Title, meta tags for SEO, where to put in code... ?

Hi guys

Im trying to optimize my first site ever and Im do in dreamweaver. Ive understood the title and meta tags are html and wondering just where to find in my html code should I put them...?

They are before the body tag... ? They are before my first div tag in the code... ?

They are in a specific DIV, for example header div = tag title, meta tags = main content div... ?

Any help would be great

Cheers :-)

meta-description and meta keywords go in the head section of your page. Before the closing tag. The title is just the title of the page. This goes in the head so section. If you use DW, there is a place in the toolbar to type the title as well. By using the words in the right titles and meta-information is key for SEO.

  • Best practices for the implementation of META tags for content items?

    Hello
The portal site, I am responsible for the management of our content (www.sers.state.pa.us) runs on the following WebCenter products:

    WebCenter Interaction 10.3.0.1
    WebCenter Publisher 6.5
    WebCenter Studio 2.2 MP1
    10gR 3 content services

The I work for the Agency is one of many for the commonwealth of PA, who use this product suite, and I meet some confusion on how to implement META tags for content of our site, so we can have effective search results. According to the [explanation of META tag standards W3C website | http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_meta.asp], description tags, keywords, etc., should be between the cephalic region of the HTML document. However, with the configuration of the suite WebCenter is implemented, how the head section of the HTML is closed at the end of the model code to a common header portlet. I was advised to add fields to our entry presentation models and data for the content to add these meta fields, however, since they are then placed in the body section of the HTML accordingly, these tags fail to have a positive impact on search results. Instead, a lot of our content points, when searched, the description in the search results displays only the text that appears in the header and the left navigation of our model, which arrived earlier in the body section of the HTML.

Please advise possible or methods that would be best to implement the use of META tags so that we can our pages containing content to come to the top in the search results with relevant data.

    Thanks in advance,
    Brian

Basically, you want to add tags portals in the presentation model to move the meta tags of the element of the header of the actual document content. Check out http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13158_01/alui/wci/docs103/devguide/apidocs/tagdocs/common/includeinhead.html

  • Title and Meta tags for product display?

I see this problem correctly?   There is no way to add descriptions of title and metatag to each product pages?   If true, this is a major flaw of SEO in British Colombia.

I went to the module templates and regular templates and do not see a way to add specific to each product page.  This should be done by default!

When you add the meta in the layout produced great will in the thead element.

For example, you can use tags such as custom1 for your meta description and title of product for the title of the page.

    Fact

BC has recently updated the Blog finally with possibility to have the right title and meta so I hope that products will get some treatment in this respect too.

  • 4 AnyConnect as 802. 1 x begging replacement for Windows - where to put the configuration xml file?

I want to try Anyconnect NAM as a 802. 1 x replacement begging in point 8.1 of Windows
And I made myself a small config xml fine file I want to test.
But where do I put this config file?
I should rename it to something special or Anyconnect NAM have some additional startup parameters?

    Thank you.

The file must be called "configuration.xml" and if you already installed NAM, then place the file in \Users\All Users\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Access Manager\newConfigfiles\ Client\Network and restart the service anyconnect

If instead you are creating a package for deployment, you can put configuration in a directory named profiles/NAM/so that the msi installation package will import the config itself.when you run the msi file.

  • Where to put the code?

    Hi all

I use anchors in flash, and they work fine. I can add an anchor to a URL and it'll jump to the right frame in a flash document, no problem.

Apparently (according to Ned), the problem is that other functions will stop work if I put the code on frame1 example but go to frame5 with an anchor point.

I thought that a function on frame1 would be accessible anywhere on the timeline. Is this correct? If this is not the case, how a global function?

    Thanks for any ideas

If you have an additional keyframe, simply remove by using SHIFT + F5.

That said, when I try to click on a link to the file swf, but with a different anchor point, the link does not work unless I navigate away to another swf file, then return. It seems that he thinks that it is already in the right place or just don't know the link.

