Transfer pictures to the Nikon Coolpix camera laptop

How can I transfer photos from my camera to a folder on my computer, how to create a folder, and then

dump the images accordingly...

Hi Lorn,

(a) the question is, where you want to create a folder? Library office or photo?

(b) is your device detected in Device Manager or my computer?

(c) what is your operating system?

(d) when you connect the camera to the laptop, do you have the auto play options?

If so, you can select the import option. Once selected, all photos would have copied in the library of photos under Windows 7.

Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

Step 1:

You can follow the steps provided by samc1 from the link below.
http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/w7files/thread/1eec4302-BB1F-4920-A928-0ef5fe8bd738

Step 2:

You can also try inserting the camera memory card into the memory card slot in the laptop and check what is happening.

Step 3:

If none of the above suggestions work,

Try this:

1 connect the camera. Once its connected go to computer.
2. right click, open to highlight all the photos.
3 right-click and copy.
4. Paste the images where you want and save.

Step 4:

If the advice above do not work, please contact Nikon .

  • transfer pictures from the phone to the laptop

I use a HP Pavilion g6-2240sa Notebook PC and want to transfer pictures from my phone to my laptop. They are too big to send by e-mail.  I was told to try to use a card SDHC UHS-1 with adapter. This allows me to put my phone memory card inside the card that can be inserted into the slot on the side.  I want to know if the laptop a) will recognize the card and b) be able to read the card inserted in the adapter vioa and transfer images.  Does anyone know please answer this question?

I just connect my phone using a cable usb towards micro-usb for my phone and the phone appears as a hard drive symbolized... Navigate to the DCIM folder and photos are here. They can be cut and pasted or copied and pasted on the hard drive of the laptop. What kind of phone do you have? Mine is a Smartphone Android HTC One. This avoids constantly pulling the storage card from the phone that may not have all the pictures on it. Some may be internal phone storage.

If you read the manual of the device, it should give you more options, like "thumb drives". Also, the manual should specify the size in pixels, or MB size and explain how to transfer the photos.

  • How to transfer pictures from the phone to the computer via a USB cable?

I just bought a Tundra VA76r and universal mini-USB cable at a local store AT & T. I downloaded the "v3.9.0 USB driver for Windows 32-bit" on the Motorola support site, I have Windows XP SP2 on my desktop Dell. The driver is described as follows:

This USB driver is used for connecting your Mobile from Motorola phone to a Windows® computer via a USB cable to charge your phone or to access the data on your phone. This USB driver supports most Motorola OS, Linux OS, Motorola, Motorola iDEN, Motorola Symbian/UIQ, Motorola Windows Mobile® and i-mode of Motorola phones.

I installed the driver and the load function works. My phone USB connection type is MODEM. However, I am not able to "access the data on my phone" as promised in the description of the driver. The phone is not recognized in Windows Explorer. All I want to do is to transfer pictures from the phone to my computer. The price for Motorola Phone Tools ($50) seem expensive for such a simple task. An adapter for my desktop computer bluetooth is also in this price range. The tundra is incompatible with the feature of this driver? I'm doing something wrong with the installation of the phone? Please help me to get the driver to work... Thank you

Best way to do this is to configure your phone USB setting of "memory card".  Go to Menu-settings-connections-settings USB online online online, select the memory card.

Once this is done, connect the phone to the computer, phone will be recognized as a removable disk. Go to my computer.  Under devices you'll see removable drive F or G depending on your drives (can show two if you have a card as well.  Memory card is usually the drive at the top of the page.  The phone memory is lower by car).

Click on the drive (IE. F, mobile - if memory card).  Here you will see audio, music, photo, etc.  Once here, you can get, drag and drop a file on your computer.  Make sure that you create one or more folders for your files on your computer.

The same also applies if the transfer of files from your computer to your phone.

I find that this method is better than to sync the phone.

I hope it will work for you.  Let me know if it doesn't.

  • Transfer pictures to the computer, back to the camera card

I would like to transfer photos, Windows Photo Gallery, or my folder of images, from my computer, on a camera

card.  I am currently operating with Vista.  Is this possible?  If so, how?

    Hello BrendaKS,

Your camera has an SD card or you store the pictures in your camera memory?

