Touch pad freezes on the Satellite A350-02 t

I just bought a new laptop Satellite A350-02 t. I used only twice, and both times that I used it, the touchpad, at some point, has stopped working. Well, not 'stopped', but becomes fountain, figitty, freezes, stands... it's pretty hard to explain.

It move a little and then freeze, then move slightly and freeze.

Also, I noticed yesterday when I was with her, the scroll option no longer works. I've been a .pdf document display and it was allowing me to scroll through a second, then the next second, I couldn't scroll. I tried to open the web browser and scroll but it still wouldn't let me. I restarted the computer, and it seemed well again.

Any suggestions?

Hello!

Have you tested an external mouse on the laptop? It works or not?

It's really hard to say what the reason for this is because I m not a technician mobile but have you tried to update the driver for the touchpad? You can find it on the Toshiba site:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

What operating system you use, and you have installed the laptop with the Toshiba recovery disc or disc of Microsoft?

Good bye

  • Re: A few questions with the Satellite A350-12J

My father-in-law's cell phone is the Satellite 350 and I think there 12j after his name.

We re-installed Vista 32 bit the other day and he said that some things do not work as they should.

First of all, if he presses the FN key, and say the s, the brightness, it works but he used to have a small dock type thing will appear at the top of the screen with icons of FN button. The other don t FN keys work well as the permutation of switch monitor.

Second keys soft touch media don t work as turning off the lights behind them or bring up media player.

We have evidence and tried to install the value pack but he said during the installation that he was withdrawing the package so it must have already been installed. After having re-installed, there is no difference. I can't find any program or whatever it is in the Panel for her.
Also, I tried the same thing to the hardware configuration. Once again, it seems telling herself it was there and uninstall. Yet once I re-installed but t still can't find anything for him anywhere for me to change any settings or anything like that.

I don't have the laptop with me good that now it is at home, but I think I got it.

    All ideas welcome.

Each Toshiba laptop comes with the pre-installed operating system and the old A350 will be delivered with Vista, so I would like to know if it is possible for you to use this original picture of the recovery.
Have your father in law created recovery DVD such as recommended by Toshiba?

I guess you are trying to install the version of Vista clean, right?

  • No way to disable the touchpad on the Satellite A350 - 208 (PSAL6E)

I have an A350-208 (PSAL6E) with windows 7 Pro 64 bit NL. I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 installed Bluetooth mouse. It works very well. But every time I work on my laptop I seem to touch my touchpad by accident, or pressure on the keyboard and then my cursor is going to suddenly somewhere else in senctence en I'm typing complete garbage. It's something that I had resolved in XP by disabling the touchpad. But now, on windows 7 there is no tot so possebillity.

Please can someone help me to disable the touchpad?

Type this little piece of text takes me a lot longer while my cursor place whenever I type to another location in the words.

Win7 works perfectly on this laptop model, and if you have installed all the controls, including utility flash cards you should be able to disable the touch pad using the FN + F9 key combination.
    Can you do this?

  • Upgrade memory on the Satellite A350-10I

    I have a Toshiba satellite A350 10I. I want to increase the RAM 2x2gb ddr2 800 MHz memory.

Can be changed with ddr3? The motherboard will support?

This kind of upgrade can be. RAM upgrade must be done with 100% compatible modules. Faster RAM will not help at all. It depends on the motherboard THAT FSB accelerated. If you use the memory modules as soon as they be pointing down.

How do you upgrade the drive HARD and fast use of SSDS?

    Hello

My laptop is Toshiba Satellite A350-22Z. My GSP does not work. GPS Utility from Toshiba said GPS not supported, but I'm sure that I used my GPS on this computer. After that I reinstalled Windows 7 Ultimate x 64, I couldn't not do GPS works.

I installed the drivers 3G and Toshiba Wireless Manager.
But still I could not find the necessary driver/software.

This who should I guess what to do?

    Thanks in advance...

According to the specifications of the laptop this model has 3G and comes with Windows Vista 32 bit.
I believe you that you have used the 3G with original OS because it contains Ericsson 3 G driver and Toshiba 3 G RF Control Utility.

You will find download page to download both of them for Win7 on Toshiba?

  • Chicony webcame is not working on the Satellite A350-12j and Win 7 64 bit

    Hello

The chicony webcam does not work on my toshiba Satellite A350-12j and windows 7 64 bit...

I always get different errors as
    "graphics make it fail."
"the device is locked by another program.
    etc...

I tried many things and watch them on a lot of messages, but nothing does. I installed a lot of drivers and programs to solve, but nothing works.
at first the camera was ok but now nothing seems to help and the camera is broken...

    Can you help me??

    Thank you!

    > seen as 1 million messages like mine and not even 1 right answer on how to solve it!
I guess you didn't read all these messages correctly

The user Symbian wrote that her webcam works fine! He used the software/driver for the Toshiba page as well

Since the Skype reports an unknown error too, I guess that this whole thing has noting to do with the webcam software, but with your Windows 7 installed!

Seems a registry keys, files or all what it might be, are confused upward!
In your case, I would try a new installation! Install Win 7 and the Toshiba drivers/software.
    Then test the webcam.

Don t install any 3rd party software before you would test the webcam!

  • Problems with the reader of CD/DVD on the Satellite A350-12j

    Hello

I just bought my laptop, Toshiba Satellite A350-12j, two weeks ago and am generally happy with it, but I can't seem to read correctly the data DVD.

