Load multiple external images
If you load 3 external images in AS3 and to perform a function "useImages()" say only once every three images have loaded what is the best way to listen to their full load.
FOR EXAMPLE;
loader1.addEventListener (Eveent.COMPLETE, incLoader)
loader2.addEventListener (Eveent.COMPLETE, incLoader)
loader2.addEventListener (Eveent.COMPLETE, incLoader)
function incLoader(event:Event)
{
numLoaded ++
If (numLoaded is 3)
{
useImages()
}
}
There must be a better way than the foregoing.

I started working a lot with the Classes, but I'm still reletively new to them. I wrote a class "creature" (which extends Sprite), and I have everything works well... except when it comes to the display of the image of the creature.
In previous programs, I was able to load external images using the Loader class. However, this is possible on the main timeline in Flash, right? Like this:
var imgLoader:Loader = new Loader();
imgLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, done);
imgLoader.load (new URLRequest ("001.png"));
function done(evt:Event):void {}
addChild (Bitmap (imgLoader.content));
}
Ideally, I want to do is just have a function within my class. The function must contain the addChild statement, so I might just do:
var MyCreature:creature = new creature();
MyCreature.loadImage ();
However, I'd be just as happy if I could just load the Bitmap and return it to the class. Then I could addChild myself in the main timeline:
var MyCreature:creature = new creature();
addChild (MyCreature.getBitmap ());
I tried to put the Loader code in a function within the class of creature, however it does not work. She didn't return errors, but it also doesn't display anything, despite the fact that it containing the addChild statement. Using the command path, it looks like within the service implementation, but addChild does nothing. Am I missing something? Is there a better way?

Load an external image and animate?
Maybe this is a naïve question, but--
What is the best method to draw external content (an image file) in a Flash movie AND then ANIMATE this content?
I assumed I would need to use the LOADER COMPONENT to attract an image from an external URL, but is there a way to then perform a simple animation (for example, drag the image on stage) with the loaded image? I can't understand how to manipulate an image, once loaded (using the LOADER COMPONENT).
Yes, I am new to Flash, so there may be six other ways which I am not aware.
Suggestions/solutions? Use the MovieClipLoader class to load the image into a holder clip, and then use the onLoadInit function to animate the clip of the licensee.

Loading multiple external images
Hello, I am very new to Flash cs5, and I've created invisible buttons which, once clicked will be load an image into a UILoader.
During the test, an output error message comes up saying:
Error #2044: Unmanaged by ioError:. Text = Error #2035: URL not found. URL: file:///E|/butcher1/images/cut0.jpg
I thought he could have incorrect naming conventions or instance names, but I checked and I don't know that I have it straight.
Could it have something to do with my configuration of the scenario that I have all my layers on the same line... If that makes sense?
Should I start over?
It really makes my head, I would be so happy to get some help on this.

The stuff of error might be a revelation, unless I'm missing some behind the functioning of the scenes of CS5/AS3, any reference to "_level # ' is not AS3. If you open the Flash of your publishing settings section, which version of actionscript you specified in the dropdown selection? If not AS3. ensure.

Tries to access an external hard drive get the error "system error 1130 has occurred."
I have an old box with Windows XP Professional SP3 installed that I use as a file server. I installed a 2 TB external hard drive and set a couple of actions on it. Everything worked fine until 2 weeks ago when I lorsque je pouvais pouvais join is no longer to the actions of one other machines of the network: whenever I tried, I got:
1130 system error has occurred.
Not enough server storage is available to process this command.
I installed the additional memory (now 2 GB), nothing helps.
The really strange thing is: I can set and use actions on the C drive (a small disc 40 GB, only containing the operating system). but actions on the external drive D (the big disk) do not work.
Someone has an idea?

Follow the steps to solve the problem:
a. click Start, click run, type regedit and then click OK.
b. look for, and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters
c. click Edit, point to newand then click DWORD value.
d. Type IRPStackSize, and then press ENTER to name the value.
Note Type IRPStackSize exactly as it is displayed. The value name is case-sensitive.
e. click Editand then click Edit.
f. in the value data box, type the appropriate value for the network, and then click OK.
If the problem persists after you complete this procedure, increase the value of IRPStackSize even more.

I tried to update itunes 11.0.3 file security error 50 error
Hello I tried to update itunes on my Windows 7 PC 11.0.3. It gets to half way & then I get this error...
Error getting file security\\fileserver1\fldrRedir \kelly\application Data\microsoft\internetexplor\get last error: $50
Can anyone help? I should also mention that I had a similar problem in the past but can't remember how I fixed it.

(HELP) - multiple loading external images #1010 error
I am a newbie in Flash and spent all day trying to solve this problem and can't solve this no matter what I do.
I use Action Script 3.0, CS5 on Windows 7.
I am trying to load two external images (thumbnails) in the magazine "See the picture below for reference", where will be the size of the full image. However, I get this error when testing my movie. What I am doing wrong?
Film test error message:

Go to your publication of Flash settings and select the option to enable debugging. Then, the error messages could include an indication of which lines are at the origin of the problem.
And just for fun to ask because the code is a bit weak... is the mainLoader inside a container named portfolioBkgd?

Assignment of external image loaded movieclip
I have the video clip of "replay_btn". Initially, on stage, it's empty. In as3 code, I am loading an external image using xml.
Like this

now, when I run the swf file, the loaded image goes on top of the clamp from moving replay_btn. I want to know,
How can I make the "replay_btn" to say that the loaded image is your background image.
Add it to a deep under your touch (with addChildAt)
or add your button above your image (using addChild (replay_btn)).

I have provided the above solution works if you have the images in your publication and if you want to form load images from another server rather than the relative location of your html file.
Now if you want to load images dynamically in a rectagle container you will have to code.
Here is an example for this
Create a "rectangle" name "Rectagle.
Add the code snippet in the composition of the ready or other actions user based on your requirement
"" var myImagetag = 'http://wwwimages.adobe.com/include/style/default/SiteHeader/logo-2x.png ">"

You can load several times, or you can use the bitmapdata class to make copies of the loaded bitmap image.

Need help to load an external SWF
I'm not very proficient in Flash, so any help will be greatly appreciated. I am trying to load an external SWF with the following code:
T1_Bttn_BloodCar.onRelease = function() {}

It loads the SWF file, but it is not playing correctly when I test it. Here's how the loaded movie is supposed to look like:

Try using MovieClipLoader (loadClip method) class rather than the loadMovie method. In this way, you can have a listener who expects the movie to be loaded and then pull it in-game, by assigning actions and properties after the fact.

I'm trying to load a png image file in my application to screen_blit later to a window. I have a few questions:
1. How can I find the full path to a file in my package?

Try the following steps to load the image file in your application.
First, add your image file in bar - descriptor.xml file in active tag
and give the path of the file as 'app/native/imagefilename. " I hope it will work for you.

Last time I tried to load an external clip I could do it like this

So now I want to achieve exactly the same in AS3
I looked at the examples on the web but do me all kinds of errors, and basically don't know what I'm doing. I also want to know how to navigate to files .swf in a file structure, as I have to build a structure of fscommand old school for a cd-rom file.
