Trouble stretching an image to adjust settings

Hello

I'm a relatively new to Labview student working on a project to find and identify the State of a board game of checkers with a web camera. So far, I found the edges of the Board with the finder bracket VI, have cultivated the photo on these edges and it rotates so that the top of the Board sits parallel to my plan. However, the edges of the image are not perfectly straight, and the picture is not a true square. (some edges are slightly biased) Someone knows a way to stretch a picture like this in a rectangle?

Thank you!

-Ian

    Hi, how to set the boarders of a rectangular selection in the paint without him stretch the image?

    I'm afraid this is a limitation (and personally, I find frustrating) paint. Essentially, you get a chance to make a selection. A trick I learned is to zoom as high as possible, start a corner of the selection, and then (while holding down the left button of the mouse to the operation drag) hold Ctrl key while turning the mouse scroll wheel to zoom out giving a larger surface to complete the dragged selection.

  • How a slide show be configured to display images FULL (adjust onscreen) on desk in the Picture Manager folder?

    How can I configure the slideshow that appears on your desktop to show a COMPLETE picture (mounting the image on the screen, rather than cut the image)? I never had this problem in the past. You had just open the folder with the images you want slideshow on your desktop, click on the slideshow and the images in Picture Manager folder will display full screen. Now they are cutting off the coast, rather that to adapt to the screen. There must be a simple setting - but WHERE? Thank you!

    Hi Gary,.

    Find the photos you want to include in your slide show. All images must be located in the same folder.

    a. open the wallpaper by clicking on the Windows key + X , and then select Control Panel. In the search box, type desktop background, and then click Change desktop background.

    b. If the photos you want to use are not in the list of background images, click on the list of the location of the image to view other categories, or click Browse to search for the folder where the photos your computer.

    c. Select the check box for each picture you want to include in your slide show.

    d. click on an element in the picture position list to crop the pictures to fill the screen, adjust the pictures to the screen, stretch the images to fit the screen, tile images, or center the pictures on the screen.

    You can also see the steps in the following Microsoft article: see photos on the desktop, start and the lock screen

    You can try this?

    Enter the address Subject: config and press ENTER. It may seem to freeze for more than 10 seconds during the charge of the list.

    In the search box, type perm and press ENTER to filter the list.

    Find permissions.default.image and resets its value, or change its value to 1 (load all images) or 3 (load images from site but block images off site).

  • Photoshop CS6 - command "open the first image to apply settings" does not - panasonic RAW

    I tested the two raw Panasonic GH4 and G7 files. In both cases the Image Processor passes right through without stopping at the window of Camera Raw - raw files even if the "first Open image to apply settings" is checked. Canon's RAW files and Nikon behaves as usual. I use Photoshop CS6 on Windows7 and Camera Raw 9.1.1. Is it a known - problem anyone know a fix?

    By Arne

    The problem is RW2 is a new RAW file format and not exists in the CS6 calendar.   Adobe does not refresh the old version of their software.  However, you can resolve this problem. Change of line 115 of file "Image Processor.jsx" Add RW2 as this:

    gFilesForCameraRaw = Array ('TIF', "CRW", "NEF", "RAF", "ORF", "MRW", "DCR", "MOS", "CRS", "PEF", "DCR", "CR2", "DNG", "RAILWAY", "X3F", 'GROSS', "RW2");

    Looks like you are applying (accidentally) a "Preset" for these photos. Make sure that there is no preselection specified in the import dialog box, and the first (bottom) in the history of develop does not list a preset.

  • Placeholder image - how not to stretch the images by default

    Captivate 8.0.1.242 - Windows 7

    How to make the image placeholder to not stretch the images by default and instead when I add the image using the + symbol, must preserve the proportions of the image and resize only based on the width or height?

    Or keep the proportions of the image but the culture of the surplus beyond the current size of the placeholder.

    I want this default because when I create my classes, my images vary in sizes and proportions a bit. So invest time on each image through "Edit image" in the properties is not effective.

    As Lilybiri, we never use the placeholder either, but you can create templates in Photoshop for your images that have the same size of canvas than your placeholders. We did when we created models for SMEs to use in one of our series of courses. The images are scaled and cropped in Photoshop, quick and easy.

  • How to work the DNG? is it always the original image with the settings of self-development?

    Hello!

    A question about DNG. recently, I had to put a bunch of my RAWs to print elsewhere. I copied all the RAWs and XMP files. Then imported on a different PC/LR. Others do not, some reflect my edit-adjustments. RAWS all VINTAGE.

    I save now on some DNG of my final print changes.

    I'm thinking a DNG in PDF format.

    When I export a DNG a RAW processed, is it cooked in? or is it always the original image with the settings of self-development?

