Trouble installing a game

I had to do a system restore and now I am trying to install this game clled Arthur and the Minimoys. It indicates that it will not install because my computer is not changed. Can you explain what this means and what I can do to solve this problem issue so I can play this game.

Oleaut32.dll is a part of Windows 7 system file.

Adding to the suggestion posted by user "mnmagri", I suggest you to perform the auditor tool (SFC.exe) system files to make the file system safe are
intact and replace the file. Follow these steps:

1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
2. right click on cmd in the list programs and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
3. at the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:

sfc/scannow

Trouble installing an older game

I have a longer game that I am trying to install, but I get an "unsupported 16 - bit application" error message: "the program or the function cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit Windows versions. Contact the software vendor to ask if there is a version compatible with windows 64-bit. »

Thank you for the feedback. I have a last option. You can try to install Virtual PC on your computer. This will allow you to run another version of Windows on your desktop. With that you can then install the game in the Windows Virtual PC and run it without any problems. You will need to have a copy of what ever version of Windows that you want to load on Virtual PC. For example, you can install Windows XP in Virtual PC, then install the game on Windows XP and run perfectly. I have included the link below to download Virtual PC 2007.

Trouble installing the smc fan control

If I own a 13 "macbook pro, early 2015. I thought to download the abnormally hot application of smc as my macbook seemed to fan control placed on my lap, as I was sitting on my bed. I went online and read many recommendations for the smc fan control. However, when I downloaded it, the MacUpdate Installer was having trouble installing it. It shows that it is 100% installed in vehicles, but I can't leave the MacUpdate window as she just will not complete the installation even if it shows a 100%. I tried to restart my macbook, but the installation window would not let me restart my mac either. I can't even leave the installer as it continues to display the installation process is not yet complete.

I am trying to install a game open source called Rigs of Rods on my dual-boot MacBook Pro with Windows 7 installed via Boot Camp. I get an error that prevents the installation of DirectX. I know that Win 7 includes DirectX 11, but this game does not currently support the DX 11. If I get this error when you try to install DirectX 9. I had a similar problem with another game that I tried installing on another machine Win 7 which is not started in dual mode, and install DirectX 9 worked perfectly. Try to install the game in administrator mode and check if this solves the problem.

To install the program in administrator mode,

a. Locate the program icon, right-click and select run as administrator.

b. when the UAC message is displayed, do one of the following:

· If logged in as a standard user, or if UAC is configured to always require credentials, enter the appropriate administrative credentials, and then click OK.

· If you logged in as an administrator and UAC is not configured to always require credentials, click Yes to start the application.

Proceed with the installation and check whether the problem is resolved.
