Tons of white space at the bottom of my pages

Hello

I get almost unlimited white space below my footer on my desktop-width pages. I checked the Page Properties and the properties of the Site. I checked the Master Page and all other pages.

In the Properties Page, make sure that the Minimum length is not longer than the content.

I feel there is something small miss me and I was wondering if anyone knows what this might be.

Thank you!

Thanks Preran!

PS I think I awesomely answered a question of user for you... can I have another green bar >

  • White space at the bottom of the container

I've tried everything. I turned off sticky footer and removed the padding down but I can't figure out how to remove white space at the bottom of the container.image.jpegimage.jpeg

I wasn't expecting the rounded corners to cause problems.

But positioning not connected and disconnected from the separate elements in a Web page is always something to be careful with. Smart Guides can pop up very reassuring, but Muse simply cannot change the principles of HTML. The length of a text and the depth of a just framework is not easy to predict and anticipate, so a bad alignment can occur. Grouping could help. Try to find a different design that is less sensitive to these effects.

Hi, here is an update.  I managed to get rid of the white line in the menu expanded by increasing the height of the image (sorry, I don't think than forward).  So, there is only a thin white line on the left in the menu of the collapse.  If she can't get rid of, its color can be changed?  Thank you.

Here ya go - save you messing around hunting which was placed on what element and then combination of css classes, get rid of him.

  • I have a wide space at the bottom of my pages?

OK, I have original was a wild space at the bottom of my page. I don't want that I fixed that, then I thought, it displays perfectly in preview mode, but when I published the site the white space is still there.

Here is a link to my site http://gkwebdesignscom.businesscatalyst.com/index.html

I check the forum there was a discussion on white space at the bottom of page. However, I don't see a definitive answer.

    Hello

There are a couple of empty rectangle at the bottom of the page, resulting in an extra space at the bottom. Please refer to the following screenshot: http://prntscr.com/4jad3g

Please remove these rectangles and your problem will be solved.

  • How can I get rid of the horizontal white strip at the bottom of each page?

White stripe at the bottom of page does not go far. I tried settings of the Site Master Page page/bottom of the settings page footer properties, nothing works.

I can see a line of 1-pixel white below. What is your background color of the browser? Although the footer and bottom of page settings are made on the master, they can always be adjusted on a page using the master.

That said, I think there could be a bug in Muse, as I experienced it several times, among other weird things happening with the footer settings.

  • My site has a large white space on the bottom

My site has a large whitespace on the bottom of the site when published, how to fix this?

Unfortunately there is no solution 'a button' for this. You can create your structure based on your desktop site, but you will need to add the content manually.

  • Why is there a space at the bottom of my page when I preview it?

It contains the background color, at least, but it makes the page look sloppy. In the photos that I have attached, the first shows a screenshot of the preview and how Lavender is the extension (and appears much more time I captured). The second photo shows a screenshot of Muse; This is how I want to 'content' section and the foot of page to appear, as it does by hand and home pages in the app thanks to anyone who can help!

I would then check the minimum page height.  To do this, go to the page, the page properties, and then click page layout. You should see the height of page top left

  • Adding CAPTCHA to form the widget adds white bar at the bottom of the screen (CHROME/iOS)

I worked with support on this subject for more than a week and after trial and error (and several headaches), I was able to identify the problem.

It seems that when CAPTCHA is added to a form (form widget), the extra space is added at the bottom of the page (about 20px). This happens in CHROME and iOS... IE seems to do fine, Firefox - no problem.

When you remove the CAPTCHA, without issue. I maybe the form was overlapping and pushing the content down - but, alas, not the question. So I started with a blank page and a footer (sticky and not) - the result: something is added to the page and creates white space at the bottom.

Please notify. It is a problem persisting that ruins/design limits.

Still having this problem? Google updated reCaptcha yesterday to fix this problem.

  • Cannot get rid of the space at the bottom of the Page

I do a redesign of my site and there is a space at the bottom of my page that I can't get rid of. Some pages of space is fine. But most is not. Here is a screenshot of the good and the bad:

    The good:

    The bad news:

I make the changes right in Dreamweaver so it looks right, but when I see on the internet there is too much space. Anyone know how I can remove this extra space?

    Thank you!

A background image can not add space to what it's, though!

Right, nothing to do with what is why I had become confused.

I found the culprit a height on one statement(see below)... grrrrr. In fact the greyline.jpg wasn't a background image at all.

  • white space in the footer

I'm puzzled. Can someone please take a look and tell me whence my white space? The master page is great, but got it all other pages. The cursor will not go back on any of them. I unchecked the option sticky footer and all my page dimensions are correct. I also deleted a few widgets that may have caused the it. Anyone?
