How to remove photos from my iphone6s after their importation?

    Hello KConstant,

I understand that you're looking to remove photos from your iPhone, after you import the to your Mac. It depends largely on how the images are imported into your Mac.

If you use iCloud photo library, remove photos from your iPhone, after they have synched to the Photos on your Mac afterwards would remove these photos on your Mac as well, like iCloud photo library is designed to synchronize your iPhone with iCloud and Mac.

However, if you are importing photos via the USB port of the Photos app, you should be prompted to delete pictures from your device once the import is complete:

Once the import is complete, a message asks if you want to delete or keep the photos on your device. Click on remove items to remove photos or click on keep items to keep them on the device.

You can also (it not allowed you iCloud photo library on your iPhone), you can use the image capture on your Mac app to delete images from your iPhone. This can also be useful to remove the last images that have already been imported into the Photos on your Mac. Once you have selected the images you want in the Image Capture, you can click on the prohibitive red symbol () to delete the selected items.

  • How to remove photos from a photo stream on the iPhone, but keep them on Mac?

    Hello world

I tried to find the answer to my question in the FAQ, but so far I've failed. I'd be really grateful if someone could help me.

I have an iPhone (5s) and a MacBook Air (13 inch, early 2015). I have not activated the iCloud photo library, but I use the photo gallery on both devices. Because I often take pictures with my phone, I'm running out of memory space on my phone.

In regards to this and photo stream feature, I have several questions:

    1. If I want to make more room on my iPhone, I have to delete some pictures. Assuming that I do this, these pictures are deleted from my Mac after 30 days?

    2. How can I remove photos from my iPhone without deleting them from my Mac (because I turned on the feature of photo stream)?

    3. If I import the photos from my iPhone in the Photos App on my Mac (when it is connected to my Mac with a USB cable), they are 'safe '?

I hope that my questions are understandable and I would appreciate all the help I can get.

Thanks to all and best wishes,

    Lars

    1. no - as long as you have allowed MyPhotoStream to import photos - if they have not been imported yet then they will be gone

    2. after importation of pictures you can delete them from the iPhone, and they will remain in Photos of the moments / pictures

3 - Yes - but if you import several times, you will have duplicates - you should use USB or PHM import

  • How to remove photos from the iPhone SE

    July 2016

Computer: iMac running OSX 10.11.5 El Capitan

    Phone: iPhone SE

Buy the new iphone SE.  All properly transferred from old phone, via iCloud, but the new phone memory is almost full, and I need to remove about 300 photos.

I plugged the phone on my Mac with the USB cable.  The phone does NOT appear as a disk in the Finder, as said the seller of phone.

I was able to import all the photos to the Mac with picture Capture and preview, so the pictures are safe, but neither app shows a way to remove photos from the phone.

'Image Capture help' and several items of third say there are buttons on the bottom of the screen to Capture of Image for "show thumbnails in a list (list view button) or to see large thumbnails (thumbnail view button), or to turn (rotation) or delete (delete key) images."

    NOT TRUE.

The other buttons appear, but not the button 'delete '.

I used an extract for years, and it does not remove images.

So how to delete photos from my iPhone SE?  Do I have to look at all the pictures of 300 and delete each individually?

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

In BlackBerry Desktop Software, connect the BlackBerry to your computer and turn on mass storage mode.

Click on the pictures on the left side and then right-click on an image and select Show in Explorer.  By doing this, you can select several images and remove several institutions.

  • How to remove photos from sd card w/Win8

I have a Kodak Easyshare camera with an sd card. Although I am able to upload photos with my laptop that came pre-installed with Windows 8 (I HATE WINDOWS 8!), there is no option to remove the pictures from the sd card after downloading. EasyShare software was an option to remove photos from the camera after uploading, however, Kodak has stopped (removed from their site) Easyshare software for downloads, then of course, there is no version of Windows 8, I could download. I have now about 150 photos stored on the sd card in my camera and without option of win8 remove them after downloading, I soon max on the map due to the number of photos I take regularly. In the rush of windows to force this win8 * on users, they have left out many options that should have been included and I am their discovery by a more I use win8 which only increases my extreme dislike for her. How to remove these pictures from my sd card through win8 without having to go out and by an another piece of equipment?

    Oh really?  Where is he?

    Jane,

Jim has provided information that applies to Windows Vista. For Windows 8, it does not work like that. Import via the App Photos Windows does not offer this type of control.

If you go into Control Panel, AutoPlay and select camera memory card, you can change the default to ask me every time. Or open in the file Explorer. File Explorer allows you to manually COPY images, MOVING pictures, or remove the right of the map.

You can try to ask every time for a while. You can let it import, and then reconnect the camera and delete until you find a process with which you are comfortable.

  • How to remove photos from my library?

How to remove photos from my library?

    Hi Alan

Sincerely, I apologize for the delay.  Try this:

After that you be connected to www.adoberevel.com, switch to the view of "Photos & vidéos" (not the display of Albums).

Then click on the Select"" button.  When you do so, you can select one or more photos.

After selecting the pictures you want to remove, see that there is a button 'Delete' in the menu.

    Some additional tips:

To select a group of photos, click the first photo you want to delete, and then press and hold the SHIFT key when you click the last picture you want to delete, and all in between these photos will be selected.

Make sure that you are using the "Photos & videos", because if 'Delete you' images to Albums, you're only to remove them from your album and not really delete your photo library.

How to remove photos from the desktop while maintaining in the Photoshop Elements Organizer?  My office is now crowded with the photos that I can't recycle because they then 'not found."  The image, but not the data is always in the Organizer, but I imagine that it would disappear once I have stop and restart my laptop.  I want to clear my desktop, but keep the photos!

OK, that's a lot of sense.  But I still don't know what I have to do them down the office without losing them.

If you move from your Explorer or finder in a given folder, you will not lose them and they will disappear from your desktop.

If you want to use the Organizer to keep track of your photos in the catalog, use the Organizer, not the Explorer / finder to move them to another folder on the desktop.

    Hi mulatto5o,

I understand that you have synchronized the photos on your iPhone, and now you want to remove them. I know it's important to have control over your data, so I'm happy to provide advice to help with this.

When the photos are synced from your computer to your iPhone, you must use iTunes to delete again. To do this, follow the same steps you did to synchronize, but uncheck the option Synchronize the Photos :

12 iTunes for Windows: Add photos to iPod, iPhone or iPad

    Remove photos from your iPhone

    1. Connect your device to your computer.

    2. Click on the button of the device, and then click pictures.

    3. Uncheck "synchronize photos from".

    4. Click on apply

If these photos are no longer on your computer, or if these steps do not work for you, try the steps here:

Delete pictures and videos synced from iTunes when you can not access the originals - Apple Support

To remove synced photos from a computer which is accessible:

    1. Create a folder on the computer that you now synchronize with and add a single photo in this folder.
    2. On the Photos tab in iTunes, click on the box next to "Sync Photos since.
    3. In the dropdown next to "Sync Photos From" menu, choose the folder that you created in step 1.
    4. Apply the change.
    5. Uncheck "synchronize Photos from".
    6. Reapply the change.
    7. Sync photos are removed from the device.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support, cheers!
