  There is no alternatives that save to iCloud instead of it, or upgrade your software and/or hardware to run a newer version of iTunes.  iOS 10 requires iTunes 12.5.1 find which demands in turn 10.9.5 OSX or newer.

  Congratulations on your new iMac! I understand from your message that you want to create a backfile to your iPhone 5 c, but are afraid of losing the data on it. I know how it is important for you to keep your data on your iPhone 5 c and to create a backup file for it.

  When you plug your iPhone 5 c in your new iMac, iTunes should open. Your iPhone 5 c should also receive a message asking if you trust the computer. Go ahead and trust of the computer.

  iTunes should display a page that says: Welcome to iTunes and you give 2 options. You want to choose the option to play up like new. Don't worry, it will not erase anything from your iPhone. The next page, you should see if the page summary of the iPhone. You should see a picture of an iPhone and a description.

  In the middle of the right side, you should see a section called manually backup and restore. To create a backup file, select Back Up Now. This article has steps and a picture to help you create an iTunes up. I have also highlighted the steps below:

  The problem is that your Mac works an obsolete OS X 10.6.8. iTunes for Mac minimum requirement is v10.9.5 or later which is indicated here > http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

  The alternative is to see if your Mac can upgrade to Mac OS Sierra > macOS - how updated - Apple

  With Sierra installed you can run the latest version of iTunes 12.5.1 and should be able to sync your iPhone.

  I have an iPhone 5 c and as about a week ago, does not charge via the USB port on my laptop. He sees very well in my wall sockets and Sockets USB as well, but not in my laptop. I have an Acer laptop running Windows 7. Windows is up to date, iTunes has the latest version installed. Whenever I plug in my phone, one of the following conditions occurs:

  (2) noise "plugged" USB lights, the window on the lower right, tell that a USB device has malfunctioned

  (3) (rarely) of phone calls after I tried several things

  What happened is I would plug my phone, she would charge via USB, iTunes opens automatically, and "trust to this computer" popup would come on my phone if I had unlocked it. None of this is happening now. I did the following to try to remedy:

  (1) power cord iPhone replaced (it was time for a new anyway)

  (2) uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes

  (3) restart computer and phone probably 29856 times

  (4) device Manager... nothing comes up at all, not even the unknown device. RARELY the unknown device comes up, then I get a "Code 10: this device cannot start" error, but it is * in a handbasket just trying to get to THIS point! and IF I do what they say to do to correct a code 10 (uninstall all USB and restart the computer, then USB devices hook to the top one at a time), so I'm now at my problem of a communication that don't meet pluse between my phone and PC

  5) tried to the registry editor, but not "upper filters" option rises

  (6) virtually every other option on this thread of 5 pages iphone not recognized by Windows 7

  The USB port of your laptop does not provide sufficient power to recharge the phone. It is a hardware problem with your laptop, not the phone.

• How can I get rid of the Starburn browser hijacker

  Amazing thing, I saw this on a forum legitimate anywhere, I can't find answers unless I want to pay for a tool of suppression of sites that I don't trust. My computer is infected with "Starburn" pirate of browser. No Antivirus tool detects and removes. Tried Malware Bytes, Ad Aware and AVG Antivirus. I can't find anything in the modules or extensions indicating that it's there at all, but my computer is 50% slower and my CPU usage is shockingly high even with a single open tab. I welcomed the upload of my information the module below.

  I checked the Task Manager and, of course, normally have several windows open. There are many processes that are running, but when I search the Web for what they are, they all seem to be legitimate. I also used Rootkit Revealer, looking for a couple of registry files that I saw displayed commonly people «SAY» are associated with Starburn, but they do not appear in my registry I see. There is nothing to uninstall in Control Panel, "add and remove. There is no visible ons or extensions relating to this browser hijacker.

  If anyone has ANY help or suggestions please post them. This hijacker affects all browsers. So if I switch to IE or Chrome, it's the same thing, that tells me that this is not a Firefox problem but possible something deeply embedded in the system. Then reset Firefox with its default values (which I did not) almost certainly would not solve the problem. Thanks for your time.

  Giedrius... I can't find the words to thank you for your time and help! Adwcleaner 'DID' detect the hijacker, but unfortunately was not able to remove it. He tried and said it succeeded twice, but the hijacker was extremely sneaky and nasty. While I was waiting on Hitman Pro, I visited your blog you me bound and followed the subject: config steps and it worked. The pirate air may still be in the system somewhere, but is no longer redirects me. And Adwcleaner, accelerated considerably the computer.

  Again, I can't thank you enough. Again, I can use my computer with no problems. I'm not very spiritual, but I always thought that what goes around, comes around... karma, in other words.   A few months ago I bought the Satellite A660-10 x. On installed original system it freezes once (I used laptop maybe an hour) but I thought it was an accident, or maybe something was misconfigured. Then I installed the clear disk from Microsoft (Windows 7 Home Premium) system and install only the necessary drivers, but the problem from happening again. At first I thought as this only, when I don't click or move the mouse for over 1 minute, but that for now the problem appears also when I click or write something. I very rarely use this laptop, but as you can imagine it is very annoying and it is that I can not trust this laptop computer and the data on it. Maybe you know what are the causes of the problem or maybe some new drivers have been released to remove this problem?

Mind you, I surf the net, play a few games, shop and pay my bills.  Seems this computer can't handle it.  So I send to be repaired (2 weeks without a computer) and the hard drive is fixed. My computer OVERHEATS on a regular basis. Restarts in this self. Smells like something burning .blue screens and black screens. The display flickers. Now we just wear it not light. It is a lemon of a computer and I do not trust on this computer. I want a new computer and a different model. I lost my information twice on this computer. I use it as a work computer. I started to save my info every day now, since I don't trust on this computer. Thank God I did. This game me a try loading windows black screen. don't take the media disc then it starts to smell and no power. They want to 'fix' this shit of a computer again. I'm so freaking tired. I lost so much money muchn because I work from home, and they don't care. I don't want to keep the same model. I hate it, if she has not worked the first time I hit, why would I even?
