  The answer is not simple.

  The storage of the iMessages are two types of operating system and the files do not match.

  There are ways to extract messages from the iTunes upward, but it's text only, with no way to get them in Messages on the Mac.

  I currently use InDesign CS6 and Photoshop and Illustrator CS5 on a Mac and I'm looking to upgrade to the full package of CC. However, I want to transfer my Adobe software existing from my Mac to my colleague Windows PC so that I can use the latest version and that he will use my what I have at the moment.   I apologize if this question was asked a thousand times, I couldn't find a discussion that matched my problem completely. I am fairly new with lightroom but have been like so far. I recently got a new Mac and transferred all my photos on it from my PC. E only problem is only a very small percentage of the photos laid on their key words with them. Is there a file that I missed the import I need to add? Or is it easier to delete all the Mac and start again? Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

  Welcome to the forum!

  There are two answers to this question.  Most people will tell you to export as a catalog to another disk, then import from a catalog on the new machine.

  I say just to copy the catalog file and you're done.  I find it quite a bit faster.

  Both options work, but here's the easy level of the system.  If you keep the same, the Organization (folders) of your images, then you can just copy the tree of the entire picture on your new computer.   Then, there's a file catalog.lrcat and file previews.  You can skip the previews folder.  Simply copy the catalog.lrcat (or, if you change the name, any *.lrcat file you have) on your new computer and open it with LR.  Then you eventually (if your images are not exactly in the same place) will have to right click on your folder of level higher and tell LR to find images.  LR will find all images under your high level after that.

  The reason why this works is that the lrcat file is in fact a small database and is not dependent on the machine.

  So I remove that you already created and simply copy all over the place.  Then, you keep ALL your historical edition, keywords, etc., without effort.

  Photos you sync with an iPhone using iTunes are not in the film but in different albums. You cannot import by plugging an iPhone over USB.

  If you want to import them, save in the film.  When you try to edit a photo on the iPhone, you will be asked to create a copy in the film. Allow this.

  Or send photos by mail to your Mac.

  Frankly, it would be much faster copy photos from your PC to a thumb drive and then download the pictures of this player for Mac inches.
