Total in forms

Hi all

I have a problem with my total field in my form.

the block of detail has rebate_amount field where I need to enter the amount of the refund and it's multi line.
Once I have enter the refund amount there is a field of total in the main block, I t must be updated with the total amount.

I could sum it up... but the problem is if I get 1 00 with a space between his goes to an infinite loop and I have to close the entire application. Is there a better way to make this sum?

Please find the code and the attached screenshot.

Thank you
Smail

Start
: XX_AP_RR_HDR. TOTAL: = 0;
premier_enregistrement;
loop
: XX_AP_RR_HDR. TOTAL: = nvl(:XX_AP_RR_HDR.) TOTAL, 0) +: XX_AP_RR_DTLS. REBATE_AMOUNT;
If (: system.last_record = 'TRUE') then
"exit";
on the other
next_record;
end if;
end loop;
next_item;
end;

Above the properties "Summarizes Block" and "Summed up the Item" there is another property where you choose the mode "computation". You will need to set to calculate the amount.

  • Question form: How to get the percentage calculated?

    Hello!

    I have a form that is a Bill as form. I can't get the front total tax, then plug the percentage tax amount (it varies depending on the County, so it cannot be a static number), then adding total before tax plus taxes. HOWEVER, I also need to know what total percentage tax is in the form of $.

    For example:

    BOX A - Total before taxes: $10.00 (calculated by the form of the total above form)

    BOX B - percentage of the tax: 10% (filled by the user)

    BOX C - Total AMOUNT: $ 11.00 (calculated from above)

    What I need too, is:

    BOX - total tax: $1

    Its final form:

    BOX A - Total before taxes: $10.00

    BOX B - percentage of the tax: 10%

    BOX C - total taxes: $1

    AREA D - Total AMOUNT: $ 11.00

    Thank you!

    Is box B a real percentage field, or is it just a body of numbers?

    If the first case, as the custom calculation of box C script enter:

    Event.Value = number (this.getField("Box_A").value) * number (this.getField("Box_B").value).

    If it's the latter, then copy the following code:

    Event.Value = number (this.getField("Box_A").value) * (number (this.getField("Box_B").value) / 100);

    Then set the calculation of the D box as being the sum of area A and area C.

  • Acrobat XI Windows 7 - impossible (copy and) paste form fields in different PDF.

    In order to maintain a consistent look and function in the forms I create for various departments, I copy a few independent form (text, checkboxes) of a PDF Acrobat fields. Then I paste these fields in another PDF document that I am to fill.

    I do this because Acrobat does not define a default value for some attributes when creating form fields, i.e. an option deselected scroll, one font by default other than Helvetica (in Acrobat 8, 9 and X). Plus, it's save time to copy and paste fields that are the same in another PDF file, such as name, address, telephone. etc.

    We have just upgraded to Acrobat XI and Windows 7 and now I can't paste copied fields on a different PDF.

    To help 'replace the pages' is not applicable, as I am sticking to a totally different form and copy the form fields with the settings I use.

    Is this a bug or something new that wasn't in Acrobat 8, 9 and X is?

    In addition, question about this forum - http://forums.adobe.com/message/5638333#5638333 - article which is somewhat different from my current question.

    The PDF Creator cannot paste fields copied on other pages of the same PDF file. This was never resolved so that copy / paste worked like he did during the last 3 versions of Acrobat?

    I recommend you:

    1. check the hardware requirements. (WIndows server, probably). The cost of the server is probably negligible, although you have to buy a new one.

    2. estimate the total use (forms, form users) over a year and the lifetime of the project.

    3. contact a sales representative and obtain a preliminary price quote based on your use,.

  • Can I use stock RAM since the mid-2012 MBP aluminium end-2008 MB?

    This is my first post so I apologize if it is not posted in the right place.

    I have a late 2008 aluminium MacBook (2.0 GHz) with 2 GB of RAM and a mid-2012 MacBook Pro (2.5 GHz) with 4 GB of RAM.

    I want to upgrade the RAM of these two laptops, but in the most effective way possible. I wanted to buy an upgrade to 8 GB for my Macbook Pro for mid-2012, then use 4 GB of this machine to upgrade my end-2008 aluminium MacBook.

    Is it possible to use the RAM from mid-2012 MacBook Pro aluminum end-2008 MacBook? Would be great, if so.

    Thank you!

    Nope, totally different form.

  • When selecting several fields of the same type why tab formatting does not appear in the properties?

    Creating pdf with lines Qty and total order forms, I want to format the fields as number with 0 decimal places for the qty column and the sign $ and 2 decimals for the totals column.

