  I have a Production of the Oracle Application environment in 12.0.4.
  After you have assigned some responsibilities, we are not able to view these responsibilities after the notation in the application.
  
  According to metalink note: 417439.1, I followed the procedure below, but without success.
  1. make sure that the latest patch ATG_RUP has been applied.
  2. performance of the competitor program System: responsibility of the administrator-> request-> "synchronize WF LOCAL tables.
  3. simultaneous program performance: "Workflow Directory service/user role Validation.
  4 restart the workflow Agent listeners: WF_DEFERRED and WF_JAVA_DEFERRED
  
  I also ran simultaneous program: "Workflow Directory service/user role Validation" twice. First time with 10000, Y, N, N parameters and the second time with the 10000, N, Y, n always settings no chance.
  
  No idea why this is happening? Could someone please share some light on this issue?

  Have you tried bouncing Apache services? These responsibilities seed those custom? This question has recently started? You opened a SR?

  PL see if MOS Doc 466135.1 (responsibilities disappeared once they have been assigned to a user) can help you, even if it's for 11i.

  I'm trying to find out how to export a .sql file, I created from Oracle Application Express of SQL Server Management 2012? I'm not very technical, but it seems that the Oracle code does not work with SQL Management Studio when I drag the file inside.

  I need the database Oracle express and its data to enter in SQL Management Studio, so any help would be much appreciated!

  Yesterday, I installed the update of windows with Internet Explorer 10. It seems that it was a mistake, because I can't use the Oracle Applications more.

  On the login page, the icons are unreadable and after login, I can only see messages "Undefined" on the Main Manu.

  I've attached a screen with this error.

  Plese could you give me a notice which settings should I change?

• Setting up Oracle Application Testing Suite components Server 12.5.0.2.537 takes a long time.

  I am trying to install Oracle Application Testing Suite. It has installed successfully,

  but ' implementation of Oracle Application Testing Suite components Server 12.5.0.2.537 ' takes a long time.

  It is showing the message "set up pending".

  It's also show message 'spawning' C\OracleATS\bin\deploy.bat C\OracleATS\install\oats.ear".

  Progress of the installation is stuck at 99% of last four hours.

  Any idea on this?

  Please try reinstalling with admin privileges.

  Click with the right button on setup.bat and run as Administrator.

  You can install Weblogic directly and redeploy your Application in Weblogic.

  Because if you have a SOA in 10.1.3.1 then there are separate steps and if you have only OC4J, so there are different steps to install 11 g.

  Databases are not "created on Oracle Application Express". Request Express is a component of a pre-existing database.

  What do you mean by 'Oracle Application Express (free version)'? If it comes to a workspace on the hosted apex.oracle.com, then it is possible to connect using the APEX in a web browser. If you mean a local installation of Oracle Express Edition, then Yes, a Java application can connect to it, but the issue is off-topic for this forum and should ask in the forum Database Oracle Express Edition (XE) .

  In case you want to use ADR in stand-alone mode, follow the link documentation of ADR to address:

  Reference: running in stand-alone Mode

  You must do the following:

  • Navigate to the directory where ADR has been unpacked and run the following java command:

  java-jar ords.war

  • Set the location of the folder that contains the Oracle Application Express static resources when you are prompted.

  If you have downloaded apex and who unpacked in a location then this parameter would be:

  \apex\images

  • Set the HTTP port to the desired number viz.8081 when prompted

  I am trying to build a java application using jbcd to connect to my Oracle Application Express DB but unable to connect actually using the following syntax:

  Private final static String DB = "myworkspacename";

  Private final static String RUTA public = "@apex.oracle.com:1521";

  private public static final String URL = "jdbc: Slim:" + RUTA + "/" + DB;

  private static final String DRIVER = "oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver";

  a USER private final static string = " " [email protected] "; "

  private final static String PASS = "MonMotpasse";

  and then I start the connection via:

  CONEX = DriverManager.getConnection(URL,USER,PASS);

  but finally I get the following error:

  IO error: the network adapter could not establish the connection

  any ideas on what goes wrong will be appreciated...

  Simple answer... YOU can't connect externally to the hosted instance of Oracle with a jdbc connection or sql developer/Toad.  Not allowed...

  If you need this capability, I would suggest downloading of Oracle 11 g XE and building you own database...
