transition of compensation

Hi all
I would like to understand how to use compensation on ALBPM transition.
I did a test using a simple process with a transition of compensation from one activity to another.
But I can't find the way to test this scenario. In fact I use ALBPM 6.0.

Thanks in advance.

Try to create a user-defined exception and people up instead of the base class Exception(). The engine seems to catch the regular exceptions. Don't know why this right.

  • Fade to black - start at 50%

    I always start my fade ins at 50% and ends with 100%.  Which means it gradually transitions black to the clip throughout the entire selection of transition.  By default, the first defines the appearance at 0% and ends at 100%, hereby making it black for the first half of the video then transitions into the clip.

    The problem is that even if I start the transition at 50%, the clip still in total black until the middle of the transition, hereby ignoring my controls.  In fact, if I put it to start at 50% and ends at 50%...it plays still the default transition.

    Is it a problem that I have to live with?  Basically, I'll have to double my sizes of transition in compensation, which is stupid.  Any advice?

    Ann,

    What you witness is not the problem; It is indeed the case in how Dip to black should work. The start and end values are not the degrees/percentage of opacity, but are rather the percentages of "completeness" of the transition. Dip to black going to 0% opacity to 100% opacity to 0% opacity (compared to black, not outgoing or incoming video), 50% upon completion of the transition MUST be 100% black. Here is a graphical representation (I had no time to paint or build it to scale):

    White represents an opacity of 0% of the black of the transition, where black represents an opacity of 100%. Think of the transition as a solid black which has the duration of the transition. By default, the transition starts with 0% opacity of this solid black, ramps to 100% opacity in the middle and then ramp down to 0%. That is why, in general, if you start the transition at 50% (as does the OP) you are effectively create a fade to black. Is it nature, Dip to black (or white) is a transition to both sides and therefore requires this re-posting of the start or end value for the effect.

    Personally, I never use Dip to black in that goal, even if it worked correctly with the MPE material, as it is simply too tedious. However, regardless of the aspect practice technique, he reveals a problem with the MEPS hardware.

    To the OP: as noted by Craig (shooternz), the following creates a blend of several layers without altering the slides of different layers (which are a common problem, given that many people just throw dissolves on each layer fade in/out):

  • Compensation of screen transitions

    So I now use the screen transitions in my application.  Their implementation is very simple.  I just called setTransition() on UiEngineInstance for the push and pop transitions.

    However, the JavaDocs for setTransition() also say:

    This method maintains a reference to the screen of objects passed into it until the application ends. For screens are properly garbage collected when they are no longer needed, an application must also clear any transition previously set for them.

    Because I don't want my request to keep unnecessary references to unused screens, this is a problem.  The problem is that I have absolutely no idea where I'm supposed to actually to be clear transitions of!  (especially since I use pushScreen())

    If I erase the transitions for a screen in any code that is executed on the pop (onUndisplay () /onUiEngineAttached (false), or in a ScreenUiEngineAttachedListener), the pop transition is never displayed to the user.

    So exactly how to run the code (to clear the transition) after the pop * and * after the transition from pop?

    To clear the transition you must TransitionContext to null in the UiEngineInstance (.setTransition) method.

    You can call it in the Screen.onUiEngineAttached, but you need to wrap the call in a passable invokeLater (as shown here).

  • Performs the only compensation not

    I have problems with my performs the only compensation not after I remove them something on my calendar. I use the block dissolve, and he did not work right. So I erased the effect of the object and put another transition in. However, the dissolution of the block is still one showing! Anyone know what is happening? The dissolution of the block must be passed to this element, and there is no other article on the timeline at this point that might interfere.

    Hi Laura,

    Sorry to inform you but Premiere Pro CC 2015 is only supported on MAC 10.9.X or higher. Maybe it's one of the reasons for you to get these seeds because it has never tested on Lion and can install but does not work properly.

  • First 13 items: problem with transitions and vignettes for the film menu

    I've separated the scenes in my movie with the base transition fade - to-black, which works fine when I choose the centered option. Unfortunately, when using the automatic method of filling thumbnails of scene menu, the result is an all black image of the miniatures of the scene, that the initial image for each scene is completely black.

