  No future update will be issued for versions no CC. CS6, the last of them is (already) 16.0.5.

  You can install on 2 computers at the same time, and you can turn off and install on new computers as you want.

  It depends on the type of license you have, as to whether you can transfer it or not.

  Pre-installed Licenses OEM (HP, Acer, etc.) and the Microsoft System Builder OEM licenses are tied to the first machine that they are installed on and channels of license when this machine dies.

  I can't transfer the CS4 on my new computer.  I installed CS4 from my backup on a separate reader disk, but when I went to open one of the apps I got an error code 150.30.  so I chatted with support and they suggested download ADBESTMCS4_LS1.dmg I did it but there are only a few apps available.  Photoshop etc. were all absent.

  A much better choice is to keep your computers XP and running, as a lot of the XP applications may not even work on Windows 7 or Windows 8. Keep your antivirus software up-to-date, or disconnect the computers XP of the Internet (to keep them safe), once you get a new computer.

  Windows 7 is a closer match for XP that Windows 8 and HP has renewed their effort to sell computers Windows 7 Basic.
