Tuneup TuneUp: helps

Hello and greetings, I remember my last HP computer that was running win7 there was an option of tuneup when I opened assistant support. where can I find that on win10? or, if there is such a thing.

I have another question which I'll post on another thread.

Hello joeypinter,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that you are looking for the tune up service on your HP laptop. It does not appear that the HP Support Assistant has this feature in Windows 10. However, it is a document that will help you at every step that the development would be completed.

AVG wanted to bother with "Site display settings" Firefox or something like that, in order to use Firefox for my internet speed. I did accidentally and Firefox has seemed to become slower (or paranoid). I can't understand what AVG has done, and I hope that someone might know.

Never heard talk of launch manager on the Toshiba laptop computer, but of course, the FN buttons are controlled by special software.
I put t know what system you are using and what laptop do you have but for example:
Using the Win 7, value added package system and some utility Flash card access buttons controls the FN.

  • What can you tell me about PC TuneUp Maestro who comes to find its way onto our computer. is it safe?

Just turned on computer after a stay of 2 weeks. Installed the latest Microsoft Updates. After the computer has been restarted, this never met before the program/application called PC TuneUp Maestro appeared on the screen and made a kind of computer called Smart TuneUp sweep.
Where did this come from? Is it safe?
    Thank you

    Hi AH,.

I have no idea how PC TuneUP Compuclever Maestro obtained on your system, but I recommend you not run or even open it to all and remove as soon as POSSIBLE.  Many articles consider it a scam.  At best, it's a registry cleaner that is, like all others, poison in your system.  I couldn't find a single valid product which was not considered dangerous by WOT http://www.mywot.com/review.

It can be installed in pieces (more than one name or an element in the list) that must be uninstalled separately.  Although it would probably work with programs and features in Control Panel, I recommend using the free Revo: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html in advanced mode (but taking care that you remove ONLY the associated elements and nothing else - if in doubt, make a note of it and leave it alone).

Earlier, it went better.  Probably you have been deceived by downloading with something else without your knowledge (if you don't do it yourself).

Once done, update and run a full scan of your system with any AV program allows you to ensure that you are not infected.  Then check to make sure that it is completely gone.

If you have any doubts, all rest, after return and we will do more research for leftovers using other products to help us find and remove any found object.

    Good luck!

In an attempt to clean and optimize my computer, two days ago I installed AVg PC TuneUp and went through all of htat eleemnts program to optimize my computer.
In addition, I went into Add/Remove programs and demolished a bunch of stuff that was "rarely". This figure includes some different MSXML 4.0 type things like well asMS framework for user mode driver.
This morning when I woke up my computer in a few minutes the computer froze and when I restarted manually a function all on its own when in the start of the screen, he began to run something that said:
    Checking file system on C:

A disk check has been schelduled
Widnows wil now check the disk.
CHKDSK checks the files, security index descritions, usn journal

  • His recently worked very well, but I used Tuneup Shredder and now it looks distorted and scratchy...

I've been shredding my recycling bin with Tuneup Shredder, method of Gutmann, just to see what he would do. When I started the shredder, my laptop is running slow and I knew was going to happen. After 5 minutes, I became impatient with the slowness of my laptop (I use windows xp), and so I cancelled it. And then I decided that I wanted to watch a movie, but low and here, the sound was rough (actually, more like distorted). It is not only for my windows media player, but for the sounds of windows themselves, and when I troubleshoot, anysound coming out is horrible. I mean, sure, I can hear the sound, but it is distorted. And its getting boring now. When I look at movies and listen songs, windows player seems to slow down, and made noise. As any visualization/video soon pause, go quickly and so. The same with the sound. Looks like the sound's break into small pieces, then the course of reading for me.

Well, I tried Mr. fix it troubleshooted the heck out of realtek and directx and that's all I'm quite willing to do so, for fear of ruining my poor laptop still further.

And my system reads as follows:

    Microsoft Windows XP

    Home Edition

    Version 2002

    Service Pack 3

And Yes. Help, please. And Yes, I realize that it's my fault. And in this case, it's the curiosity that killed the laptop.

try a restore of the system for a happier time

    Also, remove shredder.

  • "TuneUp Utilities" uninstall failure

I'm tired to remove the software "TuneUp Utilities" of my PC with Vista system by all methods. but he has failed. Its logo is still showing in the lower right area.  The 4 files total 'DseShFxt - x 86 .dll, SDShelEx - Win32.dll, TuneUpUtilitiesApp32.exe, and TuneUpUtilitiesService32.exe"cannot delete from\\:C\Program TuneUp Utilities 2012.

Please please tell me how to remove them.

The way to get rid of any application is to use the applet to the Panel, programs and features.  Never try just remove the folder Program Files because you will remove a fraction of demand and parts remain in places like the registry, folder Windows, drivers, and other places.  This can cause unspeakable pain, in order to avoid by all means do.

If you cannot uninstall it from the applet programs and features, you can at least prevent it from start by running MSCONFIG.  To click Start and type MSCONFIG in the search box.  Then click on MSCONFIG. EXE in the list of programs to run it.  Then click on the Startup tab.  Look for an entry that starts this program and uncheck the box.  Click OK and restart.

  • Vista 32: Black screen on startup - TuneUp Utilities to blame!

I, like many others, make me a black screen with a white cursor when I start windows Vista. Using Ctrl + Alt + Delete I can open the Task Manager and access all my applications by starting a new task (for example Firefox, Cakewalk). I can minimize and reopen applications according to the needs, although there is no windows toolbar to speak of and no office.

This happened during the first boot after executing "Registry cleanup" TuneUp Utilities 2012.

    Oh, it cleaned well.

Two details that may be useful are:

    1. If I try to start Explorer.exe in Task Manager, it gives me this error: "the application could not initialize properly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application. »

    2. I do not have a system restore point :(

I guess TuneUp went and deleted or modified some piece of my registry... is there maybe a way I can find out what he did and cancel it?

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd drive (the best) or a

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the

You can try an In-Place Upgrade (hopefully save programs and data) or a repair installation