    I tried to put the transition on the right side of the main element, which solves the problem of thumbnails on the menus of the scene, but the transition is strangely applied - he Faints, but disappears before the end of the clip of the beginning, rather than just black until the end of the first clip.

    Any ideas?

    rptrevor

    When you double click on the menu, you will see an opportunity of 'compensation' 00; 00; 00; 00 in the marker dialog box.

    You can use it to change the thumbnail display corresponding to this menu marker while leaving the menu marker in its mounting location.

    Have you explored this possibility? It works - road tested myself.

    What operating system executes your 13 items first? I ask that in case we need to enter a more specific detail linked

    for the operating system on which to run the Premiere Elements.

    We will follow to your results.

    Thank you.

  • Wait the response Message to start the Compensation Plan

    Hi all

    I implement a plan of the orchestration of a product, all the functions involved running a process and think that the process has an automated task and this task has a first automator to send a message to a jms queue in WebLogic using the sender of Xquery, and the same automated task has a second automator to receive a response to the request message using a receiver Xquey Automator type of external events.

    When the order arrives at the automated task, send a message and waits for the response with the same correlation request ID and process this response to continue to the next activity.

    If the process comes to the automated task and send a request message and while waiting for the response arrives an amendment to this order, this amendment is not started until the automated task response message arrives.

    Could I start the amendment without waiting the answer comes of the automated task that is currently running process?

    Thanks again.

    AndresG.

    This behavior is controlled by the order lifecycle policy. Life cycle policy order control States authorized order, their transactions to move between States of command, all conditions or roles for these transactions and grace periods for certain order state transitions. For the behavior you want, you must change the default delay setting (the default is to wait indefinitely as the tasks to be performed).

    Specifically, you want to look in control policy, under the State of advancement in State is the change of the process transaction and the tab of the period of grace on the right. This is the operation that controls the State of ongoing change to change an accepted amendment. You can change the duration of waiting indefinitely for a period of time, of a certain value not zero to give him some time to receive the response and complete its work, which is also a known state for the task, or you could it to zero, which will process the amendment immediately and not wait for a response to all your external receiver process and complete the order.

    To decide how to use the grace period settings, it is important to understand that the MSO considers only the tasks completed in its compensation plan for the amendments and all the tasks that are in a State accepted (as yours would be after the message was sent to the external system) at the expiration of the grace period are not considered as completed and therefore are not considered in the compensation plan. This means that these tasks will be performed again (mode of) once the order comes from the state change and return to a State in course, as long as the order remains on the same path in the process after compensation. You'll want to think that in the establishment of your grace period.

  • Need help with a script of Fade Transitions

    I'm new to scripting so apologies if I've made a few obvious mistakes.

    In addition, do not know if there is already a feature in AE I don't know which will achieve

    what I'm trying to do, but I want to learn AdobeExtendScript and thought it was a great app for a script.

    I am trying to write a script allowing to adjusts video layers and opacity of the image key fades from 100% to 0% on a

    length of the frameworks determined by the user. Nothing too crazy. I've tested this script with imported parts of first and

    It works, kind of, but only when the first layer in the model is part of the selected layers.

    Here's the script:

    //

    fadeTransitions.jsx (03/12/12)

    http:pkvisualization.com

    // http://pie.med.utoronto.ca

    //

    This script will be set a series of layers so that the layer opacity fades

    from 100% to 0% over a length of frames determined by the user.

    //

    var theComp = app.project.activeItem; the value of a variable equal to the active composition

    If (theComp == null |) (theComp instanceof CompItem) == false) / / check if the item is selected and make sure it is a CompItem

    {

    Alert ("you must have at least two selected layers");

    } else {}

    var numberOfLayers = theComp.selectedLayers.length; the value of a variable equal to the total number of selected layers

    If (numberOfLayers == null: numberOfLayers < 2) / / make sure there are at least two selected layers

    {

    Alert ("you must have at least two selected layers");

    } else {}

    var startLayer = prompt ("first layer to be affected:", "layer #");

    you want to remove this prompt and set a variable for the above selected layer.

    var startLayer = theComp.selectedLayers [0]; does not work. I want the lowest layer indexed multiple selected layers

    fadeTransitions();

