Transfer songs on iPhone

I synchronize with success of songs in iTunes on my iMac on my iPhone. However, I would like to transfer the same songs to my wife's iPhone.

Just connect the iPhone to my iMac?

I don't want to confuse or change the settings for synchronization, I already put in place for my own iPhone.

His phone will probably need to use your Apple ID.  Kind of question is likely, because media companies do not want people being able to simply connect their phone to any library and get media off it hacking would otherwise be endemic.

You can configure a separate library for its use that might contain some of the same media, or if it already has one of its own you can use home sharing to transfer a part of him.

When it has been removed from iTunes, do you know if it deleted the file in the computer as well? If it's only missing in iTunes, files will still be on your computer.

You can open the Finder, and then click your Home (home) folder. Go to music > iTunes > iTunes Media > music.

Assuming that you have not been messing around with the settings/folder iTunes, iTunes will have copied the music file into this folder.

You use Time Machine? It would be easier to simply restore the songs using a backup. To my knowledge there is not a way to transfer music from iPhone to computer without a third-party program.

  • Transfer songs from iPhone to iTunes?

    Hello

Recently, my house was stolen and my old computer stolen. Unfortunately, I had not been able to backup my iTunes library recently (my old external hard drive recently crashed and a new, we just got here the day before my computer was stolen, but I had not had time to return my computer yet). A large part of my library was built from CD that I no longer have access to, but a few GB of my favorites is still on my phone, which fortunately was not stolen. Since I bought a new laptop (a Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series, running Windows 10 Home), and I downloaded the latest Windows iTunes. I was able to authorize this computer to re-download my iTunes recent purchases from the iTunes Store, but clearly I can't re-upload my entire library, as a large part of it came from a CD rather than the iTunes Store. Now, I would like to transfer my songs from my iPhone5c to my new computer/iTunes, but I can't find a way to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!

  • Transfer songs from Apple music from iPhone to iTunes

    Hello world

Most of my songs is downloaded directly from Apple music on my iPhone. I think that my iPhone and my PC is connected somehow through the same Apple ID

Whenever I want to sync my songs from iPhone to iTunes on my PC, my PC already knew that I downloaded music and it downloads the music once again in the iTunes - wasting the time and plan internet - to copy music from my iPhone.

Is it possible to simply transfer the downloaded music from my iPhone directly to my PC / iTunes? Logically speaking music is already there in my phone so the only thing it takes is just to copy it, no need to download it once more.

    Thank you!

P.S. I'm using iPhone 6 (iOS 9.3.2) and 10 Windows with the latest version of iTunes (12.4.1)

    Hi arisastrosubroto,

Thank you for coming to us in Apple Support communities for support. I know it's important to have access to your music on all of your devices, so I'm happy to help you to provide advice for you to get it working again.

If the music you want to transfer was purchased from the iTunes Store, you can use the information here to transfer these purchases to iTunes:

Redownload or transfer of your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad or iPod to a computer

If this music was not bought on iTunes, but simply added to your Apple's music library, iTunes works as it should and will be instead just download these same elements directly in iTunes.

I hope this helps clarify things a bit more. See you soon!

    Hi shin men,.

Unfortunately using ITunes is the best way to transfer music from Iphone to computer.

However there are some third-party programs available online that can also help.

You can communicate with ITunes to check if they have an easy way to transfer music from Iphone to computer.

My iTunes library is on an external drive, which is not accessible at the moment. I would like to connect the iPhone to my computer and transfer files from Mac to iPhone. Is there a way to access iTunes without creating a new library on my Mac? Or y at - it another way to transfer files on iPhone without using iTunes?

Not with iTunes if you do not the original library for which the last phone connected.  If these are iTunes store purchases or if you use one of the iCloud (Apple or game music) service you can download directly to the phone. You could also investigate the use of third party services such as DropBox and then use a different media player to play music on your phone outside of the application.

How to transfer my music from my iPhone to my macbook pro 6

Where is the music? If it's on the iTunes store and then with the same AppleID on Mac, you can download it again. There is no easy way to transfer music from iPhone to Mac, and you're not supposed to do anyway.

If the music on the iPhone has been transferred from another computer, you cannot connect your iPhone to another music library without erasing music on the phone.  Give us more details.

You have the same version of GarageBand on Mac?

Otherwise, some sounds from the old version of GarageBand may be missing in the new Mac.

But you can simply copy the GarageBand project on a thumb drive or an external drive with enough storage and copy them on.  Or use your network - put the songs in the Public folder on the old Mac and from there copy them to your music on the recent Mac folder.

  • Purchases don't transfer MacBookPro for iPhone

    Hello everyone,

Ive had a few difficulties to sync my purchases, I bought on the iTunes Store on my iPhone.

Some of the albums I bought can be easily transferred to my iPhone without any problem. But, some of the albums for some reason any will not transfer to my iPhone. I use the same apple ID, the same country, I already tried to desauthorize and again, to update the software and nothing don't allow, no apple support.

For some reason, when I get on the iTunes Store app on my iPhone, this albums appear like this:

All gray. When I click on download all, nothing happens.

When I go to my music purchases, the album is not there.

Usually I can find answers in the internet, but nothing helped.

(Sorry for the bad English, Im from Brazil...)

    Can someone help me?
