    Can anyone help?

    Concerning

    G  :)

    Hello

Just to keep you up-to-date and informed...

I contacted MS support and had a wonderful guy named Alex help me.

All other Anti virus software could not find this particular Trojan horse. :(

Security Essentials and also Malwarebytes found no Trojan horse that was attached to a cookie to follow up on one of the files.

We ended up scanning using http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro - who found and removed.

After that, a quick scan with Security Essentials - a complete stop and restart - and no longer reappear files/folders which I have since deleted.

    Now, all my problems disappeared.

Thank you for your help and support, and if anyone else has this problem I did - there is a solution :)

  • TrojanDropper; Win32/Dunik! RTS - or files affected not given

Whenever I run a full scan with the Microsoft Safety Scanner, it tells me that TrojanDropper:Win32 / Dunik! RTS was on my computer and PARTIALLY REMOVED.

However, he didn't tell me which file or files are still infected causing.  No file name is given - just that this Trojan horse has been partially removed.

When I do a full scan with Windows Defender, it tells me that my computer is clean and works normally!  When I do a full scan with Spybot Search Destroy &

or of Malawarebytes Anti Malaware, I get the same results - nothing about the infection by TrojanDropper:Win32 / Dunik! RTS - computer clean.

I'd appreciate some answers on what is happening on?  And how I can scan Microsoft security to revome completely this Trojan horse?  I tried scanning mode safe as well - same result.

    Hello

You do not specify your version of Windows. This troubleshooting should work with Windows 7
    Vista or XP.

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
    cause.

No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean.

It can be made repeatedly in Mode safe - F8 tap that you start, however, you must also run
the regular windows when you can.

TDSSKiller.exe. - Download the desktop - so go ahead and right-click on it - RUN AS ADMIN
It will display all the infections in the report after you run - if it will not run changed the name of
TDSSKiller.exe to tdsskiller.com. If she finds something or not does not mean that you should not
check with the other methods below.

So, I was infected by small win32. ca virus. Blue screen of death and all. The path of the failing application seems to be C:\Windows\System32\services.exe but when I scan it with my software McAfee and Malwarebytes Anti-Malwarenothing presents. I scanned with Malwarebytes and TDSS Killer of Kaspersky and it still cannot detect it. I found some infected software and removed it but not win32, because at the time I got another blue screen of death.

I also tried to manually remove the virus, but all the instructions step by step won't help me I can not find my virus to use. For example, it was suggested that I watch processes in my task manager for random.exe but I couldn't find that. Another suggested I change my registry and gave the names of files that Win32 hides usually below but I have not found anyone.

Please please please give me great detailed instructions how to remove this virus. I searched on other forums of discussion and tried other solutions, but they have not worked for me.

I recommend that you review the following.  If you have made reasonable efforts to locate and delete/quarantine declared malware from your computer then this can be a false alarm by Action Center.  It occurs on an occasional basis, but not necessarily aimed this reported malware.

Your BSOD may not be malware related, but just what is causing this BSOD can possibly cause a false reading to the center of the Action.
Have you studied the BSOD in Event Viewer to determine what is the cause?  Probably a driver is faulty - I had one of these last week on a desktop XP - a first in a few months on this computer and once again, he said it was a Windows Media Player problem - beats me.  It's frustrating.
    Good luck...

    Hello m.velentino,

Not sure if you are still having the error message isn't valid win32.applicaiton.

Get the error: not a valid 32-bit application can have several origins:
I have listed some of them below.

The file is corrupted, bad or missing.
-If the hard disk is damaged or hurt it cause work programs to fail, either because not all data can be read from the hard drive the program is damaged on the drive. Run scandisk and defrag on the hard disk to check for potential errors.
-If you run the program from a shortcut on the computer, verify that the program is still on the computer. In some cases if the program is no longer installed on the computer, you can get this error.

File is not designed for your version of Windows:
-If you try to run a program that is not designed for your version of Windows, you can get this error.
-Although many old programs designed to work in older versions of Windows will work with new versions of Windows, unfortunately, not all programs will not work.
-If the program is an MS-DOS program more former start program or Windows, you can get this error.
-If the program is designed for a 64-bit version of Windows and you are running in a 32-bit version of Windows, it will not work and generate this error.

File is a virus, worm or other malicious program file.
    -
This error can be generated by a file that is a virus, worm, Trojan horse or other type of malware file. Often, this will result because the antivirus installed on the computer will not allow the file to install or run. Try to analyze the file to check, it is not a virus or infected.
-If the file has been checked and is clean, it is always possible that the virus protection program or a another program installed on the computer is at the origin of questions during installation or execution of the program. Start the computer in Mode safe and try to run the program. start the computer in Mode safe will be that nothing is running in the background that could cause this problem.

    Hardware incompatibility.

-If you get this error during the installation of a program, it is also possible that the CD-ROM drive or the drive that you are installing the program from is not compatible with Windows or has drivers that are not compatible with Windows.
-Download the latest drivers for your CD player or other of the manufacturer of the computer or the manufacturer of the equipment. (Microsoft does not pilot for other materials)

Let us know if these suggestions help you.

  • Malware unremoveable

Hi people... I have a laptop infected.  I posted on another forum with a bit of success, but what follows is my mail, copy and pasted from said forum.