    Yes, it's another matter.

  • Add tags for the documents tool put an object behind the other or just the contents of page deletions?

Using Acrobat Pro XI to make PDF documents compatible 508. I had a number of questions went using Add Tags to the document option, it is one object behind the other or remove them all together. Also had problems when you try to adjust the reading direction, content is moved or deleted. This PDF file is created from InDesing CS5

Someone knows what I'm talking about or have any ideas on how to fix it? Thank you

Content should always be deleted by adding tags, but it can appear so because - as you note - objects can hide behind other objects. In theory, you can bring out them of hiding to rearrange things in the part of the order, but I have much more luck using the content pane - it provides a level of much finer control. If the text is hidden behind a shaded box, for example, I'll move the box over the text in the content order, then usually convert the box to an artifact if it is already.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello

You can enter the metadata for you information site using the Page-> Page-> section properties Metadata as shown in this video: http://jingsite.businesscatalyst.com/jing/2013-10-18_2258.swf

You will need to do this for all the pages one by one, which is good for SEO purposes as it is good to have unique metadata for each page of the site.

    I hope this helps.

  • Best practices for placing < meta > tags of the document HEAD

    Good afternoon

We use the ability of Oracle UCM to dynamically generate pages based on page templates, model region and data files of contributor contributors can edit and publish. We have a specific need to include meta tags in the head section of each page that are customized for the data present in each contributor data file. Including meta tags in the model of the region that relates to a section of our site Web do not work, because it does not include a < head > section. Otherwise, I can't put metatags in the page template, since the data contained in each meta tag are specific to the metadata surrounding each contributor of the data file.

My question is this: is there a best practice, or Oracle-taking method in charge of this task? I believe he remains the path to get there, as is a very common need for meta tags for search engines and social media sites.

  • Where to put the java code - best practices

Hello. I work with the Jdeveloper 11.2.2. I'm trying to understand the best practices for where to put the code. After reviewing the http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E26098_01/web.1112/e16182.pdf, it seemed that request module was the preferred location (although many examples in the pdf file reside in the main methods). After some time of coding, if, I noticed that there was a certain libraries imported and wondered if this would impact performance.

I looked at the articles published on the forum, in particular Re: programmatically access the method of service (customer interface) . This link mentions for access to the code a bean of support - and the bulk of the recommendations seem to be using the data control to drag to the Joint Strike Fighter, or use the links to access code.

My interest lies in where to put the java code in the first place; In the view object, entity object, and... other Am, backing bean object?

I can describe several guess better know where to put the code and the advantages and disadvantages:

    1. in the application module
Benefits: Central location for code makes development and support easier as there are not multiple access points. Kinda like a data control centralizes the services, the module of the application can act as a conduit for the different parts of the code you have in your model objects.
Cons: Everything in one place means that the module of the application becomes bloated. I don't know how the memory works in java - if the app module has tons of different libraries are all called when even a method of re - run a simple query is called? Memory of pigs?

    2. write the code in the objects it affects. If you write code that accesses a view object, write it to a display object. Then make it visible for the customer.
benefits: the code is accessible through ducts less (for example, I expect that if you call the module from the application of a JSF backing bean, then the module of the application calls the view object, you have three different pieces of code-)
CONT: the code gets spread, more difficult to locate etc.

I would greatly appreciate your thought on the issue.

First point here is when you say 'where to put the code of java' and you're referring to ADF BC, the point is that you put 'code of java business logic' in the ADF business components. Of course it is very good to have the Java code in the ViewController layer that covers the user interface layer. Just don't put the business logic in the user interface layer and don't put no logical user interface in the model layer. In your 2 examples you seem to consider the ADF BC layer only, so I'll assume that you're not only serious logic java code.

Meanwhile, I'm not keen on best practices in the term that people are following best practices without thinking, usually best practices come with conditions and forget to apply. Fortunately you do not here that you have thought through the pros and cons of each (nice work).

