I've just updated to 29 of Firefox. Since the update the Norton Toolbar is no longer compatible. The Norton toolbar has worked in the last version of Firefox that I had installed. Is there a way to get back to the last version of Firefox where this toolbar is compatible and keep all the settings (favorites) in the old version I am reloading? All my passwords (99) are in the toolbar Norton Safe ID. Now I can not connect to many Web sites.
Hello jimb01, yes norton supports only the stable versions of firefox and Firefox 29 you are using the beta version of the browser. You can download the normal version of firefox 28 of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/channel/#firefox and install it on top of your current installation...

After you download Firefox 4, my Google toolbar has disappeared. The new F4 page has no opinion, etc. to tools at the top. WHY I would risk this again by accepting the invitation to download 5?
Changes in the toolbars:
- I don't like the changes made to the user interface either, rather than to save toolbar space, they would have much more space with 1/10 the functionality. But the important thing is that it's Firefox and you can customize things yourself. Your complaints about the Firefox toolbars are the top 10 items in what follows and they are quickly fixed.
You can make Firefox 5.0 looks not like Firefox 3.6.19, see numbered 1 to 10 points in the next topic difficulty Firefox 4.0 UI toolbar, problems (Make Firefox 5.0, or 4.0.1 resemble 3.6). If you make changes, you must be aware of what has changed and what it takes to use changed or missing features.
hostage to the third party toolbar:
- Why you would bind your use of any third-party toolbar browser, which was never really necessary, and even less be hostage to not update to Firefox. Google has had over a year to update their toolbar for Firefox 4 and changes for Firefox 5 could have been tested for several months. Google has waited very long before for finally stating that they would maintain is no longer their toolbar for Firefox, claiming that it was not necessary, and that the items were in Firefox. Also be aware that the features are also in their own browser that also do not need or use the Google toolbar. Not only is Mozilla open source, but all the information is available to anyone - you can even listen online meetings yourself or wait for a printed reviewa.
- There is no change to the user interface of Firefox 4 to 5 and probably even not through Firefox 7
Life without the Google toolbar:
- You can read this article, on the basis of assessment of own Google features were already in Firefox and expanded from there.
Kicking a dead horse:

My taskbar has moved to the right side of the screen rather than on the bottom. Is it possible to fix?
1. right click on the taskbar and uncheck "lock the taskbar".

my home page has moved to the left about 1.5 cm how he put it back in place again
my homepage has moved about 1.5 cm to the left how do I get it back in place again
What page you use as your home page?
According to the page you choose, sometimes it can all fit on the screen, based on your screen resolution settings.
If you like what the rest of your computer looks like, look in the lower part of your browser and if there's a scroll bar (you'll know if you see arrows in the lower left and right corners) click on the left arrow to see the rest of your home page.
Most sites these days are optimized for a 1024 X 768 screen resolution. At this resolution, scroll bars are not necessary, since most of the time you can see the entire page at once.
To change the screen resolution of 1024 X 768:
1. click on Control Panel
2. click on display
3 click ' settings tab
4. where is written "Screen Resolution", click on the bar and move it until you see 1024 X 768.
5. click on OK
Hope this helps

My screen has moved to the right. The scroll bar on the right side is more visible to use. What should I do?
Hi roseann.loasby,
As the display is shifted to the right the problem is more to do with your monitor than Windows. A monitor, it of like a TV and invokes hold vertical and horizontal button options to keep the image in place.
There should be options on your monitor to make changes to the positioning vertical/hortizonal (in your horizontal case). Most monitors have an 'auto' option that automatically adjusts the diaply photo, so it is well positioned. It's nothing serious, however, you will need to check your user guide for the monitor to see what options you have to use the re - adjust the horizontal positioning. If there is a "menu" button on the front of your monitor try to press to view a display on your monitor. You can then either use the option 'auto' or else click the left/right arrows (usually on each side of the on-screen menu button) to adjust the menu and then the position.
If you are not confident to do this, you ask someone with more knowledge to do it for you. By pressing the wrong button, you can make the screen more out of alignment, so be careful, as otherwise it will be a matter of trial and error until you have reset the monitor correctly.
It is a fairly simple job to do, but because every monitor is different, it is difficult to write clear instructions because I could tell you to press a button and this button may not be here, then take a look at your user guide for the monitor first to familiarize yourself with the buttons are available.