    Why when choosing several fields quantity, then go to properties, the format tab disappear? Why do I have to choose and the format of each field one at a time? They have the same type of field.

    I'm working currently on a document with more than 200 fields are most of the quantity fields and others are total fields. I right click on each field individually.

    It's 2015! Can you imagine if Excel did it?... Adobe WTF?

    Only the Adobe developers can answer why it is like that, but it's unfortunately.

    The only solution is to use a script to set the Format setting for several fields at the same time.

    I developed such a tool, so if you are interested you can get it here: Scripts custom Adobe: Acrobat - Format applies to several text fields

  • Order form does not update grand total calculation until I have indicate a number on the next line.

    I created a purchase order with a "quantity" column, a column of job description, a unit price column and a point $ column total. I've set the total column of $ point to calculate automatically once a quantity and unit price entered, and it works immediately once the unit price and quantity entered. But my grand total at the bottom of the total column $ is set to calculate all the lines of total $ point, but the total general don't not updated to reflect the $ total for a given line (e.g. line B) until I have begin to type a number for the next line (e.g. line C). So, I always end up having to create a line of extra reserved space with a quantity of 0, just to get my total general to update. Is there a way to fix this?

    It is most likely a problem with the calculation of field order. You must ensure that the total is calculated after row grand totals.

    This can be set in form editing mode, under the order of computation of Set field - other tasks.

    I am creating a total field contingent in a PDF form created by me which will only add cost in total ONLY if the box is checked.  Another disadvantage to this is one of the fields (number of monitors), I am eager to multiply by the field notes, which is a field required number on there.

  • Order form to fill in with drop-down Menus - total does not

    Hi all

    I use Adobe Scrobat to create a purchase order.

    The user is prompted to enter the price of number, description, quantity and unit part.

    I set up the form so that the Total D/N will be equal to the amount of time the unit D/N. All unit D/Ns are total to give us a Total (the dealer net).

    I coded the form so that when a family (immediate and extended) type is selected from a drop-down menu, some discount will be applied to giving us a subtotal. For example, if the execution is applied, then 20% will be deducted. Even if a certain province is selected in a menu drop-down, a certain tax will be applied to calculate the subtotal, give us the Total amount. For example, if Ontario is selected then a 13% tax will be added to the order.

    The problem is that the Total will be calculated correctly that if the Province and the Types of families are selected AFTER all of the unit and the quantity D/Ns were seized.

    If gout is drowning are selected before entering the order information, the form WILL NOT be updated the total amount.

    It has become very frustrating and I watched all and trying to solve the problem several times. Finally, I resorted to the forum.

    Help, please!

    The form can be found here:

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/3e0965ccnnl5i59/order%20Form.PDF?DL=0

    It does not resemble the field calculation order is correct. The field 'Total Net dealer' is the last, but looks like he should be placed just before the "Family Discount" field.

  • help create dynamic measures to calculate the total amount in the form of tabluar

    Hello world

    We using apex 4.2 and start re-writing some existing applications originally designed in 3.0.   I was wondering if someone could help me with the following scenario.

    I have a tabular presentation several recording based on a collection called "species_collection".  The form allows fisherman to create an electronic ticket which contains one species, quantity, price, total of the amounts and other descriptive information on the species.  I created a dynamic action (with lots of help from this forum) to automatically update the collection when a field is changed.

    I am now in the hope of creating a dynamic action that will automatically do the following:

    • When the quantity is changed, recalculate the total of the amounts as quantity * price
    • When the price is changed, recalculate the total of the amounts as quantity * price
    • When dollars changed, recalculate the $ amount/total price.
    • When the total amount is changed, recalculate the OVERALL TOTAL

    Currently, I use embedded calls to javascript and then to application processes... but they are difficult to debug, and it seems that dynamic action could be cleaner and simpler.

    the current request is (I've included the concerned fields because it is an important application):

    SELECT
    apex_item.text(1,seq_id,'','','id="f01_'||seq_id,'','') "DeleteRow",
    seq_id,
    seq_id display_seq_id,
    .....
    apex_item.text(10,TO_NUMBER(c010),5,null, 'onchange="setTotal('||seq_id||')"','f10_'||seq_id,'') Quantity,

    apex_item.text(11,TO_NUMBER(c011),5,null,'onchange="getPriceBoundaries('||seq_id||')"','f11_'||seq_id,'') Price,

     ......

    I have it.  trial and error.

    the DYNAMICS of the evolution of prices and the $ action are now two separate dynamic actions.

