Track changes of parameter DB

Hello

DB version: 11.1.2.3.0

OS: OEL5

I'm trying to follow the link below, to find changes in the DB settings.

Kerry Osborne Oracle Blog"Blog Archive" followed changes to parameter - Oracle Kerry Osborne Blog

But I'm not able to receive the output after you change the setting a DB - session_cached_cursors.

SQL:

SELECT instance_number instance,
  snap_id,
  TIME,
  parameter_name,
  old_value,
  new_value
FROM
  (SELECT a.snap_id,
    TO_CHAR(end_interval_time,'DD-MON-YY HH24:MI') TIME,
    a.instance_number,
    parameter_name,
    value new_value,
    lag(parameter_name,1) over (partition BY parameter_name, a.instance_number order by a.snap_id) old_pname,
    lag(value,1) over (partition BY parameter_name, a.instance_number order by a.snap_id) old_value
  FROM dba_hist_parameter a,
    dba_Hist_snapshot b ,
    v$instance v
  WHERE a.snap_id      =b.snap_id
  AND a.instance_number=b.instance_number
  AND parameter_name LIKE NVL('session_cached_cursors',parameter_name)
  )
WHERE new_value   != old_value
ORDER BY 1,2;

Not sure where I'm wrong.

Any help is appreciated.

  • Lag when using track changes in the large document

I do experience lag when using "track changes" in a large .pages document (about 180 pages). I get the wheel of the Rainbow for about 10 seconds after completing each change, which makes it very difficult to obtain concrete results. Other applications on my computer work simultaneously without a hiccup. I use the latest version of the pages on the latest Mac OS. Anyone with a similar problem? Tips to solve this problem?

It's unfortunate that Apple has not adopted an icon "Achtung Minen!" for the v5 Pages. It is slower than the second coming on intermediate to large documents, and it only gets worse when you add images at higher resolution. Apple has not designed there is a professional-quality, or as a realistic replacement processor for MS Word.

There is nothing you can do, but seriously, re - evaluate your software solution for processing.

Here's an icon from the WAD of v5.6.2 request Pages. Prophetic isn't?

  • Pages: Track changes in tables not yet a feature?

I'm new to Pages for Mac and can't find a way to view changes in the tables with "Track Changes" active.  I found threads dating back to 2008 and 2014.  Can someone confirm me that since version 5.6.1 Pages still shows no track changes in tables?  If so, are there plans to add this 'feature '?  I work with documents that are for most of the paintings in the style 'information mapping' (topics on the explanations of left, right), if the track changes without being able to see the changes is a challenge.

Not supported. Can add text to the table cell with the tracking is enabled. Save the document and exit Pages v5.6.1. Open the same document and add additional text in the same cell. BACKSPACE on the original text of the cell should impose a strike-through color writer, but instead of this, deletes the original text.

Expect v5.6.1 Pages to be of professional quality software, but it is far from this achievement. What did you expect from free software that is less complete than all the alternatives realistic processor on the market today.

    Consider 2016 Office for Mac.

  • Pages is not track changes inside the text boxes?

I try to use Pages, industry changes, but it seems to be limited to body text. If I include images deleted, or if I change the text inside the text boxes, no changes are followed. What is a limit? (Version 5.6.1 of pages)

See this thread for an answer from VikingOSX, the short answer for the current Version is no.

  • Change the parameter [] strings in a sub - bound dynamically VI

I'm in a situation where I need to use the sub-panels to dynamically bind subVIs for data entry. I also like having the calling VI to change the [] parameter strings several enumerations in the Subvi, but this doesn't seem to be possible, as the Subvi is not in edit mode. Does anyone know of a way around this?

I read data from a file to initialize the enums, so that I can have the Sub - VI read the file instead, but I was hoping to do it once in the main VI and send strings to the subVIs to speed up execution.

    Thank you!

It's impossible.  Enums are set in stone at run time.  Oh wait, you try to use the script running.  Sorry, it does not work.  Note that the property for the [Strings] node for the enum is blue?  That tells you it is a script node and is useful for mounting screws over time edit.

As RavensFan said, you use a ring.  Their data type is a real number.

  • Track changes of dialog box too big for 10-inch netbook screen.

My Dell netbook 10-inch screen is too small (both high and low screen resolution) to display the entire dialog box.
This means that I can't change the default options in the track changes, because the OK button is a invisible and (b) inaccessible.
The idea of reducing the size of the dialog box does NOT, according to the forums, seems to be possible.
Any ideas to solve this problem would be appreciated.

    Hello derettens,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

Have you tried to hold the CTRL key on the keyboard and use the scroll of your mouse buttons. This will decrease the size of the font on your screen and you can see the whole dialogs on your screen.

Please let us know if that helps with your question.

