• Problem with the tool brush painting

  When I use the paint brush tool it is automatically detcting the color in the photo that I used on another layer, even if I delete this layer, but I want to just paint to be black. I tried to create a new document and using the same bag, but when I try and paint nothing happens. Does anyone know what I'm missing / how to help?

  The regular brush tool is simply not available?  Or are you simply not it see in the tools Panel?  If the latter, keep in mind several tools may occupy the same place.  Click and hold on the icon just above the tool shape history, then select the Brush tool.

  If you try to paint a solid color, the tool shape history or Art History Brush are simply the wrong tools.

  Good afternoon

  After some research online I can not find how to do a very simple thing - paint a mask of an adjustment layer. I'm doing the area under the shoe more even using the curves and paint masks appropriate for them.

  What is the simplest approach to achieve this?

  You can also use the Brush tool to paint on the alpha channel. If you do this on an adjustment layer, it should have the result you're looking for.

  It is a long shot, but as far as I know, nview is part of the package, not the driver, so if you manually install the latest driver with Device Manager, you may be able to retain the desired nview functionality when you are using the latest driver.

• Tool brush CS4 is a few pixels off

  Hello. In CS3 when I used the tool brush to clean the masks, I could put the edge of the round cursor on the edge of the object at hand, and when I click on the mouse, the brush would land right where I placed the cursor. Now, in CS4, the brush mark ends up as 5 pixels away and towards the bottom of the slider. Thus, it is extremely difficult to be accurate. Sometimes, if I delete my preferences, it works fine, but at some point, it begins to do this again.

  Any idea would be appreciated. I use photoshop on a new Mac Pro Tower, 4 core.

  you have created a new document in use mode full screen, press F to scroll the screen modes and everything will be back to normal.

  I want to know if there are plans to add more brushes and utensils such as knives of paint and brushes of most large landscape? I also think it would be good if we could change the direction of brushes including the fan brush so we can more easily dictate what we are painting.

• Error tool brush with layer masks

  I've identified a bug in layer mask in Photoshop for Mac 14.2.1. When you work with no vector layer masks, the Brush tool will not paint one value darker than the white level in the mask. For example:

  When a layer mask is created from the icon at the bottom of the layers window, the mask itself is white, representing a total visibility of the hidden layer. If you try to use the brush with 100% black (for in fact hide something in the layer there is), it does not work. I am able to use the bucket tool paint and pencil to fill in black mask tool, but not the Brush tool. If the mask is 67% gray, and my brush tool is set to 66% gray, it does not yet affect mask; White level cannot be decreased, not increased with the Brush tool. Bug!

• The tool brush Flash CC suddenly stops drawing when the step is small

  When you use the Brush tool, I have a problem that will be the race I paint abrupty cut at one point on the screen (about halfway to the bottom of the screen, it does not concern the position of the canvas or the coordinates).  This seems to happen when I have the scene size set to a smaller size (64 x 64 pixels for example).  I was able to reproduce the same behavior on several files and a Windows 8.1 machine and a Windows 7 machine, both using the updated version of Flash CC.  Both machines are double monitor, I'm not sure if that plays a factor.

  To reproduce:

  1. create a new FLA in Flash CC and set the size of the scene to 64 x 64 pixels.

  2. use the Brush tool and try to shoot from the top to the bottom of the screen (zoom level and position on the canvas is okay, as long as your cursor is going to the top of your screen to the bottom of your screen).

  3. the race cuts abruptly Mid-drawing at some point on the screen, about half way down.  You can continue to draw and move to the top, and it reappears when it crosses the barrier again.

  This does not occur if the size of the scene has something bigger (640 x 480, for example).  This also happens in Flash CS5 or CS6 and have noticed only happens in Flash CC.

  What is happening with the mouse to draw and also happened when I tested it on another PC with an attached Wacom tablet.

  Is what is happening to the other institutions, and is at - it a fix for this problem?  (aside, always using a size big stage)

• Tool brush CS5 question

  I am using the Brush tool, and the "painting" fills the entire round 'brush '.

  When I got CS3 on a PC, the diameter of the brush was the diameter of the color. I looked through the settings for CS5 on my Mac, but couldn't find anything that is limiting the diameter. The only thing I checked under "Brush Tip shape" is 'dynamic shape.'

  In the Mac system preferences > universal access > check to see if the size of the cursor is set to display higher than normal of the mouse.

  The text in the paint button is not active (it's hidden).  How to activate or operate?   I need to add text to my picture...

  I can't believe people are telling you in catering for a simple problem.  If you look in the Help menu of paint, under the text, it will tell you that the text tool only works if you are in normal mode.  This means that if you're looking at the big picture, or clicked the magnifying glass image at 2 x or more, TEXT will not work, you can restore to an earlier point, and as soon as you enlarge your image to it you cannot use new text.  LOOK in the Help menu before asking these stupid forums where the solution of these so-called experts is always to restore, reinstall or buy new software.

• Rubber Stamp and healing tool brush stopped working

  I was using Photoshop CS6 modifications when the tool pad and corrector has stopped working.  The crazy part is that they worked just before they stopped working.  I restarted Photoshop without result.  It helps, I'm on an iMac 27 ".  Any ideas?

  See if reset photoshop cs6 preferences solves the clone stamp and healing of the painting tools.

  Hold down the shift + command + Option keys right after the beginning of the launch of photoshop cs6

  (you have to be fast while pressing the keys)

  Keep possession of the keys down until you get a dialog box asking if you want to delete the adobe photoshop settings file

  Press Yes

  

• Click on a header of every time I change my color/tool/brush size etc. on CS6 & El Capitan

  OK, it drives me absolutely crazy. My CS6 has been slow for a bit, but since the upgrade to El Capitan, I'm losing my mind. Whenever I want to change brush size, fast replacement of the tools, zoom in or out, basically anything, I first have to click the image generally on the program header and then I can't change. Otherwise, none of the keyboard shortcuts work and nothing is last updated on the screen. The spot Healing Brush tool does not update unless I do this or cure somewhere else. The clone tool drags and won't appear not updated until I do it. The list is long. I tried to delete my preferences file and that did not work. Optimize my Mac did not work (this is a new Mac is told by the way). Nothing worked! This makes editing a bit tortuous. Suggestions? I quickly fell I also use Wacom tablet in case this has nothing to do with it.

  John, there's always a choice. And in fact I just had a friend call me an answer about 1 minute after I posted this. Menus, shortcuts, Lasso tool, or Photoshop constantly run when using a Wacom tablet. Mac OS worked perfectly. There is no need to further improve.

  Smart pixel rendering object layer cannot be changed. They can be ordered on with filters and adjustment layers.  Do not use tool on them that actually change the pixels in layers. You may not use the erasers, brushes or filter them directly.  All smart object layers have a transform associated with the scale the layers.  The transformation is as a smart filter. The associated transformation turns to smart object layers made of pixels on a different scale. The pixels of the layer are not actually changed.

  What you are experiencing is not a bug it's a correct operation.

• I can't access the tool brush on Photoshop CC 2014

  I tried searching the Forum and on google but couldn't find an answer. I used to have a choice on the left side of the page to select the Brush tool, and then select a brush I downloaded it, but for some reason, he disappeared and when I go to "window > brush" all brushes are blocked and I can't use them.
