  I installed a program that worked on Windows 7 before and he was met by security and everything. Now, whenever I try to open it, the computer refuse me access to use the program. I tried to reinstall the program, temporarily disabled the user access control, tried to repair by using the uninstall/change form and even used the system on my computer restore whole (twice in fact).   I tried to create a file on the desktop using CreateFile Win32 API from an Adobe Reader plugin on 64 bit Windows 7 computer. It works fine on the XP machine. But, when I tried to run it on a Windows - 7 6-bit machine, it gives access denied error.

  When I tried to do this in a standalone application, it works fine.

  Can someone help me what goes wrong here.

  You are mistaken with #2 - this isn't protected mode. Search in the

  documentation for 'protected mode' and 'sandbox' Leonard suggested.

  I have a Server 2003 running Terminal Server and the client computer is Windows 7. I want to start the session rdp on both screens, but it did not work. I went to a few articles and done the following on the client computer:

  1. run mstsc/span
  2. in the RDP properties > allow all monitors
  3. use multimon: 1 in the rdp file

  This didn't work so I'm looking for help to solve this problem.

  Have you tried to use a distinct and 3rd party FTP client? If you can successfully connect and download to aid what he would suggest process FTP of Dreamweaver is messed up. And unfortunately, this is not surprising as it may seem, it is a part of Dreamweaver, I can meet quite regularly problems with. You can try to play with the site settings by using the Advanced Options tab, which will provide you with some additional settings for the FTP and see if that helps.   I had a search on the forums and I don't see anyone with the same problem so I apologize if this has been asked before.

  I need to connect a database to a Web site so that members can register and save it to some pages (not all pages - only a 'members only' section).

  I created the database, tested and it works very well (I used XAMMP/PHPmyAdmin).

  In DreamWeaver CS6, I chose the type of document from the page (PHP) and set up the testing server. If I go to site Configuration > server for the site and click on test, it connects successfully. Note that the test server is hosted at the University, that I work - there is a password required, but I entered it on the test set up server and it seems connects very well, as I get the message successfully at this stage.

  When I go to connect the mySQL connection and select the database I get the error "access is denied. The file exists may not, or there could be a permission problem. Make sure you have permission on the server and the server is properly configured. »

  Any ideas? It's driving me crazy!

  I understand that after several unsuccessful searches on Google, so I post the solution here for someone else with the same question that could end up here.

  If you configure your test server in the inetpub/wwwroot/folder then Dreamweaver cannot make changes (such as adding files) unless you are running as an administrator, so it occurred to me that maybe the database connections are also affected.  Of course, as soon as I leave Dreamweaver and restarted as an administrator, I was able to connect to the MySQL database using the databases Panel.  If you don't know how to run a program as an administrator, it is pretty easy: just right click on Dreamweaver icon and select "Run As Administrator" when you start the program.  There are a lot of tutorials out there that can give you the necessary steps for always loads a program as an administrator if you don't do right click every time.

  Which version of Windows Server, OS and Acrobat version are you running? Have you tried Acrobat 9 - earlier versions rendered badly on the use of resolution 8 bits on a WTS.

  You'll want to double check the EULA but its WTS use is permitted as long as you have licenses for all your users as you mention (but not simultaneous).
