  The problem is that the program that allows you to mount the image always uses the image.  In my case I used the magical disc. Go to the start menu find the magic disk or folder folder, there should be an option to uninstall the magic disc. I tried UN-installing conrtol add and remove programs but it wouldn't let me. You can also click on computer in Start menu and see if the file you want to remove is always mounted (appears as a CD image). In this case that you can click the eject disc hit.

  I don't think you can do it with the stock in the messaging application.  You can, however, do it with a third-party application.  If you install Handcent SMS, it's pretty easy:

  -Open the thread (in Handcent SMS, no enforcement stock)

  -Press the settings button, and then press "More".

  -Press on "Batch Mode".

  -Check the box to the right of each message that you want to remove

  -Press the settings button, and then press "Delete selected".

  -On the confirmation prompt, select "Delete" (as an option, you can select the checkbox 'Delete locked messages' before you press "Delete" if all messages are locked)

  Handcent SMS is a free application available on Android Market.  I hope that's what you're looking for!

  As Charles said, it would be very helpful if you could post a screenshot. When you say 'rectangular background', do you mean the locked background layer that is in your layers panel when you create a new canvas? I posted a screenshot below.

  

  If this is the case, you can simply remove the background layer. Unless you have an another background layer, this will leave you with a background transparent, essentially "withdrawal" of the area around your logo. Then, you would be able to save the file in a format that supports transparency (for example, .png).

  

  Please post again if you want more details. Screenshots would be very helpful!

  I am wanting to create a moving object that will be exported in a tv spot.

  As much as I know there no option to set a file with a transparent background in Design view.  A transparent background is normally performed in the code of a page integration web html that displays the Flash file (using wmode = "transparent" as a parameter).

  I recently bought the BlueFx ultimate lower third Megabuck with Adobe Effects 13.7.2. I am currently changing my current project on Camtasia Version 2 Mac. I also bought the new open 2 with BlueFX and had no problem by adding text, changing colors and make the file for my new open. Everything was going well until I started working on the lower third. By changing colors and adding text were no problem, but when I went to make the black background is always showing and there is no transparency.   Camtasia is does not support alpha channels. I use it because I have a screen cap app that does a much better job for me. If taken Camtasia support alpha channels, you should be able to find something in the help files or settings to turn it on. The problem is with Camtasia, not AE. I would check with their customer.

  I would never do my final Assembly in a screen Cap program. A NLE such as Premiere Pro goes much faster and have much better audio tools and it is easier to call outs and mix with other media.

  I apologize for the lack the only problem you had was with Camtasia. Maybe I was able to save 3 hours.

• floated .png don't like the transparent background

  It's really weird. I have a .png image file which happens to have a transparent background. It seems, when I import into Dreamweaver. But as soon as I apply my class good float in it, the background is no longer transparent . The bottom turns into a light gray color. Anyone know what could be causing this?