  • MISP track changes made to a digitized table used during the conversion?

I need to convert several databases in AL32UTF8, which is 2 TB or so of size.  I want to reduce the outage window.  Most of the data is ASCII, but the character set is WE8ISO8859P15, so it is possible to get the non-ascii character in there.  My plan was to analyze the database while it is live, then run MISP during the blackout without a full re-analysis.  But I fear that a non-ascii character could go in there from scanning the failure.  The MISP track changes since the last scan, so just check the lines that have been added or changed since the scan?  In my tests limited until now, so it seems that complete analysis would take longer than the window of failure, a progressive solution would be wonderful.  However, I don't see how to make this happen.

    Thank you

    Mike has

No, the CDS is not currently able to track incremental changes. However, you could try to categorize paintings like those who can get new non-ASCII characters and those who cannot. The fact that a given table has at least one non-ASCII character is a pretty good approximation of this classification. In this way, you could just rescan the tables which are likely to get new non-ASCII characters. Depending on the size of the problem tables this may shorten the time to restart the analysis considerably.

Note that all need conversion CLOB columns, even if they contain ASCII only.

To minimize the window of downtime, we recommend a solution with GoldenGate. GoldenGate is, however, not a free product.

    Thank you

  • Track changes to Indesign Mac cloud does not

I put the track changes for all the stories and my track changes preferences are the default and seem to be good.  When I change the text, nothing happens and no follow-up is in the window track changes.  It's my first time trying track changes in InDesign, but I'm very familiar with it as a result of office products.  Of all the literature that I set should work.  I restarted the Mac, but in vain.  I can use some help.  Thank you!

You knew you discovered the track changes in the story editor? Edit > edit in story editor (Cmd/Ctrl + Y).

The editor of history is a great utility with many uses (originally from Pagemaker). Large-view/change the text flowing between the images and pages. Shows overset text easily. Offers an easy way to select special markers. Etc, etc.

  • Can you Adobe Acrobat help with import of tracking changes and comments in Microsoft Word and convert these annotations and comments in PDF format?

I have a Word doc huge with more than 3,000 of the changes and comments to track changes. I hope that there is a way that Adobe Acrobat can simplify the conversion of annotations and comments of an annotated PDF file in just a few steps - vs having to do this work manually. Appreciate the tips and recommendations! Thank you!

Acrobat and Word are quite different types of applications. Namely, Acrobat isn't a word processing application, although many people think that it is and try to use it as such. Therefore, I don't think that this is possible. Annotations in the PDF file are nothing like the changes you can make in a Word file, or vice versa.

Sorry, but this is simply not true.

This tool is nothing like the feature track changes in Word. It simply allows

  • The track changes

VCM has the ability to track changes made by users through vCM, as well as within an operating system?

    Yes and somehow.

When VCM collects data, it performs a comparison of Delta on the endpoint. Basically, this means we study all elements in the scope of the filter selected collection, and then throw away everything that's already been sent to applicant collector. Thus, if a registry filter covers a branch of registry which was compiled before and includes 100 values under it, but one of these 100 is new, one is changed and he used to be one who has since been removed, the Delta process will result in only three inputs for return to the collector: to create for the new value a change in the value is updated and has delete (tombstone) for the value that longer exists. Obviously, it is an effective way to collect a lot of data, since we do not have to send all 100 values every time - just the differences between what is there now and what has been sent before.

On the collector side, VCM will use Delta data to update the information in the registry for the target computer, but it will also save the changes to the master log of changes. For change, for example, there will be a record written to the log of the changes saying, more or less, "at that time, at that time, for this machine, that the registry path and the value increased from X to Y." we do not know exactly when the change was made, or who, because it is not part of the registry information is capture. However, if we have collections scheduled to run once per day for these data, we know that the change occurred in the course of the last 24 hours.

When VCM makes a change, it bookends the change with a pre/post data to change collection. So if we change a registry through VCM value, agent will first gather the registry value, and then change it and then collect again, and it will then return the Delta between these two collections, but also information on the jobs result, back to the collector. Given that this change was made through VCM and since the pre and post change collections were made at the same time as change and VCM can know for sure exactly where the changes were made and who makes these additional data elements get recorded in the change log with the from/to , path and details of the property.

Once you have data in the change log, you can then browse and analyze, report off of him and create alerts based on certain types of detected changes. VCM can also export the changed data back to vCenter Operations Manager where it can be used to annotate graphics mashup so changes can be seen in correlation with the performance of the system.

    Hi DCDCDC1999Party,

What type of document you work? If you are referring to a PDF file, Acrobat doesn't have a "track changes" you'd expect to see in a word processor such as Word application. Please, see track changes and edit in Acrobat XI markup for more information.

If ' I misunderstood your request, please let me know.
