  I'm building an interactive report based on pl/sql block.
  
  In the report, I get the columnnames with link (underlined). I'm confuse when I have the chance to see the names of columns like AGE_SEX, AGE_SEX_
  
  When I see these columns of interactive report, it seems to be as same as the underline covers underscore.
  
  Is their anyway I can remove the link to the interactive report columns.
  
  
  I selected the link column exclude from the column heading in the report but still attack link gets the link in the column.

It has a series of buttons for Sections of the catalogue and when the user presses the button he fills a hidden element that is in the where the criteria catalogue, all it works fine with one exception:

  It also helps explain what you tried (even better, Show us what you have tried on apex.oracle.com).

  You can view the IR to the default icon via a dynamic Action: + {: identifier of the thread = 2187972} + (obviously using "ICON" rather than "RETAIL"...)

  However, do you really intend to make use of other interactive report features? It seems that the report display is controlled by custom buttons, rather than shares of IR (filters, control breaks etc.). If this is the case then a standard report based on a custom template may be a better option than to try to work around all that offer interactive reports.

• Affecting a hidden page looking for the interactive report null element

  Hi all
  
  I'm a newb APEX and don't really understand processing and calculations very well yet. I want to do something fairly simple however.
  
  I have a page with an interactive report and two hidden page items. I want to set the value of these two elements with the NULL value when someone search the interactive report. Any way to do it?

• Initial value for the interactive report

  I have an interactive report that has a where clause condition clause: where =(:P50_employeeName) used.

  (: P50_employeeName) is a a list of selection without value null. When the page loads the selection list displays the value employee1, but the interactive report is empty. It's not until I select another value within the selection list becoems active report. How I can so when page loading the interactive report shows instead of being blank? I can't the values of hard employee-coding as each user can see only the user in their Department.

  Since I don't know all your table structure, it was just a quick sampling of the approach.

  I guess that your LOV would have the correct where clause to control its content, and you can add additional conditions to the IR where clause as well.

  Here is an example of one of my IR where clauses

  the case when: P200_DEPARTMENT = 0 then 1

  When: P200_DEPARTMENT <> 0 and: P200_CREW = 0 and: P200_DEPARTMENT = c.crewdeptkey, 1

  When: P200_DEPARTMENT <> 0 and: P200_CREW | " <> 0 and: P200_CREW = c.crewkey, 1

  You have set the value of vRow to the value of the number box i which is checked. There is probably nothing in the apex_application.g_f03 with RESIDD as index table

  What you want is hollow loop all the hidden objects g_f02
  and with in this loop through all verified elements checkbox g_f01
  and if the values of these in the game, you have your line for checking f03

  First of all, I created an interactive report with this simple query

  Select col_A 1, 2 Col_D of the double

  (2) later, I changed the query like this

  Select col_A 1, 1 col_C, 2 double Col_D

  But when I run the report of the new added column appears in the end?

  I already tried to rearrange the order of the columns in the browser menu, but the question remains.

  Any ideas?

  I have a column in an IR data type is varchar2 (4000).

  I want to restrict this report to a width of 200 column and if the text is longer, it should go on the next line.

  I've tried several things (in the HTML page header

  Theme 15 trigger rendering quirks mode in IE8 which does not support the td[headers="LONGDESCR"] attribute selectors, where your problems above.

  Quick and dirty approach: wrap the column LONGDESCR in a div in the query and the whole of the column display as column report Standard attribute:

  It will be however cause problems elsewhere with HTML code that appears in IR filter, export etc.

  More refined approach: apply the style using JavaScript instead of CSS. Using jQuery in this app?

  Best approach: pass the time, all this takes in the upgrade to the latest version of the APEX and a decent browser.

• problem with href in the text of the interactive report column

  One of my IR column contains the href tag, and when I try to do any operation (filter, sort, etc.) by clicking on the column header in IR it throws javascript error (unknown runtime error). I think that since the value of the column has a link text in it, something goes wrong with the built-in IR feature.
  
  It works with firefox but not in IE 6 or IE 7.

  I don't know if your needs would allow for it, but I've made the following changes:
  1 added two columns to store the data of the manufacturer more standardized: title and url
  2 displays the title column in the IR, but the column is a link using the URL.
  3. enter in the URL as URL column and added a target = "_blank" attribute as well.

  You can always hide the URL column.

• Filter column position of the interactive report

  Hi all!

  First of all, sorry my English.

  I have a problem with filters standart on the interactive report column heading. Version 4.0.2 APEX. It is interactive report based on the view. Nothing unusual - behavior and the default templates. I have also the region of filter on the page, and after user-press "apply" button my package variables to session state of filter. View used these values. It is worked and filtered interactive report. But when I try also to use the filters on the heading of the column that is nothing past. I have try the column type: report Standart column and display text. I have try the Filter Type column: by default based on the Type of column and the list defined by the use of... Contain. Nothing, as no filter exists at all. Filtering with worked as usual action buttons. I think that this problem in a SEPARATE implicit in this filter. I know that there are quantitative limitation of DISTINCT values with column header filter, but I have nothing in the filter. And even I have type the value and press ENTER, nothing happened. Columns with Date type is fine, but String and number does not.

  There is no work around? Thank you.

  Solved within "parameterized" view, remove and replace with SELECT with params.

• link to the interactive report with filter

  I tried to put in place a link to an interactive report in passing along a filter setting using the method described in the user guide. I've tried everything I can think of to make it work, but the report always ends by displaying as unfiltered. I don't get any errors, I don't see any filtering. I tried to directly modify the URL and adding the filter data (that is, add IREQ_ParentSeqID:2 to the URL) and I also tried to pass the filter data by creating a branch from another page and have the branch collar data. In both cases, I was unable to make it work. When I create the filter directly in the report, it works fine. Here is a sample
  URL: / f? p123:1302:3440331697632217:no:IREQ_ParentSeqD:2
  
  The URL takes me to the correct page but no filtering occurs. Here is the definition of the column in the interactive report:
  Column name: ParentSeqID
  Column type: NUMBER

  What happens if you remove the EQUALIZATION of the setting? Theoretically, it shouldn't matter, but I always send my equals as just IR_COLUMN and it works fine.

  and see if that makes a difference? Just a shot in the water.

  If this does not work, try to delete the alias for the moment and sending the column full name and see if that makes a difference. I wonder if its because your alias is in a specific case (per the "")

  I want to put a link to a page that contains an interactive report. But the link must set up a filter for the interactive report.
  
  For example, if I am looking at a customer, I want a link that sends me the reports, but filtered to show only this customer already.

  Set a parameter Anthony to ##.

  Example: Set IR_ORDER_ID to #ORDER_ID #.
  or for you
  Set IR_CUSTOMER_ID to #CUSTOMER_ID #.