    } //end second otherwise: numberOfLayers test

    } //end first thing: theComp test

    function fadeTransitions()

    {

    app.beginUndoGroup ("FadeTransitions");

    var overlap = parseInt (command prompt ("specifies the length of the fade-off (frames)", "0" "));

    overlap overlap = * theComp.frameDuration;

    for (var i = 1; i < = numberOfLayers; i ++)

    {

    var layerIndex = (startLayer - 1) + i; create the layer index, subtract 1 for compensation of the correct layer

    If (layerIndex > numberOfLayers) {//end before layerIndex becomes more than numberOfLayers

    Alert ("Transitions Fade script');

    break;

    } else {}

    var topLayerEnd = .outPoint theComp.layer (layerIndex);

    If ((layerIndex+1) > numberOfLayers) {//end before (layerIndex + 1) becomes more than numberOfLayers

    Alert ("Transitions Fade script');

    break;

    } else {}

    var btmLayerStart = theComp.layer(layerIndex+1).inPoint;

    var btmLayerEnd = theComp.layer(layerIndex+1).outPoint;

    term var = btmLayerEnd - btmLayerStart;

    theComp.layer(layerIndex+1).inPoint = (topLayerEnd - overlap);

    theComp.layer(layerIndex+1).outPoint = (topLayerEnd + duration);

    theComp.layer (layerIndex).opacity.setValueAtTime ((theComp.layer (layerIndex) .outPoint - overlap), 100);

    theComp.layer (layerIndex).opacity.setValueAtTime (theComp.layer (layerIndex) .outPoint, 0);

    } //end 2nd else

    } //end 1 else

    } //end for loop

    app.endUndoGroup ();

    } //end fadeTransitions function

    #1 problem: I want to eliminate the prompt asking the startLayer, instead, I want the first layer to be the highest of

    a selection of layers, so that at any time, you can select a series of layers and run the script only affect these layers.

    I tried to do this by setting a variable app.project.activeItem.selectedLayers [0]; but it did not work. This function would be really

    required during the later stages of compositing, when there are a lot of layers of subtitles, audio, 3D rendered images, etc. above

    layers of film in the model.

    #2 problem: unless the selected layers are pre-established way cascading, I get some really weird adjustments to the in-

    and outPoints. Not sure what is the cause. This isn't a priority, because most of the time I want to use this script layers

    will be already prepared properly (I import a Premiere Pro sequence), but still, I would like to know how I could solve this problem

    and to better understand how works ExtendScript.

    Problem #3: Right now, the way that these guys down inPoints are adjusted, is the same as if I flew over the inPoint layer with the mouse and

    got horizontally in line with the arrows of face to face and click-slipped the inPoint backward, but what I prefer is the

    equivalent of if I fly in the middle of the layer from the Selection tool and click-and - drag the entire layer L or R, so that it is inPoint

    is always in the same place in the sequence. As problem #2, it is not a great problem, I just want to better understand what is happening

    in the script. I tried to use startTime instead of inPoint in the script, but then it just stopped working completely.

    Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated, and everyone feel free to use what I have so far if you wish.

    This give a try. I have not tested much, but I think it's pretty close to what you are after. It is not as limited to a selection of contiguous layers.

    Help, please!

    Hello flight_test,

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I know have a problem with the export of photo slideshows for OS X, it's not what you expect. From what you said in your other thread and troubleshooting already suggested, I would recommend testing in a new user on your Mac, as this can determine if unexpected behavior is related to the file by the user or by setting trying to reproduce the problem to another user account. This process includes creating a new user account, connect to it and test for the issue.

    How to test a question in another account on your Mac.

    You can also try to export the slideshow in different definition (480 p, 720 p or 1080 p) and see if that makes a difference with this question:

    iMovie can be inconsistent at times about the time of transition. Supposedly in 10.1.2 you can double-click on the transition and a window will appear where you can set the time. I found it does not always take. Another way that seems to work is to make a selection in the browser before you add the clip to the timeline, leaving a few seconds on each end of the clamp. One who still works for me is to use the precision Editor. Right-click on the transition and the select precision Editor. In the editor, you can adjust the time of transition.
