  A variable binding cannot be used as this is why you must use years table. Check decompilation binary ADF: using oracle.jbo.domain.Array with ViewCriteria to see a solution.

  I have a command INSERT EVERYTHING involving 5 tables and lots of columns
  
  My source query is a simple select issues from a single table.
  
  Some of my source query values have null for columns that are marked NOT NULL in the target tables.
  
  So, I don't NVL (COLUMN_NAME, 'Default value') AS COLUMN_NAME for these areas, but complains about the check constraint Oracle throw me an error for these fields!
  
  It's as if Oracle is completely ignoring my NVL... why? Is this because those check constraints are not marked delayed?
  
  Here's a quick example:

  IN a (A, B, C) - C is marked NOT NULL

  I tried to put the NVL in the VALUES (...)

  My guess is that you want:

  , dense_rank () over (order by  tmstp  desc)  AS rn 
  

  RANK means you'll jump numbers when there is a link. For example, if all 3 rows have the exact same last tmstp, all 3 rows would be assigned number 1, GRADE would assign 4 to the next line, but DENSE_RANK attributes 2.

  "PARTITION x" means that you are looking for a separate series of numbers (starting with 1) for each value of x. If you want just a series of numbers for the entire result set, then do not use a PARTITION BY clause at all. (PARTITION BY is never required.)
  Maybe you want to PARTITIONNER IN cd. I can't do it without some examples of data, as well as an explanation of why you want the results of these data.
  You certainly don't want to PARTITION you BY the same expression ORDER BY; It simply means that all the lines are tied for #1.

  I don't see where you have a question from vars between functions because you do not pass everything.  Maybe that's your problem.  The function fileLoaded expects an argument, but you are not providing one.  To get around that you should provide any argument being sent in the first function...

• problem with insert cfquery.

  Hello;

  I have problems with my query insert to add a new record. Is not to launch any errors, I empty all the variables of of that feeds it and their... but it does not add the record to the database. It IS an Access db, not my choice... customers. Maybe that's the problem? (I'm kidding) Can someone help me understand why this code won't add a new record. I write my request to insert, if you need more I can provide. But I think it's a problem with this code.

  Everything looks good to me... I even tried what in fact throw errors to perhaps trigger the real problem and it does not work. Obviously... I'm missing something.

  You have another potential error of logic.  After you do your

  Insert, your select query can return multiple rows.

  That being the case, perhaps the id that you pass to the next page

  not to be whatever you want.

  In CF8 +, you can use the result attribute to return the value of auto-generated ID of single INSERT statements.

  Furthermore, I wonder about your cfsqltypes. What database you use?

• Problem with smart updates using the WiFi, modem OK

  I started having problems with my WiFi on my Toshiba Satellite laptop.

  I can not access any program Smart Update - Windows, Norton, Spydoctor, inheritance etc..

  These Smart Update programs work very well if I'm connected to Dial-up but not wireless.

  I checked my Norton Firewall settings - doesn't seem to be an indication of a problem here.
  I disabled my firewall program - no change.
  I tried the drivers updated - no change.
  I uninstalled the other software spy/advertising programs and checked my registry - no change.

  My Internet is fine - I can always check email and browse websites - just the Smart Update function seems to be affected.

  I am running Vista and have updated and installed all the files system through my modem connection. I use Norton 360.

  Any suggestions?

  The wireless internet connection seems to be ok if you can access the Web sites.
  So I think that the problem must be installed software or application.

  You use Norton 360?
  Although I know this software could affect the internet connection.
