  I can't believe people are telling you in catering for a simple problem.  If you look in the Help menu of paint, under the text, it will tell you that the text tool only works if you are in normal mode.  This means that if you're looking at the big picture, or clicked the magnifying glass image at 2 x or more, TEXT will not work, you can restore to an earlier point, and as soon as you enlarge your image to it you cannot use new text.  LOOK in the Help menu before asking these stupid forums where the solution of these so-called experts is always to restore, reinstall or buy new software.

• Problem with the tool brush painting

  When I use the paint brush tool it is automatically detcting the color in the photo that I used on another layer, even if I delete this layer, but I want to just paint to be black. I tried to create a new document and using the same bag, but when I try and paint nothing happens. Does anyone know what I'm missing / how to help?

  The regular brush tool is simply not available?  Or are you simply not it see in the tools Panel?  If the latter, keep in mind several tools may occupy the same place.  Click and hold on the icon just above the tool shape history, then select the Brush tool.

  If you try to paint a solid color, the tool shape history or Art History Brush are simply the wrong tools.

• Photoshop CS4 type tool and paint bucket

  I'm teaching my students Photoshop CS4 and have started to have problems, I've ever met.

  Problem #1 - text tool will not work. We can create a text box and type in it. Text does not appear on the document, but appears in the layers palette. I made sure the layer is on top and text is not too large for the text box font color contrast the background. I have looked at the character and paragraph palettes you are looking for something unusual but found nothing.

  Problem #2 - the paint bucket is "stuck" on one color. Any sample of the color I chose, the color does not change. I created new documents and also closed and reopened the program but that didn't help either.

  Enyone met these problems? How you solve the problem?

• Tool brush painting

  I can't get my brush to paint... it gives me just a thin green spotted... what I am doing wrong... I have tried everything I can think of to get iy to paint the solid color and it comes used!

  Make sure that your document is not in preview mode of the layer or the file level.  At the level of the layer, make sure that you do not have the few places to the right of the name of the selected layer.  For the level of the files, make sure that you do not have the Preview Mode contours (as to select upper toolbar view-> preview-> something other than contours Mode)

• What are the samples of color near the cursor when using the live paint tool?

  When I use the tool live paint to fill in forms, there are three shades of color that appear next to my cursor, showing me what color I am filled, but also two other colors (looks like that maybe they are the colors next to this color in my Swatch Library?).  Is it possible to move quickly to any of the other colors with a keyboard shortcut?  Cannot find this answer anywhere, would appreciate any help, thank you!

  I have this painting Brush tool glitch/error. Every time when I paint with the Brush tool a painting. After when I up my pen stroke is surrounded by a rectangle. Can someone tell me please how to get rid of this annoying problem.

  

  Hello

  The rectangle is encompassing of the object, if the object drawing mode is enabled it will get, if you turn off the drawing of the tools Panel mode object, you could not see.

• Paint brush tool help!

  So I'm having a problem in adobe illustrator, where I can't draw the tight curves with the Brush tool to paint without the editing of my line program. is there a way to change that, or turn it off? The image on the left is what my line looks like before I release the left button of the mouse and the image on the right is the final path.

• AI5 live paint bucket tool

  I'm quite a beginner to Adobe Illustrator. I use the demo version of AI5.

  I scanned and created a work plan with my drawing.

  I have switched to dynamic painting mode, but could not find the tool live paint bucket.

  According to their instructions, it is assumed to be with the eyedropper tool.

  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or where the tool could be?

  Scott misunderstood the query, the live paint bucket is under the form generator tool and above the tool rack perspective in the toolbar and the free transform tool below.

  Lightroom is mainly used by photographers.  If you do not need, do not install it.

  If you have an image saved as a file. JPG or. PNG then the text will be part of the image and not easily removable - you will not be able to simply select the text and delete it as you can in a word processor document. Instead, you will need to use your artistic skills, try to use the tools of painting (or other photo editing software) image editing. The results will depend on the complexity of the image in and around the text and your skills.

  Open the images in Paint.Net and pick "Settings" "Invert colors" and it seems to do what you want (I think).

  Late EDIT - sorry, bit more tweaking, it seems you can do it in paint.

  1 load the image

  House 2 - Select - Select all

  3 your selected image right-click and click "Invert colors".

  There is also a shortcut keys, just press the keys all at the same time. (Control Shift I have)

  I'm in selection and hide the workspace > discovers black & white. When you use the Paintbrush tool, how to switch between painting with white and black?

  With the Brush tool selected paint just in the black and white view and this is equivalent to paint with white. Now the alt key or option is equivalent to paint with black.

  

• Problems of brush tools

  I am creating a cover, and I shot a picture of fire (with a layer mask) on the top of my image of a man. Then, I searched my brush tool, double checked to ensure that it was black and white and then tried to go on the man's face, so I see it, instead of the flames. However, when I start by dragging the cursor on the face, the Brush tool starts getting lines across my cover, so the flames in odd places.

  Why the Brush tool is 'paint' on its own? I messed up a setting? I'm not press shift. I can't think of any other reason they would do that.

  Wow, I just closed and reopened in Photoshop, and when I went back to my image, it worked!
