• new plugin for sametime 9.0.1 - config tool problem

  Hello

  I tried to make the new "integration of UC for sametime" to work. I used the previous version 8.6.2 successfully in our environment.

  Now the problem with version 9.0.1: config tool just does not save files on the update_site.

  There is always a java error when I try to save the configuration.

  Phone control and presence settings SAVE FAILED: Exception when saving: java.lang.NullPointerException

  Any ideas?  I have reinstalled Java environment, I tried another computer... still the same problem.

• Pen tool problem

  I'm having a problem with the pen tool recently. the pen tool doesn't let me do the sharp edges or horns.

  See how the pen tool will not let me do the curve?

  It is a huge problem, because I want to do logos and I can't.

  If I'm doing something wrong, or using the wrong tool please tell me the correct way.

  I should also add the alternative way (which seems a bit lengthy compared to above, but who can help with a different design)

  Start up and going counterclockwise

  Click on the highest point of the page

  Click the second (straight line)

  Click on the third (straight line)

  Click and drag in the fourth (to create the curve)

  ALT click on the fourth point, which you have just created (which removes the handle facing forward)

  Click and drag to the fifth (to create the curve)

  ALT click on the fifth (to remove the handle facing forward)

  Click on items 6 and 7 (straight)

  Click and drag the 8 (curve)

  ALT click on the 8th (removes the handle facing forward)

  Click and drag the 9 (curve)

  ALT click 9 (to remove the handle facing forward)

  Click on the 10th (straight line)

  Click on the starting point (straight line to close the loop)

• Using the Rotate tool - problems

  I'm a newbie, but I know how to do this, at least I thought I did.  In short, I want to draw an ellipse, then use the Rotate tool to copy many of them, until I get a circle of them, using the lower part as the pivot point.  So if I want 36 steps, I put the angle to 10 degrees and copy, then ctrl-d to paste as needed to complete the circle.  The problem is, I can't get the pivot point for adapt to where I want to.  When I initially click on the ellipse first (and only), then my rotation tool, I then passes the pivot toward the bottom of the ellipse.  When I double click on the Rotate tool again to bring up the dialog box, the pivot point goes back to the Center.  Once the dialog box is in place, I can't set the pivot point more.  Furthermore, if I select the ellipse, select the Rotate tool, move the pivot point, then try ALT-click on the new point pivot, the newly copied and pasted ellipse will be elsewhere on the artboard.

  What Miss me?  Thanks for any help.

  Well I just found out the problem.  It's my Wacom driver.  I took my USB mouse and it worked like a champ, picked up the pen or the Wacom mouse and you never know where it will copy.  Thanks anyway.  At least now I know.

• Photoshop yesterday updated - move the tool problem

  After the recent update (2015.1 20151114.r.301), I have a big problem with the tool move when I use the shortcut 'ctrl '. Whenever I use it, it seems to work in auto range mode (even if it is disabled) and move the highest layer in the stack.

  Please try and reset the Photoshop preferences

  Steps to follow:

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

• Crop tool - problem!

  Hi, I use Photoshop CS5.1 on two computers; on the laptop, it works fine, but about 6 weeks ago I started having problems with the cropping tool on my work computer (all other functions seem to work).

  When I mark an area and then click Enter he removes the entire image instead of register the domain I scored. Everything else seems to work very well. Have I missed an update or changed without knowing a setting?

  Or it's just a strange bug? I'm not too keen on the reinstallation of the program, because that would mean having to reinstall InDesign etc. too, and I really need this program now. Any ideas?

  I would say to reset the tool and see if that makes the difference.

  To reset a tool, you must first have the selected tool. Then Ctrl-click (Windows users: right click) the button tool preset in the Tool Options bar.

  

  When you click this button, you will see a small menu and you can select Tool Reset to reset the current tool to its default value or reset all tools to deliver all the tools to its default value. Once selected, the tool will act as the first time you have used it.

  

  Using this simple method to reset your tool with a single click, you can quickly remedy any situation where the tool does not correctly and to maintain the flow of creativity going.

• Lasso tool problem

  When I use the lasso tool to select any thing and then ctrl + c and ctrl + v to copy and paste, then all of the selected objects get stuck. The selected objects are a line, a rectangle and a number. The number is not sticking. If I select same objects with the tool lasso and then switch to the selection tool to move objects are moving, so this shows that they are selected. If I use selection tool and then ctrl + c and ctrl + v everything gets stuck, so it's suddenly not in locked layers or anything like that.

  In the same document, I also have a related problem of the lasso tool. If I select some objects with the lasso and then tool press DELETE I get the error message "cannot delete objects. If I use the selection tool, and then tap on delete all objects are deleted.

  Having to use the normal selection tool is instead a lot of extra work for the forms that I select does not fit into a rectangle without selecting a large number of additional objects.

• Shortcut type tool problem

  In InDesign CC, I use the T key on my keyboard to switch to the type tool. Occasionally (not always) it goes back to the previous tool, which means that if I had selected before the selection tool, and I have to switch to Type T tool, it switches back to the selection tool a moment later. It's infuriating!

  Things I noticed:

  • Can I have more than one document open, and the issue may arise in only 1 / some of the documents - not all
  • Selecting the type tool in the Tools window allows you to work around the problem (so, seems to be that the keyboard shortcut)
  • Have not seen this error reproduced for ANY other tool.
  • Double-clicking a box of text always works to automatically change the text
  • The program of closing and reopening it fixes usually, but sometimes does not work

  I'm trying to figure out if anyone else has noticed this problem. I can't find anything in the face of this problem. Y at - it a solution?

  I have some problems with drawing in Illustrator.

  I created an illustration where the shape is black and the details inside are drawn with white lines.

  However, I want my final artwork to be just black (IE white lines will be transformed in the form of "blank lines" using pathfinder > tool fracture).

  After using the pathfinder, it seems that my lines are now much thinner, as well when displayed on the screen and when

  print. Even if I try to do the original much thicker white lines, (like twice as big) once I use the pathfinder

  It still seems too thin, when printing and also when zoomed out on the screen.

  Anyone has an idea how to keep the same exact thickness before and after removing the white lines

  Suddenly, I realized that your external path can have a stroke. You can remove that before using the trace of pathfinder solutions, or you can use a mask opacity as follows:

  (1) select all the lines, which can be traced or exposed and group together them.

  (2) to select the entire document and in the transparency palette flyout click the with unchecked Clip opacity mask and mask invert checked.

• Display smooth tool problem
