too many wi - fi networks

How can I remove the network unwanted in the drop-down list of wi - fi?

You can't do something for wireless networks that you see, unless you visit with the owners of other wireless routers that produce signals wireless and then convince them to turn off their wireless router. However, chances are that they will be unwilling to do.

However you can delete or networks that you created. But, if you do this, you won't have a wireless signal much longer.

There may be many reasons for any slow application at startup. Without more information, or to be in front of your system, it is difficult to diagnose. 2 suggestions below.

    Firefox Safe Mode
You may need to use questions Troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode (click on "Safe Mode" and reading) to locate the problem. Firefox Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that disables Extensions and some other features of Firefox. If you are using a theme, place you in the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Modules > Themes before start Safe Mode. When you enter Safe Mode, do not check all the items in the window, just click "continue mode without failure." A test to see if the problem you are experiencing is fixed.

If the problem does not occur in mode without failure, then disable all your Extensions and Plug-ins, and then try to find out who is causing by allowing both the problem reappears. You MUST close and restart Firefox after EACH change via file > restart Firefox (on Mac: Firefox > Quit). You can use 'Disable all add-ons' on the start safe mode window.

  • App problem creates too many handles, PC crashes, how do I know why and stop it?

We have a problem application that creates too many handles (about 3000 every 2 seconds), but it does so only with certain PC which have a conexant onboard sound, how can I find more information about why the handles are consumed at such a pace? (winxpsp3, dell optiplex 390)
Application uses a wrapper.exe and seems to use a lot of Flash/Shockwave/Java. (Range of software active Teach of Pearson).
The handles of process SYSTEM seem to be created as the registry constantly queried for (relative to the sound card) non-existent registry keys.
His conexant card drivers were installed as a local administrator, and update the BIOS & PC drivers not yet had effect.

Once the number of handles starts to get in the Millions, the PC grinds to a stop/crashes(usually takes less than 30 mins!) coup!

  • Password Lock problem. Too many failed attempts.

My computer is locked because of too many password attempts failed.

I know my password, but my kids played with him and based on the
Enter the key too many times in the log on screen.

Now, if I have the password, it will not accept
    the password more.

How to unlock my computer, so he will accept my correct password
    Once again?

Of course, Microsoft would have not designed this software
so that if a stranger, or my child, because of many down
attempts would not only locked their output, but
    Me too.

There must be a way to unlock this computer, if I
    the correct password.

If that is the only available Administrator Profile (you need to be an administrator to fix this), enable the Hidden Administrator Account (HAA) using http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?&lang=en&cr=US&guid=&sloc=en-us&dg=microsoft.public.windows.vista.administration_accounts_passwords&p=1&tid=d20f9db4-7b2c-48be-a087-7835dc2a9055&mid=d20f9db4-7b2c-48be-a087-7835dc2a9055.  If you don't remember the password, try nothing because that's probably what you (or seller) did during the installation.  If you have another administrator account, sign in on that one.  Once you're connected, go to the locked account and use manage anouther account to access and then reset the password (do it with any other such accounts).  Once that is done, don't forget to disable the HAA to save it in case it is necessary once again and for safety reasons (since people often try to hack into systems using this account).  Do NOT use the HAA as your administrator account because if you lose the only administrator on the system account or it is damaged again, then you're watered.  You must keep two administrator accounts and the standard account for everyday use by yourself (create these accounts now while you think about it if this is not the case).

    I hope this helps.

  • Too many Microsoft 6to4 adapters (740 of them)

I have this for years, but I never noticed until I tried to install a new network adapter driver.  Is it normal to have Microsoft 6to4 adapters about 740. When I do ipconfig/all, they don't show up.

Having too many network card drivers stop to make the news because I get the error message when I try to install Tunngle adapter.

    Does this affect my pc?

How can I get rid of this?

Photo of the device below Manager (could not take the picture of each unique adapter, but you get the idea)

The Microsoft 6to4 mechanism is used to help the transition to an IPv6 infrastructure companies. Map 6to4 encapsulates IPv6 packets with an IPv4 header. This feature allows the customer to carry IPv6 traffic over an IPv4 infrastructure. This approach allows organizations to migrate slowly to an IPv6 infrastructure without having to spend too much time and financial resources to convert the new infrastructure.

When the computer restarts, Plug-and-Play service stops before running the process to activate the card Microsoft 6to4 be reused. For this reason, the adapter cannot be reused when it is reconnected. Therefore, a new virtual adapter is created.

IPv6 network adapters are reinstalled when network connectivity is restored on a computer that is running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008

According to syslog, it seems that NTP uses IP addresses a lot for example 192.168.56.65:

    [root@vmoe1 network-scripts] # grep "56.65" var

    Mar 19 14:35 vmoe1 ntpd [1545]: listening on the interface #11 eth1:1, 192.168.56.65 #123 Enabled

    [root@vmoe1 network-scripts] #.

Can someone explain why 192.168.56.65 this IP address is used by eth1:2?

I found the reason why: IP addresses ending with 64, 65 and 66 are used by the listener to SCAN:
