• Need to print in Spanish, English installation software

  I'm not sure where the problem lies really, but I just bought a HP G60-549DX with Windows 7 64 bit laptop and an HP Photosmart C4795 printer/scanner. Whenever I try to install the printer using the CD or the software downloaded from the internet, it downloads all in Spanish and I need English. At one point, he asked me what language and I took English. I checked the Windows language settings and they are marked correctly, than English. I uninstalled and reinstalled numorous times. When the installation starts, the screen will show in English, but then after about 5 or 6 screens everything changes. All the software menus appear in Spanish so I don't know what to click on if I want to scan, etc.

  The printer does not keep track of the pages since the last cartridge, but for the Officejet 4630, line 21, PG = 149 line has a current account relative to the total number of printed pages.  If your printer is connected to a network you can also find the number of pages in the Web server integrated (EWS) in the printer.  The SAP is accessible by finding the address IP address of the printer, and then put this address in your browser.  This would save printing a page.

  I called HP support.  The technology was very knowledgeable and accommodating.  HP Smart Install program (in the printer and on CD) that came in the box was an old version.  I had to reset the printer back to factory default and to download the new firmware on the HP.com website.

  The oldest had an incorrect address router (network). You can see the address of the router (IP) when you perform the self-test (hold down the button "on") under the information network.  IPv4 address must be the same as your router.  Now my printer and computer are looking at the same network.

  Works great!  Love this LaserJet.  Faster than my last HP LaserJet 4 L.

  I have exactly the same problem.  I can not connect via a wired or wireless connection in Windows 10.

  The printer is on the network.  The HP Home Diagnostic Utility Network and HP print and Scan doctor can find the printer, why doesn't the installer?

  I tried to install Win 8.1 software, but it's the same beam, so I had the same problem.  An older version might work, but it seems that you cannot access old drivers on the HP website.

  I wouldn't mind so much if there was a way to install a scanner driver and I could scan with another application, but I can't find a scanner driver and the "Imaging Software" component on the installation program (I think that's what it was called) does not seem to install the driver, or at least does not have the available scanner.  I can scan via the web page printer, but that gives only very few options.

  I had any other problems with the software of HP driver for this product on the day 1, almost 14 years ago.  The works still printer, it's just the software that supports this is hogwash.
