To remove the start of Premiere Elements screen?

Is there a way to get rid of the annoying splash screen in first Elements 7? If I close it, the entire application is closed too.

  • Some of the Menus Adobe Premiere element cause DVD burning failures?

Some of the Adobe Menus cause DVD burning failures?   What should have been a project of 10 minutes for a small 4 minute video took hours as burning DVDs stopped at 4% and then gave a message of "something has prevented completion in progress DVD burning".  I could finally solve it down for the Menu template, and when an audio clip looping has been added.  The Menu was built for an audio clip loop, but when I removed it the fine burned DVD.

Since my last post, I checked that my drivers are up to date.   Driver updates were made to the display card Intel HD 4600 Graphics and Chipset Intel 8 series/C220 family SATA AHCI Controller.

I created a new project and changed the flow of work to remove the check mark from selection to 'Add Menu markers automatically for me'.   When the menu has been selected and displayed, only the main Menu was to confirm that I didn't remove the Menu scenes.   At this point, I finished the remaining workflow and tried to burn on DVD using the stated parameters previously.   However, it had the same failed result.

I went then to the path of Premiere Elements menu bar: Edit > Preferences > General

The option "use hardware acceleration (works on Intel HD Graphics 2000 and higher)" has been selected.  I unchecked this option and clicked on the OK"" button.   I then tried to burn DVD with DVD NTSC_Widescreen_Dolby preset.

Success!   The DVD was burned and confirmed to work in older DVD player (AVCHD burning earlier disk did not work in older DVD player, but worked in a new Blu - Ray player).

It seems that the "use hardware acceleration" option preferred default was the problem in the prevention of burning DVDs.

  • My "Pin to Taskbar", "delete the start" etc. on my screen of boot options have been replaced by rectangles

    Hi all

This week, I bought a new computer and a clean installed Windows 8 Pro on this subject last night Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Everything went well, but after that I was running, roughly halfway through the reloading all my programs and downloading my apps I noticed that some of my icons/Windows 8 interface graphics had been corrupted.

On the start screen, when you click right on the bar program tasks then appears downstairs. Where it says uninstall/remove startup etc there is often icons above them like a PIN, etc. These disappeared and I have now 3 rectangles above each option and I don't know why. Can anyone help? I've attached screen grab so you can see what I mean.

    Hello

Those who are actually not icons they are symbols that are contained in the default fonts for Windows 8.

  • Is there an assistant who can detect if your computer has the configuration for Premiere Elements?

My question must be explicit. I plan to buy Premiere Elements and I have a computer of Windows XP from 2007. I went in the (very long) list requirements and updated updated my graphics driver, but this is inherited or vintage, at this point, more there are still things that I'm not sure. I also have a laptop Win7 age of 6 months.

Only, it would be much easier if there is a way for Adobe to detect if my systems will support this.

Suggestion of Steve to try the trial, is as good as it gets. That will tell you if your computer is up to the task.

Also and as Steve mentions, the Source footage will dictate the equipment you need for a pleasant editing experience.

According to my experience, the publication of "requirements" is about as low as it gets, and will be generally allow to install and launch the program. I campaigned for Adobe to publish 'real world' minimum specifications., but that different types of film Source may require a toll on processing power, whoever is only the material edition DV SD, captured by a camera of miniDV Tape, will be able to get by with less than someone trying to edit AVCHD, or any other version of H.264 material.

I think that Steve did a great job at the level of the minimum specifications of real world plan. in the Appendix of his pre books. I wish that Adobe adopt those with published minimum system requirements.

If you run dxdiag.exe (Start > Run > dxdiag.exe) and the specifications of the list. your computer, someone here can help you determine if you have the power. Also, please let us know the type of material that you want to change.

Good luck and let us know more about your laptop, as well as how the test works for you.

  • Power button in the start Windows 8.1 screen

When I go to the Windows Start Menu 8.1 I have all of the options of closing down, sleep etc.  I have a laptop, I expected this option to be there.  Can someone explain how to recover?

    Things I've tried:

I searched all the parameters that I can find, but if you know where it is I would be very grateful to hear it!

I used a change in the registry tutorial that was supposed to solve the problem found here - http://winsupersite.com/windows-8/windows-81-update-1-tip-toggle-power-button

    Hey D_E_Manton,

I don't think that this feature is something that has been disabled by HP.

You have the latest updates for your system? Windows 8.1 does not initially include the functions of power on the start screen. These were added later with an update and is the most likely solution to your problem.

In addition, as a temporary work around you could do what I did in Windows 8 for my PC at home. Create a shortcut in "c:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu" to sleep, stop, or restart. As long as you create shortcuts in the correct path to the file, they should be viewable on your screen, allowing you to pin them there. You can change the icons of shortcuts to display the corresponding images using this path of the file as you choose the icons: %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll

When to use the shortcut created the following location:

    Shutdown - shutdown.exe/s/t 00

    Restart - shutdown.exe/r/t 00

    Sleep - shutdown.exe/h

    I hope this helps!

Display HP HDX X 16-1370US Premium Notebook PC goes black but will come back by changing the angle of the screen. An external monitor works.  I think that it is a loose connection or frayed wire and the desire to remove the back casing of the screen.  I can lift the bottom but the sides and the top seem to be bound more than just a snap tight fit.

I took a screwdriver blade thin and directed to the rear of the screen and applied pressure of lifting.  The back is free and come off that way.

I uninstalled all my new laptop Win 8 games, but there is always a 'Games' section on the screen all applications containing icons for 'All Casual Games', 'All lovers of games', 'All family games', "All games for children" and "all MMO games. • Help me remove the address bar at my screen

I sent my laptop in for repair and they reloaded windows 8. However, I now have this bar to address extended at the top of my screen and it does not allow anything else on the screen to go full screen. Browsers, e-mail, photos, documents, spreadsheets, everything appears under the address bar which I want to go far. I have browsers if I want an address bar. I put one on my taskbar. I don't have that on my previous windows 8 (or a person helped me remove years ago and I don't remember). How can I remove it?

I think that the problem had to do with a browser. Microsoft insisted that I upgrade to 8.1 (gave me no choice, not happy that although I was hesitant for me I need to charge a bunch of applications that does not seem to be the case). Once it is I reload Firefox that I use as my main browser and the problem has not occurred. I can't say with certainty it is Firefox, but this is what I suspect.