When I try to play a DVD that I burned on my data desktop PC, the laptop starts to read, but takes very, very long time.
When I try to copy the data on the DVD of my laptop, it takes forever (I tried once for 45 minutes and then abandoned) and after a while it starts to claim it can read most of the files on the DVD.
It is not the data on the disks which raises problems, cause when I transfer those my desktop to my laptop computer on a Flash DRIVE instead of a DVD, files are copied immediately without problem.

At first I thought it could be due to the DVDs themselves (I use TDK DVD + ROM), or perhaps that Vista was the culprit, but I tried the same exact discs on my friends laptop Medion also running Vista and it is having no problem whatsoever.

Anyone have any ideas what could be the cause, or better yet, which could solve it?

    Thanks in advance!

    Eva

    > When I try to play a DVD that I burned on my data desktop PC, the laptop starts to read, but takes very, very long time.

Hmm I think this could be a problem of DVD not entirely compatible.
My laptop drive s couldn t read or write DVDs from different manufacturers.
I tested a lot of disks and now I m using TDK DVD-R.

But it of always different. Maybe your drive would not support this disc correctly, but another disk would be better supported

I think you should test it simply. There are many manufacturers different drive don t give up buddy

  • On the Satellite A350-12Z power problem

    Hello

Since today im problems with my diet.

    What's happening:

When I connect my power adapter to charge my battery the battery sign comes on for 2 seconds and then turn off again. Windows does not recognize recharge the battery.

Now I ' m unable to give more details, because the battery has gone flat.

If I remove the battery and try AC only the laptop will not connect. The battery must be inserted in order to start. so the power will go to the battery first, then the system which is quite strange.

The battery itself shows no signs of damage / leaks.

    Output voltage on DC: 19.55VDC @ A 6.32
AC adapter: specifications and my readings, not defective.

    Model: Satellite A350-12z

    Thank you

    Hello

Are you using the original Toshiba battery and AC/DC adapter or some parts of 3rd party?

That's why strange notebook doesn t start without battery. Usually, you can always start your laptop with an AC/DC adapter, battery is not necessary.

So either it's something wrong with the AC adapter or motherboard right now I think that it s mainboard failure.

  • Installed the programs see the emptiness on the Satellite A350-212

    Hello

I hope someone can help here. My brother left England in the Turkey a couple of years ago and his cell phone, which was the United Kingdom's irreparable, so he bought one in Turkey, A Toshiba Satellite A350-212 and has problems with the downloads. For example he downloaded a free trial of Coverxp and he seemed to download ok and asked if he wanted a shortcut on the desktop. He said yes to the shortcut, and as I say, it seemed to have installed ok.

The iicon office never appeared and the Coverxp in all programs also shows empty.
This is the case for most of the things it has downloaded, such as the trial version of Winrar.
In programs and features uninstall, applications are here. In my view, this could be a security problem.

All the things he tried to install it I installed on Vista without any problems

If anyone can help with information ill be most gratefull

    Thank you.

    Hi mate

First I put t think it's a problem of Toshiba.
I recommend saving the downloaded packages somewhere on the second partition.
Then go to that partition and unzip the package.
    Then follow the installation instructions.

By the way; shortcuts on the desktop can be created manually.
Simply right-click on desktop and create a new shortcut and point to the exe of the installed software.

My laptop L750 keyboard and touch pad stopped working on start up. I now use a USB mouse and on-screen keyboard to do anything either. I have tried several things to fix, but nothing seems to work.

I've updated keyboard drivers, tried related work key, updated and run antivirus software and restored to a point in time before the show. Still no luck.

    Any ideas?
    Thank you

Can you please send the link to download? It is unclear to me that the own keyboard driver.

In any case, can you use keyboard and touchpad if you start the operating system in safe mode?
Are you using the original pre-installed OS that you got with your laptop?

I have a Satellite A350 and USB ports recognized the mouse, but no other entry. It does not recognize a USB drive or Logitech microphone or my Flip video.

Anyone know what is happening? Thank you!

USB controller drivers are responsible for these functions. These drivers are part of the chipset drivers. Try to reinstall/upgrade to update chipset utility:

  • Strange problem with light touches on the Satellite A350-10z

    Hello

I have a Toshiba A350-10z with windows 7 x 64. When I got a Vista everything was all straight light keys working properly.
Now the keys have different functions - the key to 'silence' runs my player for example. And there is another problem - my 'FN' key does not work.

When I use TI - OS shows an error and ask me to close the application. I can run these shortcuts by the mouse. Is there a driver for this?
I can't found on the download site.

Please install the package of added value for your laptop model.

If you already have it out of the system, and after restarting the laptop install it again.

  • Screen touch intermittent support on the Satellite P50T-A-10U

I bought the laptop above Satellite P50t-A-10U at the weekend, and I managed to see the work on touch screen twice, once it works it'll work perfectly until the start/stop, but 90% of the time it does not meet the entry touch (I must have rebooted about 20 - 30 times).

Windows recognizes touch he is capable, but Setup/calibrate in "Tablet PC settings" options do not meet most of the time of entry.

The only thing in the event log indicates "a multi-touch reported coordinated incompatible device.
I've updated all the drivers I can find, running Windows 8.1, but it didn't work out of the box (with Windows 8.0).

Is this a problem of material or just dodgy drivers?

It seems that you are the first who shared this question here in the community.
Because I'm not very well if its software or hardware related problem, I recommend you to reset the system m back to the factory settings.