    Action DYNAMICS to update the column from the collection is now last... and it seems that everything works... until I have change something again.

  • No totals calculation in Acrobat forms

    I'm setting up a very basic shape for my accounting group.  This form must be just calculate RatePerMile x MilesTraveled at the MileageTotal equality and totals of Bkf + lunch + dinner + cool accessories + accommodation MILTotal equal the sum.  He is an acrobat form, and given that the request was simple, I used the tab default calculations for each of the totals.  The problem is in fact none of the totals returns a result.

    By reading related problems on the forums, I thought that the solution might be to set the order of computation of field.  But this option is grayed out, despite the fact that I currently have at least 3 calculations in the form at the moment.

    I'm working on Acrobat 9.4.7 on Windows XP, but I also took a glance on 9.4.7 on Windows machine just to see if the problem could be with my installation of Acrobat.  At this point, all I can think is that there is one simple thing, I forget which would have the results appear.  Any ideas?

    I don't know how you have created the form fields, but if you delete it in Acrobat and re-create them, then they work.

    With an array of fields as, I found using scripts custom calculation to calculate the field names may cause the less code and a copy of the code to be updated to correct an error of calculation.

    So I set up a purchase order in acrobat format. The user enters a quantity for each item and the item subtotal and total combined costs are calculated. The problem - to open the PDF file and entering the quantity first, the point subtotal updates but the total remains zero. Once any other field is changed or if the first field is changed a second time, the combined total updates. Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance for the help. the form can be downloaded here- http://www.vermontel.com/~KNSH/beta/knsh_order_form.PDF

    It is a problem with the calculation of field order.

    (In Acrobat X) Go to the form view edit and then click on other tasks - Edit

    Fields - Set field calculation order...

    Change the order so that subtotal is greater in total.

  • Total value in a PDF form fields

    Acrobat Pro 9.4.1.

    Have been using a form with 14 fields of value (number, £, 2 decimal places) and a total field which is the (+) sum of 14 values - absolutely well brought.

    I changed the first 3 values so that everyone is now the (x) product of two quantities - for example

    Qty 10 x qty £1 giving the value of field £10.00

    Qty 5 x qty £5 giving the value of field £25.00

    Qty. 8 x qty £10 giving the value of field £80.00

    value total £115.00

    So for each the first quantity (in bold) is variable and is filled in by the client, while quantity second, £1, £5 and £10 is invisible read-only. The calculation works everywhere give me each field value, but after line 3 that the total field below does not include the value for the calculation of £10, but for this, if I select another field tabs on the form which is after the total value field in the tab order. This has not happened before that on the original form - total was instant and has happened, once a value has been entered in each of the first 3 values.

    The only thing that has changed is that these values are now the product of two quantities (x).

    Any ideas.

    The most likely cause is that the field calculation order is incorrect. Set it so it makes sense for your form. In Acrobat 9, go in form editing mode and select "forms > edit fields > set field calculation stopped... '. »

  • Total field of the order form

    Hello

    I was wondering if someone could help me; I am creating an interactive order form with more than 100 products and I can't to get the total fields work properly. I have to this day and for some reason that I can't understand why it doesn't work for me.

    I put a custom field 'total' calculation script, but it doesn't seem to be something. Here is the code:

    var subEXcost = 0;

    for (i = 1; i < 110; i ++) {}
    subEXcost = (this.getField("exCost"+i).value * this.getField("Q"+i).value);
    }

    Event.Value = subEXcost;

    I read somewhere here that the fields of this loop uses need to be named 'exCost.', 'q' etc. - apparently, you need the positioning of the '.' -is it true? As you can see above I did not it again as if it's true, I have to spend by renaming all 270 + fields! I don't really want to do this unless I know it's supposed to be like this? So can someone answer this for me?

    The order is likely to grow with products, so he must be a loop to calculate totals - as there are ex VAT, including VAT and a total including p & p.

    Anyone able to help? I've also attached the PDF file for you to watch.

    Thanks in advance

    Your loop guard replaces the event.value.

    You must use either event.value += exPrice.value * qnty.value;

    or use a variable which will calcualte the total value and apply it to event.value, as follows:

    Total = 0;

    for (i = 1; i< 110;="" i++)="">

    Console.println ("get the number of fields:" + i); for the purposes of debugging

    var exPrice = this.getField ("exCost" + i);
    var qnty = this.getField ("Q" + i);

    If (exPrice! = null & qnty! = null) / / make sure that the fields actually exist

    Total += exPrice.value * qnty.value;

    }

    Total = Event.Value;

    In addition, this should probably be a caluclation custom script.