If the device has a SD memory card then you must place this memory card into the reader on your PC. All you then need to do is to copy the photos you want to transfer to your camera and then paste them into the SD memory card.

If your device does not have a SD memory card then you will use the cameras memory to contain the new photos. This will reduce the amount of memory that you have to take new photos and eventually, you run out of memory and you will need to copy the photos to another storage device.

If you use just the computers memory, then the camera should have a USB lead that attaches one end to the camera and the other end to the USB port on your PC to enable you to transfer data between the two.

However, I am assuming that your PC has a SD memory card that stores the admissions.

  • Transfer pictures from the internal memory on a PC or SD card

I have an Alpha A3000 camera and would like to transfer pictures from my internal memory to my PC or SD card.  How can I do this?  Thanksk.

    Hi samsmom,.

I do not have the A3000, but based on other Sony devices, usually when you are in playback mode, you can go to the image you want to copy, and then open the options, and there should be a copy option.

In the main menu on the Preview tab settings, I'm pretty sure that there should be a copy option to copy all images from the camera on card.

Regarding the connection to the PC, your USB mode should be MTP or something in that sense, not mass. Mass will detect the memory card if I remember correctly, one should allow the computer detect the camera too.

But as I said, I don't have the A3000 - my answer is based on the use of other Sony cameras.

You have a drive internal or external?

    If_Yes_try the following steps...

Insert the memory card into your Media Player and
    Reach... Start / computer.

The media player must be recognized as one or
Most removable disks and each will have a drive
    letter.

    Example:
    Removable disk (e :))
    Removable drive (g)
    Removable disk (h :))

Left-click each removable disk until you reveal them
Root directory of the memory card.

OK... now you know... the drive letter to your
    Image folder... Start / photos.

If you right-click a selected group of photos or a complete
You should be able to choose the folder... Send to / removable
Disk (? :))..) .This must copy the photos on the memory card.

Make sure that the photos are in one or more records because
the number of photos that you can copy to the directory root
will be very limited. And you will receive the following error:

"Impossible to copy the XXXX: failed to create the directory or file.

If you prefer to copy Photo Gallery... click right one selected
Group of photos and choose... Copy. Reach... Start / computer
Click with the right button on the memory card drive letter and choose
    Dough.

  • How to transfer pictures from the computer to the camera using a sd card?

I managed to transfer several photos from my camera coolpix s6300 (which have been backed up on am sd 8 gb card) to my computer... big... If the pictures that you have copied to the SD card have been published
somehow... rotation, brightness, contrast, renamed, etc...
the camera will recognize them is no longer.

If you have a cell phone, maybe it would display your photos.

  • Transfer pictures to the laptop on the desk

Hi, I'm reasonably seasoned with Lightroom, but have just started using a laptop while traveling and loading the pictures on it in Lightroom. I would like to be able to work with photos on the laptop while traveling, including marking and setting the parameters, then transfer into my office catalogue and remove it from the laptop. Is there a text anywhere on how to do it? I searched the web, but come only with old posts of people who have developed workarounds. Any guidance would be appreciated!

On the laptop, select the photos you want in Lightroom (perhaps all), then check that use catalogue, order of menu file-> Export "are negative", select a location for the files to be written on.

On the desktop, open Lightroom, select file-> import from another catalog, and then select the catalogue created by the laptop.

I can't transfer jpg on my computer to my external hard drive all of a sudden. He's worked a lot of years and now when I try to drag the photos on it gives me a stop sign, that white circle with the diagonal line through it. What gives? Any help would be great appreciated! I have a lot of work there.

-I can drag photos that already exist ON the disk hard ON my desk, but not vice versa

-All files are jpg files, and they are in a separate folder on my desktop, not from my iphoto library or whatever it is

-J' also tried to delete the "com.apple.recentitems.plist" of the finder, and nothing has changed

-The disc model is a "Slim Seagate laptop drive"

-Here is a photo of the hardrive info:

    Thank you

The external HARD drive is formatted NTFS, which allows you to write on it unless you have a third party app like Paragon or Tuxera.

You had these software installed by Seafgate in the drive, but it is now obsolete and should be updated.
