  You can use Lightroom or Photoshop on two computers using a single license.

  If you want to use on the third computer, you should disable any previous machines and turn it then back on the 3rd machine.

  You can also consider getting another license or subscription to your other computer.

  I had a F4580 without the installation disk.    So far, I failed to install it on two computers.

  With the recent announcement of Lightroom Mobile is free on Android and iPad, I adapted my workflow to use LR Mobile to perform a selection of image to edit later, for example, I am going through images, choose the best and then edit them on the desktop using Lightroom 5 (Windows). It is easy to go through a large amount of images when it suits me and I set up collections, successfully synchronized them with the selections of mobile and do my LR - it worked perfectly.

  I have CC photographer installed on a portable computer and a desktop computer. Everything works very well. I like to keep a catalog file in sync on both computers. Or should I try and configure the laptop as a mobile device and synchronize only some Collections? If so, how should I do this?

  Exactly. That's what I do. The catalogue should not be on the startup disk. If you dedicate a big drive to the LR, previews, your images and your presets catalog * you can move that drive to any machine that has the LR application on it, Mac or Windows. Double-click the catalog and you're all set. Which makes the drive for other purposes of easy super backup cloning. You may have as I do, three disks that are after the cloning, identical. One is the drive working, the other a backup, a third live in a fireproof safe. When you work on a single disc, adding new images and adding to the catalogue, you will bring it until another drive is a prefect "clone".

  * in LR preferences defined "Store Presets with catalog" then they travel with the player when you move from one machine to the other. Takes 20 seconds to plug in the player, wait for it to go up, double click on catalog, actually.

  Thank you for your help. Although I couldn't make it work immediately, but your link led to the solution, and I have it working fine now on the cloud outside the use of my WIFI network. I didn't have to use iTunes, which is what I wanted to do.
