TYPE OF PDF ON HP M1319FMFP

I recently updated my computer fron 32-bit to 64-bit. Operating system Windows 7 Home premium.

Since the upgrade I can only find TIF, BMP, JPG, PNG file for scanning worms and not PDF as types previously. I have downloaded the driver concerned after the upgrade.

Can someone please help?

Hi @plasie ,

I see by your post that you no longer have the ability to save scanning to PDF format, since the upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit.
I would like to help.

Drivers are a Hostbase Plug and Play drivers. It is not a software driver to full functionality with additional scanning software to save the scans in PDF format. You will need to use a third-party software.

You can download a scan to PDF software, by doing a search on the internet.

Good day!
Thank you.

  • Problem with the opening of intention with the type ' application/pdf' and no extension of file in Acrobat 16.0 for Android

I'm having a problem with an Android app that opens pdf files through an intention with ' application/pdf ' as type a uri that does not include an extension (something like "file:///storage/emulated/0/Android/data/package.name/cache/Documents/Document20136000217 25840499999") the file picker opens properly, but if I choose Adobe Acrobat, Acrobat is activated but immediately closes with the message "No applications available on the device to open files of this type".

If I select the Reader PDF Viewer to open intend the file opens correctly. I also tried adding '.pdf' name of the file and in this case the intention also works with Adobe Acrobat.

Acrobat seems to ignore the mime type. Documentation to http://developer.android.com/intl/es/reference/android/content/Intent.html#getData () which seems to be a mistake - the mime type must take precedence over the content of the data.

The application runs on a Nexus with Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 5.

  • Several types of pdf export (high quality, prepress, smaller size, etc.) in a single process indd file?

    Hello world

For many of the projects I'm working on that I need to provide customers with a high resolution, low resolution and ready to print their documents. It is not a huge deal to run the export of Indesign 3 times, but I wonder if there is a batch process that can do at once? For the moment, I'm archiving work and it's a major pain to do this for each file!

I have been a script, perhaps a droplet of acrobat or action, Distiller affecting thinking, or perhaps a third-party app?

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I looked for something like this for a while, but the only thing I found is out factory of Zervik - I'm not yet sure he does several types of indd. But surely there are free tools or some intelligent workflows that I have not yet stumbled...

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  • What types of pdf files can be modified?

I have a pdf file created in some design software, no word.  Can I still change it?  Do I need Acrobat Pro or can I use Acrobat Standard?

It is not really "kinds" of PDF in a simple way. Assuming that you are talking about text, a PDF file can contain any combination of

    * text is just an image; not editable, but you can sometimes use the OCR, not always

content which is the text, but pell-mell, impossible to change, copy or search

    * text this is good text, but you do not have the police so can't change it

    * text is the text proper, but for some reason any police you have does not match and you can not change this

    * appropriate text and you can change it with the police that you own.

But then the provision of texts and other elements determines if you can change. Any type of modification that does not fit in one line (like changing a phone number) is many ask.

Acrobat Standard is not worse than Acrobat Pro for editing text.

  • SQL convert image data [Coldfusion 10] type to pdf file

Data of type image in my database table. How to save the data as a pdf file. The data in the table are already pdf type 0x151C240002000000080008001400... I tried select boxid, datapdf records where datapdf is not null FileWrite ("data.pdf", records.datapdf [1]); He did save the file as a pdf, but as soon as the file is says "it is not a type of file supported or because the file has been damaged".

Maybe, maybe not.  Access unfortunately has a way of screwing of the binary (blob) data that is stored in it by adding a wrapper around the data.  I ran across this before, but I don't remember the details of what was going on - I think he had something to do with OLE objects compared to the data of the actual image (photos JPG) file.  I ended up needing to have the contractor who put data go back and reinsert the images correctly.

In my case, some of the jpg files have been loaded correctly (and migrate to SQL Server correctly), but others are not.  You may need to use to open the file in Access and save the images out of files, then by running a separate process to load the images in your database system (you didn't specify that you are using).

  • Open a new File() by Script and set the Type of PDF file fails...

    Hi all

I created a script to download PDFs from a server and store them in an Indesign Document. Everything works fine except Indesign doesn't not recocnize file Type when you try to place the pdf file and get an error that the downloaded PDF file cannot be due to the filter of the unknown.

This is because the file type is apparently set to TEXT (creator is CARO) event if I write the file with

    myFile.open ('w', 'PDF', "CARO");

    No idea how

-get Indesign all the file type of a file newly generated in PDF format

    or

-Change the Type of file later

    or

-tell Indesign what filter to use when you place this file?

