A tech admitted that a new server is entered in questions. But 6weeks and I pay for the service? A tech says it's at my end frustrated, I got another PC, downloaded my MSN dialup and now... I stillHAVE questions about the addition of the computer. The 2 computers are not connected. Stand alones. Telephone lines checked. Audited modems. Microphone seems to keep secrets. And obviously can't solve my problems. Visibly frustrated spendinging 15 hours on the phone, and tired of the Microsoft Music on hold. Should I cancel? Today, same hot mail was. Using Internet Explorer, I get ERROR 500 messages or a web page from Microsoft to the particular address no longer exists. Unable to navigate while using MSN Internet Browser. What in the world that happens to us all the MSN people?

  For about a week, I'm not able to change the brightness on my laptop. Before I used to decrease f2 and f3 to increase the brightness of the screen. I do not know what is is past these commands stopped working, but (f10, f11) volume controls are still working fine now too.

  I contacted the support center hp on this issue they updated the graphics driver and they have updated the bios also but the problem is not resolved.

  When I click on the controls of light I can see the brightness meter icon but it wont increase or decrease when I press f3 or f2, respectively and the brightness meter shows brightness is at the lowest level that it is at the highest level.

  Hey I found the solution for my problem. On my laptop brightness controls do not work because I installed logmein (remote desktop) application that also installs some graphics drivers if you want that the features of the rotation of the screen on my laptop when I access my laptop to remote location. It seems that this driver causing the problem, when I completely uninstalled the app logmein brightness keys still work. For you all similar applications like this can be the cause of the problem. To solve this, go to the device (device type in the start menu Manager) see Manager is related to the applications that you have installed all the drivers are there under the display adapters in the Device Manager window, in the affirmative, uninstall applications completely it may solve your problem too.

  I guess you meant the links when you open photoshop CC. I tested all four videos of the 23 min tutorial and they all played fine. If something between you and adobe does not work correctly.

  • Check that your firewall is blocking the net. Try to access youtube videos and see if they play very well
  • Go to the adobe tv site and try to play one of the videos here. Adobe TV
  • If youtube plays very well and adobe tv does not work, next is to check if you have flash installed. Some videos require flash, others are html 5. Sorry that I could not confirm what player has been used for this tutorial. I think that html 5 but not sure.
  • Next is to look at the properties of your browser and check multimedia settings are not disabled if it y in a. (this is totally dependent on the browser)

  Looks like this error disappeared but now I have the following error:

  I did some research on the forums and I think I need backup and restore, but I'm not sure.

  Here are some questions that I saw others asking in the forums:

  PRIMARY:

  Looks like everything is working, but the error is still appearing in OEM primer.

  The issue ended up being with the control file. I followed of many blog posts on how to roll forward the database before and they all said to restore the control file before you recover the database. I followed this paper: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28294/rman.htm#CIHIAADC and it worked as expected. The old control file has had 6 data files that were in a different place than the others. The new control file, I created the primary had all the files of data in one place. After correcting the control to point to the locations correct datafile all started working again.

  First check if you can successfully tnsping database on the command line. Or you are able to connect Toad, so that when you call Toad, you can see the location of the tnsnames.ora it file use. Just set the parameter TNS_ADMIN at the user level, so that the other application will also use the correct tnsnames.ora file for database name resolution.
