trimmed values when inserting in the column

Hi Experts,
I tried to insert the '% t & U' value in a column in oracle table database, but the value '% t' is getting inserted into the column. string once % skiped. Can someone tell me why this happened?

    I just wonder that relaxation of the COLUMN INSERT exists as UPDATE OF THE COLUMN? If so, it seems illogical to use insert the trigger. Because can not insert for a spesific columns that we effect the registration worldwide, right line?

    The limit of 4000 characters is incorrect.  That pertains only to the varchar2 data type.  A clob can hold more than 4 G.

    Here is an example that shows how to insert it, I found...

    Otherwise, here is a way 'dirty' to do.

    insert into your_table (COLA, COLB)

    values

    (PRIMARY_KEY, PART 1 OF DATA)

    ;

    Update your_table

    Define COLB = COLB | PART 2 OF BIG DATA

    where COLA = PRIMARY_KEY;

    Update your_table

    Define COLB = COLB | PART 3 OF BIG DATA

    where COLA = PRIMARY_KEY;

    .. and so on...

    I don't know that I personally recommend the second style...  But he could do the job.

    The value you use for the name parameter in your SELECT becomes the name of the FORM variable that is sent to the action page, assuming a POST method. Goes same for tags of entry... the name you use becomes the name of the FORM variable.

    You need to change the SQL code to specify the columns that you insert in, but it avoids all the other faff.

			 I just create a button to redirect I want to redirect to the same page and place 2 elements on the page to the same value they had before the redirection.
    But I can not write:
    Place these items: P1_Permit_Number, P1_Fishing_Year
    With these values: & P1_Permit_Number, & P1_Fishing_Year.
    

    Because there are no values in session state, because a shipment has not been done.
    

    So, how can I do this?
    I know how to get the values stored in the elements, for example, $v ('P1_PERMIT_NUMBER')
    but where should I put this command? It is not allowed under the "with these values.
    And I don't really want to make a button "submit" and create a process that says:
    P1_PERMIT_NUMBER: = $v ('P1_PERMIT_NUMBER'), because that would complicate the page too - I already have other branches and the process on the pages which conditions have to be modified so that they do not work in this scenario.

    I have a TOTAL field that is the sum of the other two fields in a form. I have disabled because do not have the user enter the value.     Have you tried to make the point read-only? Set the read-only item and try. You can do the unalterable element by two methods,
    

    (1) amend section-> go to read only tab-> read-only Condition Type: always
    

    (2) create a dynamic Action-> event: loading the Page-> Action: run the JavaScript Code-> Code:

    Empty text box value when reading about the LV2012 development system but no Production
     
			 
    Development platform: 32-bit Windows 7, LV2012 Professional Development System.
    

    Production of platforms: Windows XP.
    

    We have a test application, we have developed (in haste, I might add) who has a curious problem.  As part of the installation for each test, read us a text box with a serial number entry and record them in the log files.  Series enough.
    

    This works very well on production machines - no apparent problem.
    

    However, on the development computer, when I try to read the text box, all I get is an empty string.  I tried to read directly from the Terminal, as well as using a property value box.  Each time, there is nothing in the string.  This is even though I'm looking at the text box and there are visible data in it.
    

    Clear the text box repeatedly, I'm looking to see if any of those that occur at the wrong time.  And, indeed, I am looking a probe value of ' ' from the property node Value with the string "1234" visible in the text box while NONE of the compensation functions have been affected.
    

    The test application uses a pretty standard user interface event loop model, with an event loop manages the user input and the other event loop manages the business logic.
    

    Anyone have any idea what can cause this, or a better search string to find clues?

    As promised, I did go to the bottom of it.
    

    Simply enable "update of value while typing" gave me the result I expected.
    

    To explain: I had a key event down to the first text box that has been copied to this text box.  Whenever a key was hit in this text box, the value would be read and updated.  I did not have all the events for the new text box.  It has not been updated to what some other events.  At that time, it was apparently too late (most of the time on the development computer) and occasionally on the Production machine.
    

    Activation of the "Update value while typing" indicator means that the value field would properly up-to-date each time he has been seen/accessible.

    I can't display the preview pane when opening for the column.
     
			 
    When I open an Illustrator file I can't see my preview to column view (my favorite) pane. The preview pane appears to have expanded much more to the right so that no matter how wide, I do the window that I still cannot see the preview. I tried to drag the window beyond the size of my screen to see if there is a column separator after the panoramic overview I can move to the left to reduce the size of the preview pane, but it seems not to be. Any ideas on how to solve this problem? It is not critical, but boring.

    Do not use column view. He broke. Use the display of the list. Select a file, and then press the SPACEBAR to preview. Work within dialog boxes.
