  I don't know anyway that you can prevent them to enter data in the other settings (except, as you said, for those sql-based).

  There is no reason, however, that you must use the values provide you these parameters. You should be able to structure the SQL behind your report to assess the setting entry (returns would work probably) to use only the values of the parameters B, C and D, if the parameter is set to null.

  OK, for anyone who reads this and has the same problem with CC version of Illustrator, I found align the box grid of pixels.

  In the TRANSFORM Panel, it'S NOT in the drop down... instead, it is grey print at the bottom of the processing area.

  To really see the bottom of the processing area, you must FULLY open by clicking on the <> the arrows that appear to the left of the title word TRANSFORM Panel.

  You may need to do a couple of times to get the fully opened Panel.

  See the bottom of my picture. I see that this could be easily accidentally checked without knowing it's probably what happened.
