TOSHIBA burning software - erase disc

Hi all.
I have a problem with TOSHIBA software (one, which distributes with toshiba hardware) burning. I used it today to burn data on CD (there was some data on it, but the disc was still open). So I insterted the disc, the program open, select files to burn and press OK. Software asked me if I want to delete the data that was on the CD before burning. CD was just aren't RW, so I pressed ok. I thought that it is not possible to erase recordable disks. After burning, I checked the data, and I saw him, the data that was there before burning were really deleted, all that remained were only new data! I tried to check if they may not hiden or like that, but they were really far. Data were very important, so I would like to ask you, how is it that they drive disspared R and is it possible to retrieve the?

Thank you much for the help. Pois0n.

Hi poison.

It's very strange. I've never heard anything like that. Can you please tell me what that burning software you use?

I guess the Toshiba "Disc Creator" is not supported by iTunes? Gift; t really want to buy a package of disc burner - any ideas how bypass this problem?

    Hello

I m not a user of iTunes, but you can try another burning software disc which is freeware. It s called CD Burner XP and works on most versions of Windows.

In my opinion, it has the same functions as Nero, you can burn data, audio and video discs and also copy discs but it s fast as Nero.

    It s worth a try! ;)

    Hello

To my knowledge the software Sonic is part of the Toshiba Recovery CD and it of not possible to download the full version on the web.
If you want to use it, you need to retrieve the laptop but you will lose the previous OS, data and files.

PS: I use Nero with WinXP and I m not satisfied no problem at all.

  • Satellite A300D - 21(d) - burning software does not recognize my optical drive

    Greetings,
I've updated preinstalled Vista Home with Vista Bussiness x 64, and since then, I have problems with my optical drive. Notepad is a month old.

It reads CDs and DVDs without problem, but when I start the burning software (Toshiba Disc Creator and Burner XP Pro), it can not read my camera. BurnerXP Pro it says 'no compatible drives', and Toshiba DC I first get a few repeat mistakes (32007C-26-00000001, 32019-26-00000001) and when I click on 'disc information', it has no options in the drop-down menu "Drive".

When I insert the blank disc, Windows gives me an option to burn files using Windows, although I have not yet tried.

I tried to reinstall the drivers, but it does not help. My firmware is also updated.

The device is TSST corp CDDVDW TS - L633A Ata Device.

    Any help is welcome, thanks!

  • Can not burn on erase CD-RW/DVD-RW and CD - R, DVD + R, DVD-R

I have a Dell Laptop with Vista SP1 Professional Latitude E6500 on it. A colleague of mine and I cannot understand why these laptops will NOT burn on all disks. Here are the following things we tried:
    -Replace the CD/DVD-RW drives, twice.
-Change of registry by deleting upper and lower filters
    -updated the Chipset and drivers
    -Reinstalled the o/s

The laptop seems to recognize media when it is inserted, but if it's a RW and try to format it, it fails. If we use the wizard of Windows erasing, it 'SAYS' it has been deleted, but nothing has changed. If we try to burn all the data of all disks, he says its full but comes up with no information. And Yes, we used the Windows software of engraving too and closed the session and tried the other option compatibility with older systems, and still nothing. We tried to use 10 OF Roxio to burn also and still get the blank discs.
Any suggestions? Would it be a registry entry or a service?

    Hi all

I can find a BLu - Ray burner, but the software that allows you to burn BLu - Ray still seems a bit sketchy.

Is it safe to burn it to Blu - Ray in the FCX? This option requires no other software right? The iMac and FCX

Burn inside FCPX works very well but it is facing issues like burning DVDs, especially subtle graphics or menu glitches that are difficult to track down or weird user errors.

I'm surprised that the software did not work.

    See if this version works...

This package provides CyberLink Power2Go in the supported models running a supported operating system. CyberLink Power2Go is a burning software that allows users to burn data, music or video disks. It offers support for CD, DVD, HD DVD and Blu - ray discs and includes features for disk copy.

    Hello

My first question: do you use the Toshiba OS since the Toshiba Recovery CD?
Have you install and use multiple applications all burning?

To my knowledge the practice he s not advised to use burning different programs together.
You must use only one. I recommend Nero. It s nice.
If the sonic is installed on the HARD drive, try to remove it and use only nero.

If the drive is not able to manage DVD media, you should check the different brands.
