Hi, here to show messages sent from a computer nearby office, appear in the sent box, not happening now. Suspect needed to be changed for POP to xxxx. There is no wording 'tools' or 'accounts' in the whole of the line from the top, just under the Inbox tab, to make this change, or what changes, is to load of sent messages see the box sent, when messages are sent from a different computer, on the desk beside it.

In the upper left corner of the screen, it shows just Inbox. The get mail, writing etc do not display.
Looks like you have lost the e-mail toolbar.
You have a Menu bar with file-Edit-View etc?
If this is not the case, press alt or F10 to bring up.

original title: I wonder if it is possible to reverse the when it is on the left side of the screen so that the Start button is on the bottom instead of the top of the taskbar.
I have a laptop wide screen so I move the taskbar to the left for more vertical space. I was wondering if there is a way to return so that the Start button is on the bottom and all the small icons of notification are on top?
Hi Sparty11,
Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.
Unfortunately you can not return the taskbar to display the start menu to the basic button. It's normal. If you move to the left or right, in both cases the start menu button appears on the top left or top right of the task bar.
You can share your suggestions on tracking site.

Moved from start menu to the top right of the screen and the quick launch at bottom right bar
Menu start accidentally moved to the top right of the screen and the taskbar for quick launch at the bottom right of the screen. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem?
I assume you mean that the to-do bar everything is on the right side instead of the lower part of the screen?
Right-click on an empty spot in the taskbar and unlock it. Grad white spot a drag it down. Relock the taskbar.

I tried right clicking and pressing horizontal display and it is always vertical on the left side of the screen.
Click a location in the taskbar with the left button, hold down the button and drag the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

Original title: taskbar
My taskbar is vertical on the right side of the screen. How can I place horizontally at the bottom of the screen?
Right-click on the taskbar and make sure that lock the taskbar is not checked. Now click on taskbar and keep the left button of the mouse down and drag the mouse to the bottom of the screen - possibly the taskbar should move to the bottom of the screen. Right-click on the taskbar and make sure lock taskbar is checked

My taskbar has moved to the right side of the screen rather than on the bottom. Is it possible to fix?
1. right click on the taskbar and uncheck "lock the taskbar".
2. move the mouse on the border of the taskbar until the mouse turns into black arrow; then stop, left-button-down and drag the taskbar whenever you want.
3. then, you can lock the taskbar again.

How can I move the 'blue bar' with the start option and the clock and icons on the left side of the screen to the bottom of the screen. It's happened before and I forgot how to move.

I don't know how it happened, but the blue bar, I think he called a toolbar, which usually just runs along the bottom of my screen suddenly popped up and is now vertically on the left side of the screen.
Help, please
Disregard my first answer. My brain was thinking of Windows 7.
Right-click on the taskbar and make sure lock taskbar is disabled. Now take an empty spot on the taskbar and just drag it down. Re-lock the taskbar when finished.Bruce Hagen

If you mean that you want the taskbar to be placed at the top of the screen...
Right-click on the taskbar, don't check that no check mark to 'lock the taskbar '.
Method 1:
Left-click in the taskbar and HOLD > drag the taskbar to the top of the screen.
Method 2:
Right click on the task bar > click Properties > tab taskbar at the top > in place of the taskbar on the screen, click on the pointer, and then select top > click OK when finished.

How do you reposisition the toolbar background down

My tool bar downstairs was on the right side of the screen when I turned on the PC this morning. How do come back on the bottom?
You say "toolbar." Do you mean the taskbar?
Although by default, the taskbar is displayed on the bottom of the screen,
It can be on any of the sides on what you prefer. To move any
side to side, simply click an unused portion and drag
where you want it. Don't forget to click inside it, not on the edge.
by clicking on the edge and dragging will resize not move.If it does not move, it can be locked. In this case, right click on it
and uncheck "Lock the taskbar", then try again. Moreover, with the screen monitors wide today, I prefer the taskbar
on the left or the right of the screen. I think that allows a better
use of real estate than have it at the bottom of screen.

The screen of the monitor reduced a bit, all the small icons and other stuff that was on the bottom of the screen is now aligned on the left side of the screen.
Right-click on the taskbar and unlock it. Take an empty place and slide it downwards. Lock the taskbar.See also: how to move the taskbar from its default position Windows or put it back to its default position
