adobe Font Folio without disk drive (new computer)?

I bought Adobe do Folio a couple of years and installed on my computer. This computer is dead, and now my new computer doesn't have a hard drive. I tried to register the product with Adobe using my serial number (I still have the box and everything), but doing so does me no other options (see photo below).

    Capture.JPG

Please tell me how I can access the fonts I bought at Adobe! It's super frustrating!

Given the nature of the product, a disk full of police files and that it doesn't have a motor serial number Installer, we do not provide direct access to a download of the contents of Font Folio.

Assuming you have the original optical media and access to a computer with an optical drive and a USB key, on such a system, you can simply copy the contents of the optical media in the USB key and then use the USB as disk of Font Folio.

If not, call customer support Adobe (not Technical Support) and explain your situation to them. They might be able to arrange for a single download of all the contents of the Font Folio.

  • Adobe Photoshop elements 13 installation on new computer

This is probably a question of simple-stupid, but I sure need help... I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 drive several years ago and upgraded to Adobe Photoshop elements 13 in 2014 by downloading the upgrade from the Adobe site.  Now, I bought a new computer and want to install Adobe Photoshop elements 13.  I accessed my account on Adobe and downloaded the 2 files.  When I try to run the downloaded files, I get an error that the files of archive are missing.  It dawned on me that I have to install the OLD Elements 8 records first, before downloading the upgrade of 13 elements, perhaps?  That's what I have to do, or is there another question?  Thank you in advance for any help!

If your program is Photoshop Elements, you posted in the wrong forum. Some how your son got posted in the Forum Adobe Premiere elements (video editing). Please re-post your thread in the Forum of Adobe Photoshop elements to take advantage of the expertise, it. Photoshop Elements

Here's my view on this situation you describe.

Photoshop Elements 8 and 13 are produced autonomous and each should have a number of different order.

If you went to the 'my orders' of Adobe and number of order and meetings for Photoshop elements 13, then you should have the installation of Photoshop elements 13 files.

You have bought for Photoshop elements 13 serial number? This is a must have.

As a general rule, 2 installation files that are compatible with your operating system... you download files of 64 bits for 64-bit computers.

Then, you want the two files with the .exe file extension (which is required to extract the files in the other .7z file, which is the program. After they are downloaded on the computer (computer desktop for example), you first double-click the .exe and follow the instructions from there.

Please consider and clarify where the above does not match what has happened to you.

If you cannot get the files from 'My orders' Adobe for some reason but still have purchased 13 serial number, you can use the obtained from 13 installation files

    Hi chubuk7,

When the printer stops printing, instead of uninstalling/reinstalling, I recommend to run printing HP and doctor Scan. It's a quick and easy tool that diagnoses and solves many problems of printing, scanning and connectivity. Click on the link below for more details:

  • C3180 installation on new computer Windows 8

I bought a new computer Windows 8 two weeks ago and was offered a wireless all in one printer to a competitor for $19. I couldn't turn that down, but now that the chaos of implementing a new p/c and learning a new operating system is installed, I want to connect my C3180 I used on my XP machine.  I don't want any more surprises!  What should I do?  It just will install itself when I plug in the USB cable, or I'll have to download the drivers, or something equivalent to a Windows 8 install disc?  I was wondering what to expect.  I don't want any more smileyvery-happy stress:

    Thank you.  He got operational.

Another question.  I looked everywhere in the center of need, but I can't find a way to change the destination for my scans folder.  Are there?

Update: stop the search! I found it

I had to take new shortcuts for each type of analysis I.  I thought that was rather complicated.  I want just all my scans to go in a folder of my choice.

  • Cannot open my catalog after transfer to the new computer

I use 7 components on the computer that is running Windows XP. At about 5000 photos in my catalogue - all the tag and captioned.

Am in the process of moving to the new computer with Windows 7, 64-bit version. Used original disc to load Elements 7 on the new machine and organizing elements opens OK, but with just a white Notepad - and all tags are missing.

I used Windows Easy Transfer to move all the files and settings to the new machine.

The catalog seems to have been transferred and help items > Information System shows that it is located in the - who he is, according to Windows Explorer.

    C:\ProgrammeData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\Catalogs\My catalog

But I could find no way to do items to connect to that file and open it like "My catalog" on the new machine. Would be catastrophic to see that I have to re tag and caption all of these photos. Probably impossible.

Have tried all the options in the drop down for the catalog file.

Have had different opinions on Elements 7 can be used with Windows 7 64 bit - some say it's OK, others say not. If it is open as it did in XP - just does not detect the catalog.

    Any ideas please?

OK, so you move the catalog.pse7db to the new computer, as well as anything else that seems to be linked to this folder (for example the subfolders).

Put it all on the new computer somewhere (any, any). If your photos are in the exact same on the new computer as they were on the old computer, you are finished. Just double-click on the file catalog.pse7db. If your photos are not in the same EXACT spot on the new computer, they were on the old computer, then use Windows to move them to this location.

  • Replace the cookies all blocked after the installation of new

When Firefox recently stopped working (would not not connect to the Internet), I first uninstalled Firefox. Then, I downloaded a new copy from the Internet (same version) and reinstalled from scratch. However, all my "blocked" cookies are now missing.
I have the complete list (blocked cookies) in MSWord, in case something like this happened, but I don't know how reasonably the entire list again enter the new copy of Firefox, at one time other than very tedious.
    Any help will be appreciated.

It seems that at some point in the process, you used the reset button.

Your old blocks of cookie in-situ are in a database file named permissions.sqlite the folder on your desktop. It contains a range of other specific permissions and settings (I don't remember all the details off the top of my head), so if you allowed plugins for specific sites, which would also be there.

You can replace your new database (usually white) with the old and see how it goes. If the transplant fails, you can remove the database and Firefox will start to build a new one.

If you want to try it, you can open your currently active profile folder using

Help > troubleshooting information > in the first table file display button

After the release of Firefox, you can rename your current permissions.sqlite to something like permissions.old.

Then copy the permissions.sqlite from your old profile to your desktop folder in your new.

After Firefox starts again, check your Exceptions dialog box. Success?

  • Problems accessing the HP Recovery Manager after the installation of new copy of Windows 7.

I have the HP Pavilion dv6 (2043us) originally with Windows 7 Home Premium. A recent storm crossed in my area, which seems to me to be the cause of a corrupt hard drive file that prevented Windows startup. My extra fathers using copy of Windows 7 Ultimate (is a prominent IT guy for his company, he has a lot to lose) I decided to install it from that rather than using the HP Recovery Manager in order to save my files (Windows Startup Repair and system restore failed, and to restore the default factory was not desirable) as I mentioned it because of my desire to save my documents) I have installed on the same partition as the original windows, allowing files to be viewed in Windows.old.

However, after all that, I came to the will to restore the default settings. However, after you press (esc) and (f11) to access the Recovery Manager, it is bring up the Windows Startup logo and the login screen. Is it possible to access the Recovery Manager and restore the default settings? If so, how should I do this? As I said, I left all the original parts intact, so I do not think it is possible after some research, but I'm not sure how to start the process.

This method to get the active recovery partition was first introduced to me by Cheryl here on the site. It may or may not work.

Right-click on computer and click Manage > search in the list on the left, and then open disk management. You should see the recovery partition it. Click right and whether it is active and the next time that you start it up, it should boot into the recovery partition and restore back to the factory.
