Tips PDF - Windows Terminal Server, Adobe Documents?

Hello

I'm looking for some advice.

We provide managed servers hosted for medium-sized companies and for years using Adobe for the creation, manipulation and visualization of PDF files

However, given that all these servers are running the Terminal Services we find that the screen and scroll speed of any document that we publish with Adobe to be very is slow.

We can understand why this happens, due to the fact that unlike other documents the document background scrolls and moves as it would for another image, but not all PDF products suffer so badly

I reduced the default resolution of any created pdf and it made a significant improvement, but this does not solve the problem of documents created elsewhere.

I tried other pdf products and they do not seem to suffer as badly as Adobe in this Department. We do not want to stop using Adobe so I hope I can get some advice to improve this situation.

Which version of Windows Server, OS and Acrobat version are you running? Have you tried Acrobat 9 - earlier versions rendered badly on the use of resolution 8 bits on a WTS.

You'll want to double check the EULA but its WTS use is permitted as long as you have licenses for all your users as you mention (but not simultaneous).

  • The terminal server Adobe Acrobat issue update

At this moment we have a problem where everyone is custody get invited to update adobe. We have a lot of users on the server terminal server. When we turn this option off, it is on a per user basis not system-wide. So, I've been looking in the wizard of custimaztion and tested remove this feautre to redeploy the. Is it possible we can manually update adobe if we get out of the update feature? Or are there other options to make this large system users are not prompted or restart the server.

Yes. Update preferences only control what appears in the user interface and how many times an update check occurs. Directors of the company more to disable the update so they can control what version is installed within their organization.

You should get the Administrator's Guide and the AIM app so you can discover the range of configuration possibilities.

These related to the mrxsmb10.sys Longhorn SMB SubRdr of corruption returned memory cause of Microsoft Corporation.  Please run the Driver Verifier to find the underlying cause (my guess is the dne64x.sys of your (your dated 2008) cisco vpn)

Please run this test to find out which driver is causing the problem.

If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.

  • Windows XP SP3 on Terminal Server 2008 print

    Hi guys,.

    Environment

    Windows Pro SP3

    Windows Terminal Server 2008

With the help of Easy Print

    Error:

Windows presentation foundation terminal server print w has encountered

    Tried solutions:

I've updated. NETFramework 3.0 with SP and above versions.

Tried swapping the TsWpfWrp.exe with that of a Windows 7 machine (it worked on other machines with the same question within the domain).

MS ran patch to cause XPS

Not a printer issue as another user in the same environment can print to this printer. The two seem to be the same configuration.

    RDP Client 6.1 installed.

    Resolution:

The only resolution I can find is to uninstall SP3. Then works fine. Anyone got any ideas? Let me know if you need more information.

    Kind regards

I came across this before. For me it turned out that I had a driver locally on the computer that worked for one and a generic driver on the other computer. Check the drivers installed and make sure you have the 64-bit and 32-bit installed on the server.

  • VSphere client on a server running terminal server

Salvation; I think to offer vSphere Client access to some customers who wish to access a virtual computer a complete console.

Someone at - configure a server terminal server (win2008 R2) and published the customer, so that the user can launch the vSphere client and access their virtual machine?

As I read about it, it seems that a requirement is to have 6 Client RDP, which leaves the linux and Mac users, am I correct?
Are there problems with it? In executing vCenter 4.1 at the moment, but will switch to the v5 this year.

I tried to find some information about it, but can't find much.

We provide the client vSphere (version 4.x and 5.0) on the servers Windows Terminal Server (Windows 2003 with Citrix XenApp 5.0) and it works flawlessy.

Tested with all sorts of Citrix ICA clients, but also via RDP (including the old version of 5.1 client built into Windows XP).

I never tested the RDP clients non - Windows, but I don't really expect any problems with them.

Is it possible that I might have to upgrade my windows 7 in order to get good conversions of PDF files in word files?

No, it won't be linked to your version of Windows. Probably, you wait too long. Conversion cannot be perfect except for the files very easy.

  • Windows Server 2003 (64-bit), Terminal Server has 2 mouse pointers when you connect via RDP

I recently reinstalled one of our Terminal Server Windows Server 2003 (64-bit) servers.
When you connect via RDP, I get 2 mouse pointers. One seems to be the pointer to the session that changes of hourglass, etc... and the pointer remains under the arrow.

I have all the updates that are installed.
There is no options on the RDP settings like what I use on other RDP to the other Terminal server sessions and is not on any other I RDP server on my client.

I connected as other RDP clients and get with the same problem, is not a customer number
Is there a setting on the server to disable this option?

How can I remove the pointer that does not change in the session?