    Thank you

    Alex

    Lightroom is a non-destructive Editor. So, you can take any file type (JPG, DNG, RAW, TIF, other) and edit this photo, and always come back to the unedited version.

    If you export your RAW as DNG or export your RAW as the 'Original', you can also revert to the unedited export version (but not if you export as JPG or TIF).

    With regard to your initial statement that you have 'copied the RAWs to print elsewhere', they may not had the changes written to XMP. It would also be a problem with the DNG format, as I said, you should enable the option to write changes into XMP or issue a command, because by default, Lightroom writes not changes to your DNG or sidecar xmp for the RAWs files.

    The copy is different from export.

  • How to stretch an image inside a repeating Panel layout?

    Hello

    I want to stretch an image given to fill all available space, but this does not work if the image is too small, is it possible?
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
    <jsp:root xmlns:jsp="http://java.sun.com/JSP/Page" version="2.1" xmlns:af="http://xmlns.oracle.com/adf/faces/rich"

                <af:image source="welcome.jpg" id="i1"/>
            </f:facet>
        </af:panelStretchLayout>
    </jsp:root>

    Put inlineStyle on af:image like this:

    inlineStyle="width:100%;height:100%;"

    JDev wil complain of percentage values, but it will work.
    If you do not want to see that error in JDev you can do with this selectors css class and put it in the styleClass attribute instead of using inlineStyle.
    Both solutions work in all browsers.

    Can I make an image stretched to fill a screen? This example will grow only to fill the height or with 100% it doesn't stretch the image. Any thoughts on how to change this?

    Hi ryancanulla,.

    You must set the maintainAspectRatio = "false" on the Image control to stretch/scale to the full size of its container.

    Default maintainAspectRatio = "true" and he could not stretch completely... Then go to false.

    Thank you

  • Screen, visually seems to be stretched - icons, images, Visual, much larger and broader - please help!

    Several weeks ago, my husband was working on our computer, and he touched anything to do with the button of start by accident.  Our screen and all the elements of it are abnormally - high they now seem to be stretched longer before.  It almost looks like a way things have air when you are in 'safe mode' but there is nothing anywhere on the screen that says "safe mode".  We have closed to the down/restarted/attempted to change the settings in the Panel, but nothing has worked to return to the normal display.  Any help on how to solve this problem would be much appreciated!

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If the above does not fix it:
    Go to the Web site of the manufacturer of your laptop computer-graphics/computer card > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.
    Then:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-AU/Windows-Vista/change-screen-resolution
    Change the screen resolution
    Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.
    See you soon.
  • Import pictures from the opening with adjustment settings intact?
    Is it possible to import images from Aperture to Lightroom without losing metadata for all non-destructive adjustments that have been made in Aperture, or will all adjustments be "cooked" when images are imported?
    Hello
    How do you get a picture no adjusted Adobe Camera Raw in Photoshop Elements?  When I open a RAW file in ACR, the image is slightly different from the RAW (.nef) image as seen in other viewers the image.  I believe that the difference may be due to default settings in ACR.  What parameters corresponding to no adjustment at all?
    The default settings or in the context menu where it says
    Camera Raw default is closest to an unadjusted raw file
    This camera raw provides. The default settings can be changed,
    so, you might want to click on the shortcut menu and choose Reset Camera Raw default.
    Other spectators as decision-makers in the camera software, can bring up the different file
    because he can read the settings from the camera this camera raw reads no and some
    viewers aren't really color management.
    The idea of camera raw adobe is really to make the raw file resemble
    you want through the use of various adjustments in camera raw.
  • Coverage or Global setting 4 a catalogue of Images W / individual settings?
    I have 1000 images in a folder (imported in Lightroom).  I went thru & made adjustments to each of them.  I want to save the data for EACH of them to readjust their brand-new, while being able to return to the original setting?  Important; I don't want to reset each back picture 1 by 1.  To be very clear, I repeat;  say that I adjusted the multiple settings (color temperature, sharpness, vignette, satch, hue, etc.) differently on each image, I want to global or cross-cutting save all those setting, so that I can top all with different settings while being able to present a new request my 1st round of adjustments to all 1000 images quickly.  I would also like to be able to save the 2nd set of adjustments as well and switch between the 2.  I prefer not to make virtual copies of everything, if possible, do not want to take the time to go through & select all 1 by 1, etc..  Thanks in advance 4 your help John Doe
    You can do this via the virtual copy fairly easily... just select all the image... create virtual copies... and then add a label side or color or a specific keyword that might eventually filter that only virtual copies can be viewed or excluded... Adjust to your taste and always have your original development of tact.
    In case you use "clear history of Firefox closing:
    You can control and manage permissions for all areas on the Subject: authorizations page or for the current domain via the "Site identity button" (globe/lock) on the address bar and click on "More information" to open "Page Info" and go to the permissions tab.
