  I have a HP MINI 110-3100 and I install windows7 Home premium 32-bit.

  After intallation, I noticed that some drivers are missing, so I don't have a wifi connection.

  I recently formatted my notebook compaq presario v3749au without the recovery disks, because my cd drive does not work. When I saw in the Device Manager, it says that 'sm bus controller, coprocessor and base system device' drivers are missing. • Satellite Pro L870 - missing some drivers for Win 7 - unknown device DEV_1E3A

  Just took delivery of some new L870 Pro of Satellite we have reinstalled Windows 7 but seem to be missing some drivers. I downloaded installed all the drivers available from the download site but we still have an unknown device.

  Looking around it can be an IMEI chip but I was not able to confirm the DEV ID of any of our sources generally. Does anyone have an idea what it is and where I could get the 64 bit Windows 7 drivers?

  To my knowledge, the 8086 Dev_ID belongs to Intel
  So there must some Intel driver.

  Have you installed all the drivers for the Toshiba driver page? Do this

  I have a Satellite P25-s607 I just do a clean reinstall of Windows XP media center edition windows home edition and the following drivers are not installed: Ethernet controller, multimedia audio controller, PCI modem and video controller (VGA compatible). all the four elements falls under other devices in Device Manager and the Device Manager doesn't give any information other than the other device and manufacturer = unknown.

  You simply install the missing drivers, buddy ;)

  OK you might ask how to find these drivers.

  This laptop was designed for the American market, therefore, it would be desirable to search for the drivers on the Toshiba site us ;)

  I installed and found all other drivers, but can't seem to find the correct drivers for the network and ethernet devices controllers.

  I guess you need a Wlan card and LAN driver card.
  I a little surprised at your comment, because the WLan and LAN drivers are available on the page of the Toshiba m driver.

  There are 2 Intel Lan and 4 Wlan drivers for different wireless cards. You must choose the right! ;)
  Check the bottom of the unit. There must be a label with a few s Lan and Wlan card information.
  Select the correct drivers and install it.

  I recently bought Toshiba L300 - 17L without any operating system and (unfortunately) no unmanned. I installed the Windows XP (with Service Pack 3) and was able to find most of the necessary drivers (of http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp).

  Of course, I put the option fixes hard drive compatible windows installed and first mentioned in other threads... but there is always some problem with "modem on high definition audio device" and "line controller.

  I was told that the modem drivers are found in the audio driver pack (btw its works ok), but do not know which is my model as with scanners of system (such as the Everest) I can't find the name of the modem.

  The same with 'line controller', as I said here are the drivers for the motherboard... but once more - the system scanners failed to tell me the specific name of the motherboard (only general information is it Intel and chipsets names... but they are in many motherboards).

  Thanks for any help, especially from people who had the same problems.

  Tried to install windows XP on my A300-22Z but has failed to do this since the custom of installing even start.

  Ive heard, installation is not some ICH6-7-8 drivers for the chipset so he can't go ahead and they must be integrated into the windows setup (winXPsp2) manually.

  In the download package, you will find the iata_cd.exe

  Use one of the command to extract the driver files you need to include to the Win XP.

  c:\iata_cd.exe - a - a - pc:------.

  When the command is run, the installation process begins; Just click through the dialogs as prompted. This will not install the driver, it will only extract the driver to files (path can be defined, for example, C:\SATA).
  Once the extraction is completed, the driver files are in (i.e. \Driver C:\SATA\Driver).

  There is no listing for your PC but the dv6 z told me he has an AMD processor and chipset.

  The service manual will tell you what AMD chipset version your laptop comes with.  Chapter 1, page 2.
