  What antivirus you have installed before? Is the virus/malware-free system? If you have a current antivirus installed and you went through at least some of the malware removal steps I list in the link I have given if you are sure that the system is clean, uninstall McAfee and see if that solves your problem. If you connect to the Internet behind a router, you can be sure for this quick test. If you are connected directly to a cable/dsl modem, then firstly download Avast or even Microsoft Security Essentials (both free). Then, disconnect from the Internet and uninstall McAfee. Install the antivirus of your choice and test. If all goes well, your problems have been caused by McAfee. This is not surprising since McAfee is perhaps the worst choice for safety, we could do.

  If you had any antivirus installed before McAfee, then you must go through all stages of thorough removal of malware listed in the my link before anything else. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

• Use page LOV which has been defined by a dynamic action

  I have a situation where I need to refer to an item hidden in a SQL statement from the list of values (for a drop-down list). It doesn't seem to work properly. Here's what I have:
  
  (1) using a dynamic action, the value of a hidden element, based on the change of select list 1.
  
  (2) select list 2 has a parent element LOV to select list 1 and the Select statement to select list 2 uses the hidden element that has been defined in the dynamic action above.
  
  I see that the dynamic action works properly. But when I change to select list 1, list 2 Select shows not all values in the LOV.
  
  I hope this makes sense. I wonder if the LOV to select list 2 does not work because the element used in the SQL statement has been defined by a dynamic action?

  Since you use a sql query to retrieve a single value, is it necessary to have this value in a field hidden somewhere?
  Could you not change the query for you select second list to limit its results by integrating this query in lov query, for example through an is clause?

• Difficulties to access the pages to implement roles

  We are implementing EBS R12 14 modules. My company currently uses 11.5.4 in warehouse and purchase and 11.5.10 in finance, but we are extending to the entire company to work on the same system. We are currently working on an instance of partially configured system development.
  
  We currently set up roles with the Sys Admin responsibility and security: user: define and apply exceptions and responsibilities if necessary. We are interested in using roles in the future. I read in the Sys Admin Security Guide and several messages on the forums. We mapped what functions and tasks must be performed for the employees, and so I started to penetrate the system and play.
  
  My problem is the following: using the responsibility for the management of the user (UMX), I can access the top of the manage user html page, but when I click Create Role, or attempt to modify the hierarchies or whatever it is, I get an error message indicating that I have not sufficient access to the system.
  
  Any suggestions? I use the wrong responsibility? Anyone would be able to guide me through the creation of a personal responsibility that would have access to these things? I tried to create a liability, but it either runs on the same point as the UMX one done, or gives me an error saying that the responsibility does not have functions that are associated with, or that the menu could not compile correctly.

  You don't mention which account you use to do this - I think you are using your own account. What you'll notice is that if you log on as the SA account and use the responsibility of the management of users, you will be able to succeed :-) In a real situation, the SYSADMIN (being a generic) account is usually locked, so using the SA account is not feasible. You will need to do is connect as that of the SYSADMIN account (this once) and with responsibility for the management of users, given the role of "security administrator" your apps account (assuming that it is one you use). Then log out and log in as yourself and you will see that you will be able to do what you need to do. Unfortunately, this step is not documented very well anywhere AFAIK.   For a few weeks now, I not was able to display images in their entirety on Web sites - they just don't download not entirely or don't load at all.

  I'll also have a lot of problems with the two IE & Mozilla Firefox, when I try to access the sites Web & click for more into Internet sites I constantly get errors & the page does not load until I Ctrl F5 many times.

  You wouldn't believe how many times I have done this for just register on this forum & get to that stage.
  It's like any site that has multiple pages or much info to download is just too much for the two programs?

  An error indicates to the bottom of the lower part of the IE: res://ieframe.dll/dnerror.htm in this case, if this can help.

  I checked the memory etc, all right.
  I have a satellite A300. Hope someone can suggest something.

  I have Zone Alarm firewalls, spies & antivirus software. Have had throughout & its only been in the past weeks I have had this problem?

  Something is interfering with your Internet session.
  Malware is the most common example.

  2.
  Something wrong with your internet connection.
  A bad line ADSL, for example.

• WEP and wireless router to access the page problems

  Our office recently acquired a virus and everything had to be cleared and reloaded on here. Then I thought about what is going on, all the regular parameters for all that would be enabled by default. When I need my WEP key for my laptop and now a console Wii, Office won't let me access the router with the 192.168.x.x settings page in the address bar, so get the wep key.

  I type in the default "admin" value in the user name and password, try to put in place and still does not work. I tried other forms of passwords/user names and have NO idea of what he wants to use me.

  Try to leave the empty user name and "admin" as password (without the quotes).

  Your user settings should be intact and possible even after a re - format PC.

  If it still does not work, reset the router, journal with the information identified above and re configure from scratch.

  Don't post back the updates.

  I just installed Lightroom 5.4 (I use OS 10.10.2), and now I can't access the import page.

  I thought about it. I used 5.4 but installed 5.7.1 so a simple reboot fixed it.

  I am also new to indesign in indesign scripting so bear with me and my lack of termonology. I have page elements that are located in the white space in the document, but outside the page limits. I have access to all page elements that are still partially on the page using the myPage.pageItems. However this collection does not include page elements that are not touch to this page. So is there anyway to access page items in the space outside the page?

  If you have a variable, say, page, it is a particular page, where page.pageItems is all the elements on this page, then page.parent.pageItems will be all the items on the spread, which includes the editing table that surround it.

  I had two modules different twitter (Twitbin and App Twitter). The first was one that I enabled again, because I wanted to see if it has improved for some time. After restarting my browser, however, most of my toolbars have been on different parameters. I managed to get my bookmarks toolbar, showing once again. However, now:
  -I can click on "Customize" under the tools, but the page appears empty (if any)
  -the orange "firefox" button at the top left disappeared
  -menu button (three horizontal lines) disappeared

  In addition, restarting somehow messed up my manager's Session module. It lists my tabs/windows have saved, but they never load.

  I searched everywhere, but have not found any real answers (page customize and SM have been the most frustrating of all this). I completely remove the add-on twitter, I chose not to use, but it changed nothing about how it was.

  The reset Firefox feature can solve a lot of problems in restaurant Firefox to its factory default condition while saving your vital information.

  • Sites Web open is not recorded in less than 25 versions of Firefox.

  To reset Firefox, perform the following steps:

  For Firefox versions prior to 29,0:

  1. Go to Firefox > help > troubleshooting information.
  2. Click on the "Reset Firefox" line

     

     button.

  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is finished, it will display a window with the imported information. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox opens with all the default settings applied.

  For Firefox 29,0 and above:

  1. Click the menu button

     

     click Help

     

     and select troubleshooting information. Now, should open a new tab containing your troubleshooting information.

  2. At the top right of the page, you should see a button that says "Reset Firefox"

     

     . Click on it.