Anyway, back on topic and turn off my soap box, regarding where to put your code, my thoughts:

    (1) If you have only 1 or 2 methods set in the AppModuleImpl

    (2) If you have hundreds of methods, or there is that a chance #1 above will turn into #2, divide the code between the AppModuleImpl, the ViewImpl and the ViewRowImpls. Why? Because your AM will become overloaded with hundreds of methods making it unreadable. Put the code where it should logically go instead. Methods that operate on a specific line of VO Approfondissez partner ViewRowImpl, methods that work across lines in a VO enter the ViewImpl and methods that work throughout your in the associated AppModuleImpl.

To be honest that you never the option you choose, one thing I recommend as a best practice is to be consistent and document standard so not know your other programmers.

BTW, it is not a question about loading a lot of libraries/imports in a class, it has no performance cost. However if your methods require a lot of class variables, then yes there will be a memory of the costs.

On a side note, if you are interested in more ideas on how to create ADF applications properly think about joining the EMG "ADF", a forum which deals with ADF architecture, best practices (cough), deployment architectures free online and more.

    Kind regards

    CM.

  • Form delimited ADF task flows where to put setNamedWhereClauseParam

    Hello

I use jdeveloper 11g and I am trying to set up a stubborn workflow (type of train), station a theres a search ADF form where the user selects a record, at the station two form should present all the options related to the selected record on the station one and the possibility of introducing new information. I have the ViewObject for station 2, but I don't know where to put the code for "setNamedWhereClauseParam" and then run the query. Or in other words, how to pass the value of the key selected on station 1 station 2 as the parameter at the request of VO?

    Thank you

    Mike.

    Hello

trains allow you to navigate between pages. So if there is a dependency between page1 and page2, where page 2 must have 1 page visited, so I think you should alow direct access to page 2. To answer your question

-Create a file IMPL for the ViewObject to filter by the ViewCriteria
-Create a public method that takes the input parameters required for bind variables
-in the VOImpl define the VC and the bind varoables
    -run the VO
-Create a public method (still on the VO2) ClientInterface
-1 page write the parameters of the selected query in #{requestScope.param1},...
-Drag and drop the client method as a method between page1 and page2 so the query call activity is performed
-On the arguments to the method, use #{requestScope.param1} to read the search criteria in

  • Where to put my custom formatting does not control tips?

Who, who know or have experience with it:

Indicators of control provides solutions for possible all formatting needs. For example, I need to display only the last four digits of social security numbers (that is, for "123-45-6789", display ' *-*-6789 "" "). Another column of data table stores the school that YYYYMM, for example, 200902, 2009 is the year and semesters 02 is the month that represents spring (MM can also be 06 and 09 representing summer and autumn). I need to display the half in a more user-friendly way (i.e., for "200902" displays "spring 2009" "). Of course, I can't change the format of data in the table; I seek only to format the display of the data.

I think it takes only a few lines of java code to do these by splitting the string in formatting strings, replace some of them with appropriate new values, and then put back together them. But where to put this code? All documentation covers this topic?

    Newman

You can place this code in the getAttribute method in the EO or VO implementation class.
(Create them via the Java node in the dialog VO or EO).

Here is the script below without the delay. Where I would put the delay code?

    sym.getComposition () .getStage ().getSymbol("Console_Content").getSymbol("console_text"). $("cons_select_text") () .show;

    Any help would be great!

    Thank you

    Hello

    This code does not work: sym.getComposition () .getStage ().getSymbol("Console_Content").getSymbol("console_text"). $("cons_select_text") .delay (1500) .show (1);

You can use setTimeout or setInterval: Object Window

    delay() function {sym.getComposition () .getStage (.getSymbol("Console_Content")..getSymbol("console_text") $("cons_select_text")) .show ();}

    setTimeout (delay, 1500);