    Thanks for your help

    BTW: Indesign CS5 (7.0.4), OS X 10.6.8

UH... but you might be better off placing both '\0\0\0\0' and leave the treatment kick file extension.

The error refers to the issue with the font embedded in PDF format.

Please check if the police "Verdana" is incorporated, and not under the file menu > properties > fonts.

  • Static files (any type of pdf, txt, rar... etc)

    Hello people,

I created an application, now I have a specific query, I wan't something like below: -.

'When the user clicks on the URL, it must be able to download the file that I downloaded in my application
"[http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/packaged_apps/packaged_apps.html#OEHR] in the link above, when the user clicks the oehr_sample_objects.zip < b > < /b > a new window opens (download file) open with 3 buttons, I wan't exactly like that.

So, how do I have to download the file to my current application, and how should I approach such that when the user clicks on the link a new window (download file) is invited and also with 3 button like open, save, and cancel.

Any good example link or if someone can help out me step by step approach that would be greatfull.

    Thank you

    Kind regards
    Kumar

    Hi Kumar,

Even if you have associated the file with your application, you should always use #WORKSPACE_IMAGES #. In addition, you probably add a target to your A link tag:

    <a href="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#filename.pdf" target="_blank">filename</a>

-In addition, the "Wan't" - the English word thing is 'want', which means ' desire, need or desire for ' something - but I knew you meant!

  • Type MIME and PDF download apex 4.2.1

    Hello

A few days ago we went to Apex 4.2.1 and I wonder if there is a bug in the article "file browse...» ».
In an older version (don't know if 4.0 or 3.2) everything worked fine, but when I'm now downloading PDF files via the file browser, Apex inserts "application/download" or "text/html" as MIME type in apex_application_files.
Trying to download them logically crashes, because the browser receives the incorrect MIME.
But only recognized with PDF files... Download e.g. JPGs or TXTs get is the right MIME type.
As a workaround I hardcode the MIME type ' application/pdf', if the file ends in ".pdf", but I prefer to get it from the apex_application_files table.
I'm the only one having this problem or knows already?

    Thank you very much

    Hi Daniel,.

Do you use EPG, mod_plsql or APEX listener? Have you changed the mechanism of connection after upgrading to 4.2.1?
If you use the earpiece of the APEX, which version do you use? What browser and version do you use to download the file? It reproduces with other browsers as well?

  • cffile action = upload see as type text/html application/pdf file

I have a strange error that occurred in the last month or so, but I just met him today.

CFFILE no longer recognizes the files the correct mime type.

I am running CFMX 7,0,1,116466 on Windows XP, Sun 1.4.2_05 JM - b04

The code that worked a month ago, if not later (like a week ago) is now back:

The MIME type of the downloaded file ' text/html' is not accepted by the server.

Only files of type ' application/pdf' can be downloaded.
Make sure that you download a file of the appropriate type.

Am I missing something here? I think not, because the code that worked no longer works.

I have attached a test code which will also result in error.

    Thanks for the reply, Adam!

I checked with the admin, no changes to one of the servers, web or cfmx, or the jvm.

So I had to think about it and the only thing that has changed is... my version of Firefox!

After testing out I think that it is a problem with Firefox 2.0.0.8 (tested only on windows), because the code works fine with IE 7 and on a version of FF on OS X.

Firefox 2.0.0.8 registers files of type application/pdf to text/html.

  • There are many versions I [changed an option] so that PDF files does not open in Firefox. v 42.0, now I have no pdf viewer by default/built-in at all.

I don't know how long it was, but I decided that I didn't want to use the pdf viewer by default in Firefox at the time, and because things have been very slow in the browser, I disabled the default viewer and set options to ensure that all PDF files that are open outside of the browser and directly in Adobe. I have no memory of what I've done to get there in time.

Now for c. 42.0 (and 41.0.2, front) when I go to Options > Applications and select one of the "Adobe Acrobat Document" s, my only options are always "ask," "Save the file", or «Use other...» "and there is certainly no option of Firefox Viewer in 'another use. »

With Adobe Reader latest terms and the fact that they can now push updates when they want, I just * never * use again.

How to bring back the integrated pdf viewer? I realize there are other pdf viewers and I'm picking through those, but I would still have a browser too.

Oh, hang on, I missed something. When you go into Options > Application, the content type that you want to change is Portable Document Format (PDF) , which is the standard type application/pdf. (The others being obscure guys like Marlon who are not your problem). Does it work?
