• Adobe PDF printer works is not in Illustrator since 9.3.2 update.

  Hi all

  Since the update to Acrobat Pro 9.3.2,and I was not able to print to PDF from Illustrator using the printer Adobe PDF (Adobe PDF 9.0 on my printer list).

  I tried several reboots and also deleted the printer and run the Acrobat Installation of repair on the Help menu in Acrobat to reinstall the printer, but the problem remains.

  I also tried to print from other programs (Photoshop, Firefox and Thunderbird) and the printer worked fine so I suspect that this my be isolated to Illustrator.

  No error message is given and the Illustrator print jobs are listed as completed in the printer list, but no files are created.

  I have a work-around, printing of Postscript file, then conversion to PDF in Distiller and it seems to work very well, but not my ideal solution.

  I checked the updates in Illustrator, but none is available.

  System details:

  OS X 10.5.8 (MacBook Pro 15 ", about 2.5 years)

  Adobe Creative Suite CS 3, Acrobat Pro 9.3.2,and Illustrator 13.0.2

  Any ideas?

  Why not you use a direct recording to PDF in Illustrator? You will get a better product.

  I had Windows 7RC1 intalled Acrobat 7 (32 bit) and everything worked perfectly.  Now, I have installed the 64 bit version of Windows 7 and get an error message "Warning 20225. Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Setup was unable to create a new item: Adober PDF Port_Printer.  The PDF Adober printer may be unavailable.                "GetLastError: the operation completed successfully."

  It is just incompatible with the 64-bit version?  Information from Adobe on the said error message is not compatibile Win 7, but it certainly worked well in the 32-bit release candidate of Windows 7.

  When you try to install Adobe Creative Suite 3 on a 64-bit version of Windows, the installer returns the error message "the file AdobePDF.dll on Windows Vista CD-ROM is needed." You are given the option to search for the file.

  Reason

  Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional is installed with Design Premium, Design Standard, and Creative Suite 3 Web Premium versions. Although Adobe has tested Adobe Acrobat 8.0 (Standard and Professional) on the operating systems Microsoft Windows 64-bit running on a 64-bit processor computer, there are known limitations. For more details, see additional information.

  Solution (Windows Vista 64-bit)
  

  In order for Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional to be supported, the application must be updated after installation.

  1. When the error occurs, click Cancel to exit the dialog box and continue with the installation.
  2. Install Microsoft has Hot Fix, such as documented in Microsoft Knowledge Article #930627 available on http://support.microsoft.com/kb/930627 Base
  3. Update Acrobat version 8.1 or later. The Acrobat update is available on the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/support/downloads/ .

  Solution (Windows 7 64-bit)

  Manually extract the 'adobepdf.dll_64 ' of the file data1.cab file before installing Acrobat. When the prompt appears, navigate to this file and select it.

  1. Navigate to the folder that contains the file setup.exe to your installation of Acrobat 8.
  2. Locate the file "data1.cab" and open it (this may require a third-party compression utility, such as WinZip).
  3. Inside the content list, locate the file "adobepdf.dll_64" and copy it to your desktop.
  4. Run the program setup.exe installation and when the prompt appears, select Browse and select the file that you copied to the desktop.
     Note: If the file cannot be selected, change the file type drown down in the dialog box to "All files", or rename the file "adobepdf.dll" by removing "_64" from the end of the file extension.

  Because the Adobe PDF printer is not supported on 64-bit operating systems, version 64 bits of the AdobePDF.dll does not get extracted during installation. So, the installation program is unable to locate him. Although Acrobat is installed, the Adobe PDF printer will not install. Following the update procedure above will address the issue.

  I would advise you to go to "cloud.acrobat.com", connect using Adobe ID and then in main menu, select the option "export to PDF". Then follow the instructions on the screen to export pdf files to word or excel.

  ICH habe mich decided den Fotografieplan zu abonieren, habe mich nach dem Testzeitraum von 30 days versucht zu register dafur. Meine Mobilfunknummer already Deutschland/freigschalten, ich habe meine Anschrift angegeben wurde, ich habe eine Adobe ID forces. ICH habe sogar distinct varianten der tried times now. Meine erste Wahl war times by Bankeinzug monthly. There habe ich meine IBAN angegeben, nach dem 4. Schritt der 'KOSTENPFLICHTIGEN WITH' ging are however not continue. ICH wieder beim first Schritt landete. Nach eine paar habe ich das annoying Durchlaufen. Jetzt habe ich again versucht, ein Jahr im Voraus zu zahlen, sogar Beforderung und bei Paypal sind participations Login PayPal, aber're wiederholt sich immer wieder nur der 4. Schritt der Kaufabwicklung bzw. Bestellung. ICH sehe nur nach knapper time immer wieder den "BESTATIGEN"-button. "" Account Paypal Mein wird nicht belastet, ich keine Email von Adobe, das Produkt wird nicht freigeschalten out.

  Der Telefonsupport war auch so ein Ding, beim Bestellvorgang wurde eine Nummer eingeblendet, ich das ist der Support fits oben. Da sich nur eine Bandansage, ich eine pine typing solle end...

  The fixed! So that's how I did it. As I said Distiller crashed when loading fonts. I noticed that, it crashed after loading the "Colonna MT" police, so I removed the police immediately after Colonna MT in alphabetical order. After the removal of the police, everything works perfectly.

  If someone else should be useful, name of the font in question is com (sRB). Don't know why it causes Distiller DC crashing, or why it didn't happen with previous versions of distilling, but that's all.