Hello. I have a problem with my laptop that various AV told me that I have Rootkit.Agent in my system. Is annoys me as his slow down my laptop to a snails pace and no matter what / who's advice I followed, I can't seem to remove. Its located in c:\windows\system32\drivers\ywytagq.sys. It may even be the ywytagq.sys file as I can not manually delete. I used AVG, Microsoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes Antimalware, trend micro Houscall, SuperAntispyware... and none of them can get rid of this 'thing'.

This is my first ever forum post so not sure what anyone who could help me in detail would need. I know what I need though, and it's this thing removed/deleted/killed/trampled then shot.

I can't do a system restore because this laptop never came with the system restore disks even if I bought nine just since more than a year. Its a Hewlett Packard Pavilion dv5 1110em... If that's any help... It seems I have to buy the HP System Restore disk, which seems a bit out of me. Money by typing c *. In addition, vista (32 bit) was preinstalled, so I have no disc for to be.

    This made my nut.

    Please, can anyone help?

    ... and...

Hi peeps, thank you for the welcome and information so far.

Microsoft Security Essentials won't update the definitions all of a sudden... I need to be connected to the Internet when I'm already. It gives an error code of 0x80072efe... whatever it is.

AVG can't find anything when I do a Rootkit scan or anything when I scan the infected file (c:\windows\system32\)

MBAM always detects the infection and lists as Rootkit.Agent in c:\windows\system32\drivers\ywytagq.sys and said it will remove the element on a restart... it never... even if I run the program in SafeMode... ALWAYS infection remains

MSE stopped me to download UNLOCKER. Said that it detected TrojanClicker:Win32 / Yabector.B. within Unlocker.

SuperAntispyware is not something other than some tracking cookies

Defender will not update or another. It has 0x800106ba and 0x800106b5 errors

A reboot, when I press F8 to got to the menu "System Restore" and choose the repair, I get an error with the code 0xc000000f. She not get spent then must restart Windows normally or in safe mode.

My HP restore partition does not work correctly... There never. Basically I have a spare 9 GB of space on this laptop that I never use.

The date of the file ywytagq.sys is identical to today. So, for today, it's 09/03/2010...tomorrow that it will be 10/03.2010 I'm gusseing, as was the previous dates (08/03, 07/03). I can't rename or move to another folder... it does not allow me to. I tried calling bollocks.sys... but computer says no! It is in my opinion definitely uneeded and the cause of all this. In practice, it opens the tabs in my browser that connect to advertising and also someones YouTube channel.

Just off time protection real MSE to re-download Unlocker. It worked this time but Unlocker couldn't unlock the file ywytagq.sys. Although I agreed to let him perform a deletion on the next reboot... results to follow.

MBAM is also constantly blocking IP "malicious." Almost 1 every 2 minutes. If I can work out how to attach logs for this post, I'll do for your reading amusement and potential. I do, incidentally, serioulsy appreciated all the help and all the time you give a lot to this problem of mine.

Overall, this laptop sounds shagged you don't think. If only I had HP restore disks.

(OK, cannot work out how attatch to the logs for this post... so, just copy n paste them in?)

    ... and...

OK, after a reboot, the file is STILL there... Unlocker has not removed it. To add to my woes, MSE has just detected Trojan:winNT / Bubnix.gen! In c:ProgramData/Microsoft/Search/Data/Applications/Windows/tmp.edb

Anyone know of a place I can get a decent laptop for free? That's a joke btw.

So, my laptop was recently reimagee. I was able to get a recovery key Firefox before everything has been removed. When I downloaded Firefox on the recreated machine, asked me to connect. After several resets the password, I have been in. None of my data came down from the cloud "firefox". It does give me an option to enter the recovery key. Is it possible to recover all my stuff?

Firefox sync was never to be a backup service, you should always have a printed copy of your data.

You can do it, although there is no guarantee that it will work.

  • Since the installation of the latest version of 4.0b12, I am unable to connect to any https through a proxy site. Connection works if no proxy is involved, with the proxy, I get a message like "proxy refuses the connection". Thank you for your answer

I am connected to the network of the client and I should use a proxy.
I successfully authenticate to the proxy and I try to access https://mail.google.com.
I get a message that the proxy refuses the connection.
I noticed that this happens with all https sites.
If I connect with my mobile internet stick without proxy, I am able to connect: the combination of proxy and https is a failure.
Other computers on the same network with different browsers can connect to https via the proxy.

I work with the development of Firefox on this team. As far as I know, they seem to think that there are 2 or 3 different with the same symptoms or very similar problems, all involving proxies. They think that they have set their all for RC1.

Right now, it seems that we just want to test an early version.

    You can get that here:

    http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.or.../Firefox-4.0b13pre.en-US.Win32.installer.exe

Install this somewhere (not in your current installation directory), quit all instances of Firefox and try it. I would like to know if it works.

  • When you use a Proxy, FF4b12 unable to connect to websites over HTTPS

Until including beta FF4b11 this behavior doesn't happen; using proxies was no problem at all. Since FF4b12 I can browse Web sites using HTTP, but is no longer using HTTPS. The proxy server uses the standard port 3128.

A result of this. As far as I know, they seem to think that there are 2 or 3 different with the same symptoms or very similar problems, all involving proxies. They think that they have set their all for RC1.

I passed along addresses but now, it seems that we just want to test an early version.

    You can get that here:
